I Less Than Three You

Jak shrugged. "I really didn't have much planned. You decide."

That, and he was being belligerent.

"Well, we could go walking down on the beach. Make out some more..."

The feel of Jak's lips was continuously magical to her.

She smiled at Jak mischievously.

He stroked his chin, pretending to consider the possibility.

"Hmm... that's a possibility... but is it the only possibility?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Well. We could go hike in the woods and have a picknick in the woods with a blanket."

She gets up and moves over to Jak.

"And after we eat. We can have 'fun' on the blanket."

Lightly kissing him, she hopes the idea she gave was fun enough sounding.

He gave an exaggerated nod. "Okay. That sounds like fun," he said, kissing her back.

"No, I'm serious!" he said, at the picnic spot (finally). "I had a dream about meeting Circe long before I actually met her."

Emily always sort of cringed at the mention of Circe. "Oh. That's interesting..."

"What did you pack for lunch?" she asks, putting a smile on her face.

"Yeah, well... it's over..."

He was glad at the change of topic. "Well, there's some nerf jerky, as well as some nut-butter sandwiches."

After lunch happened, she lay down on the blanket.

"Oi, that was good. Thanks for lunch babe."

She closed her eyes with a smile playing on her lips, though she wasn't sleepy.

Just waiting.

He gave a half-grin. "No problem."

As she lay down, he stole a quick glance. She had her eyes closed, but that didn't mean squat.

He grinned to himself. Ah whatever.

"Wake up Sleeping Beauty," he said, leaning over to her and holding her down with a kiss.

Keeping her eyes closed she pulled him down viciously.

Methodically she opened and closed her mouth against his with her tongue slipping in and out of his mouth.

"You taste so sweet..." Her eyes opened up. "Hon, can we have babies?"

This was as good as time as any to ask.

"Mmpth!"

His eyes began to close, and he kissed her back, just as passionately.

And then he froze. Well, the topic was bound to surface sooner or later. May as well be now.

He sat beside her, arms resting loosely on his knees. "Hhrn. How do I put this... Ah, no. Simply, no. What I am is not compatible with what you are. We'd get a houseplant at most."

"Oh..." disappointment is clear.

"Okay," she says, laying down again. This time with less pseudo sleep.

"Yeah..." he said.

"See, if there was a way I could become human again... I'm not so sure I'd do it. I mean, I've gotten used to being a plant. I talk more with the local flora than my own fellow beings. Heck, I don't know if I could give up the Force. The only reason I have it at all is because I'm a plant. And I don't know if I could give that up. I don't know if I want to give it up."

He sighed. "See, I'm not entirely a Vinithi, either. I'm a half-Vi...nith...i..."

He had an idea...

"There's not anything I can do about it," he said, the idea taking shape behind a wall of fake sadness. "Sorry, Em."

"It's fine," she says, all hope given up.

"Just come kiss me." She needed that comfort.

He smiled a little. "That I can help you with," he said, kissing her softly.

Gently, she kissed him back with tears lightly rolling down her face.

The news of what Jak said hit her hard.

He broke the kiss, opting instead for a hug. Not for his benefit, but for hers.

Later at the house while they were watching another holofilm, Emily gets up.

"So tomorrow, we need to go do something exciting," she says.

"I need excitement. That's not to say wht we've been doing in bed isn't exciting, but y'know..."

"EXCITEMENT!" She shouts launching herself onto Jak.

He nodded, then paused. "Wait. We've been in bed, what. Twice? And you can make a judgement based on that?" he joked.

"Whoa!" he yelped, catching her as she landed on him.

They were very close now. He looked up into two liquid blue orbs. "Hi there," he said, pecking her on her lips.

He could feel her heartbeat drum against his chest, and felt his own begin to pick up.

"It doesn't have to be just the bed," she says with a moan.

Sitting up she whips her shirt off revealing her bra.

"Round three: couch," she laughs, going in to kiss Jak with passion.
