STRENGTHS
+Disciplined: Like many Atrisians, Ieyasu comes from a background culture that practices rigid, disciplined beliefs. He has learned to keep a tight grip over his emotions. That is not to say he is not without them, but it takes something truly drastic to get a rise out of his demeanor. When not on assignment, he can be found in whatever personal chamber he's assigned to, using some form of meditation in order to keep this practice continuing.
+Military Training: Prior to becoming a pilot, Ieyasu started off as a cadet in one of Atrisia's military academies. He was given training in how to be an effective soldier, learning the ways of both melee and marksmanship. So, if the time comes that he's needed on the ground, he can fend for himself.
+Pilot: After his time as a cadet, he applied to the Atrisian Starfighter Corps. Between this and career across Atrisia and the First Order, Ieyasu has shown great skill as a fighter pilot. Not entirely an ace, but competent to head his own squadron.
WEAKNESSES
-Humanocentric: As he is spent much time with the First Order, Ieyasu has picked up the humanocentric doctrine of this Imperial remnant. It is also due to the increasing amount of aliens who aided the Ike Royal Family, and those who caused the First Order to collapse. He begrudgingly acknowledges any aliens in the Auxiliary, but is not above belittling them.
-Rebel Hater: In his zealous adherence to the First Order's doctrine, Ieyasu firmly believes in its ability to end lawlessness to the Galaxy. He is thus vehemently against those who would dare rebel against the First Order, sometimes to the point where he loses sight on the objective at hand. This hatred also stems from a personal loss during the occupation of Atrisia.
PERSONALITY
Ieyasu comes off as rather reserved. It takes a lot to truly enrage him, save for a couple big triggers. Ever since joining the First Order, he has developed extreme prejudice against non-humans, and even burning hatred for rebels. Otherwise, he is a very calm, and polite man. He is not one to give insult, unless it in jest, or if he feels that the subject deserves it. He holds loyalty to the First Order that is unwavering, as he believes in the idea of a Galaxy free of disorder and conflict under the First Order's banner.
BIOGRAPHY
The man known as Ieyasu Sakai was born into humble origins. His family were mere farmers in the Atrisian countryside. His ancestors were once great warriors and noblemen, but their lands had been stripped of their lands and title by the Ike due to their association with an immoral lord. Ever since, the Sakai held a bitter resentment to the Ike, and such resentment trickled down to Ieyasu.
As a boy, Ieyasu was always fascinated with the idea of flying. While the Galaxy was still recovering from a plague that brought ruin to many worlds, Ieyasu was seeking out his destiny. When he became of age, he first brought his application to one of the esteemed military academies on Atrisia. It was here that he learned to fight and strategize like any good soldier would do. He would then train and transfer himself over the Atrisian Starfighter Corps, and developed his skills as a pilot. As he grew accustomed to his wings, he became close friends with one of his fellow pilots. A young man named Ryu.
Ieyasu and Ryu were often paired together, becoming like brothers through their bonds as squadron mates. Everything changed when the First Order arrived. Ieyasu was in admiration of its might, and its promises of bringing harmony to a chaotic Galaxy. Ieyasu and Ryu joined up with the First Order's occupying force, offering their skills to become new recruits to the First Imperial Starfighter Corps. The two quickly rose, their past skills bumping them up above the other recruits. It was not long after that when Ieyasu sparked a hatred of all things rebellious and alien.
It was when the First Order was collapsing during its conflict with Ssi-ruu. Rebels on Atrisia were becoming more bold, and were getting help from alien agents from enemy factions to the First Order. One of them got lucky, and was able to shoot Ryu out of the sky while on patrol. Ieyasu saw his friend, his brother, go up in a plasmatic fireball. He retaliated and wiped out the insurgents. In the interim between that moment and the present, Ieyasu stuck with the remnants of the First Order fleet, going when called upon. He also gained enough prestige with his superiors to be alotted the rank of "Squadron Leader", and formed Saber Squadron - a mix of Atrisian loyalists to the First Order and anyone Ieyasu deemed worthy to join in.
He now sets his sights upon helping rebuild the First Order to its former glory, and bring justice and peace to the disharmony of the Galaxy.
