Spring on imahalyan
The best time of the year
The flowers were bright and had just begun budding
The flower wine was the sweetest it could be
However there was a different air to it...especially around the capital, the palace had been re arranged with seating for nearly 100 people. A building nearby had a table filled with drinks and different foods some of the best quality around with the chefs cooking it right there.

It was both yet not, it was a day of union between two people, a coronation as well but it was not the main event for the day. Stardust sat within a little offset room. Looking in the mirror as she adjusted her dress a bit and took a breath.....she sorta wished dresses would look good while pregnant. She sighed and let the breath out, she was nervous and excited, she had to guess [member="Darben Skirae"] had to be even more nervous then her.

The doors would be opening on the palace to allow guest inside, however they were taking names just to make sure no one...shifty got through, she had her guards hidden well but didnt expect any trouble from anyone at all...just a safe guard incase anyone did

It was just a hour away...till she would be Queen Stardust australis skirae, she put a hand on her round belly and simply smiled. All her family would be there

 

[Darben Skirae]

Darben Skirae was...nervous. What else could he be? He was to marry [member="Stardust Bloodstone"], one of the most beautiful woman he could ever have loved. And yet he was afraid. Nercous about how this could go for them. What if things went bad? What if later things did not go their way? What if...what if... That's all he could think about. What if? He hadn't even thought about who to be best man, except [member="Rex Taff"] ([member="Tom Taff"]) who had been there a few times for him.

He was wearing a tuxedo and and he was pacing the dressing room he was in. Muttering to himself quietly about all the ways this could go terribly wrong. Renla was with Stardust, helping anyway she could. "What am I to do if this goes wrong..." he muttered to himself, sitting on a chair.

 

[Gaia Sunaris Cadera]

Beth had received the wedding invitation several weeks before the big day from her Clan sister, [member="Stardust Bloodstone"]. Stardust was going to marry [member="Darben Skirae"] in an elegant, beautiful, and royal ceremony Imahalyan, the planet she was the Queen of. Beth was excited to go to another wedding! The first she had been too, Cassiopeia and Raiz, turned into a bit of a debacle with a crazy government official nearly ruining their big day. Since Stardust was the ruler of the planet, hopefully, they wouldn't have any issues like that.

In either case, Beth had arrived a couple days before. She used those extra days before the wedding to explore the Imahalyan capital and learn more about the planet. She enjoyed the beautiful springtime weather, learning about the culture and history of the planet. It was quiet, peaceful land. She liked it. Plus, she got to broaden her galactic view even more!

She had arrived at the palace and took in the view as she checked in at the entrance with the guards. Off to the site, she could smell and see the food and drink area. Ahead of her, she assumed was where the ceremony itself would take place. She wore a long, red dress that slipped off her shoulders, hair carefully braided into French milkmaid braid. She wondered who else might show up - she knew Stardust heavily interacted with the Mandalorians, particularly Clan Australis, but also with the Commenor Systems Alliance and probably others that Beth wasn't aware of. For now, though, no one else showed up that she knew.

She rubbed her hands as she began to walk towards the food area. Maybe some others would show up soon. But, after checking her comms, it seemed that there was a little bit of time before the ceremony started and she was really craving some type of soda.

Tom would walk in as [member="Darben Skirae"] asked what would he do if it went wrong. Tom simply said "You let me look after it." He had come with [member="Mykes Vatak"]. He was wearing This. He had his lightsabres on his belt along with one of the Taff blades and the blade of beginnings with him. He wanted this wedding to go smoothly even if he was to help out as best man.

He had quietly shown up at the venue a few days before hand and set up several escape routes as well as defensive things. [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] should have no idea that he did not even Mykes knew he had been here earlier. His job now was to take his fathers role as best man. He had done a similar job in the last wedding. He hoped Mykes would stick with him this time though. He really loved the man and preferred it when he stayed near Tom especially with the force bond between them.

He had heard [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] was present and any other day he would have gone and hung out with her but right now he was here for Darben. "Okay so are you ready Darben, because this is the biggest day of your life and all precautions have been taken care of. Don't worry about the specifics that is my job today. Now come on stop worrying you will knock them all over." He said with a smile showing on his face.

 

[Mykes Vatak]

Mykes stood by [member="Tom Taff"] in the dressing room while [member="Darben Skirae"] was fumbling about out of nervous tensions. He seemed rather uptight to Mykes, and yet there was Tom. Helping him out of the nervous tensions, being there for the man like he was for many. It had been his father's duty to do so, but Rex had disappeared. And it worried Mykes greatly as to why he would. He beckoned Tom over to the corner he was in, his own suit (light blue) feeling tight. He never really liked suits much, and this tux he had was not so comfortable.

"Tom, he seems real nervous. You think he'll be all right?" he asked, glancing over at the groom. He'd not seen someone so uptight and nervous and confused about anything before.

A servant came in, she stood up straight and spoke

your majesty, we are ready to begin

Stardust stood fron her seat and took a deep.breath turning on her heel. She stardust past the servant and got to the door and stopped. This was her final moments, after this was a brand new future, she put a hand on the door and opened it stepping out

Meanwhile within the open area a announcement was made that the ceremony was about to begin and to take your seat. A servant was sent to darben to tell him and allow him to come out to the alter. Around the room silence could be heard like a blanket being draped over the room to hush it. Once everything was settled and everyone was in place the music would start up


Stardust had no one to walk her, however she knew if her father was here...he'd walk her again....just like he did when she was a young adult. She closed her eyes and smiled as the doors opened to reveal her standing there in a pearl white dress. She smiled and started walking down the aisle flowers in hand as she looked to the altar

 

[Darben Skirae]

He sighed. He was trusting [member="Tom Taff"], he realized that. Put a lot on his plate. "Yeah...yeah. Thanks, I...I don't know where your father is, but I am glad you were able to fill in" Darben Skirae said to Tom. And he had even brought a friend of his, [member="Mykes Vatak"] though he guessed there was something more.

Darben heard the door open as someone came in, a servant. The servant let him know it was time. Time for, as Tom had said, the biggest day of his life. Things were about to change so much for him. So up he stood and out he went, taking many deep breaths. He waited, waited for the music. Then there she was. [member="Stardust Bloodstone"], the star of his life and he felt all his worries flush out.

[Ra'a'mah]

This was going to be more than union to Ra. Stardust and Darben getting married would bring another person into her family. It was a good thing she and Darben had met and got along. She just hoped everything would work out between him and Star. Her adoptive sister seemed to have very poor luck in her marriages. In a way Ra was glad she was still not tied down. The pain that came with the loss wasn't something she looked forward to feeling again.

Here Ra was going to be Star's maid of honor and waited at the entrance for her sister to join her. Having found a beautiful floor length maroon gown, she did not outshine Star with anything.

This was her sister's day and true to her word, Ra had provided everything needed for this. Decorations in their chosen colors covered the various tables and there were even a few banners hanging on the walls. Food and drink was also present for the reception.

Soon Star found her and started walking down the aisle, Ra following in behind her.

Time just, slowed....no one else was there, she barely even felt her sister walking behind her it was just her and darben in that world. She offered him a bright smile as she was half way there as she couldnt believe this day had came....she took a breath as she reached the altar turning towards darben as she held her flowers as she looked him in the eye

heh...cant believe this day is finally here...darben

One of the council men came up between them and motioned for the music to slowly die down until silence came over the room. Once silence had fully taken hold of the room he cleared his throat

we are gathered today, for a joyous day, we gather for the union of our queen stardust and our new king darben. There has been no king in the history of the planet, there has been only those elected...however with the reign of queen stardust she has brought about peace and prosperity. Now today we bring her together with our first king.

He turned to darben

I will now allow the groom a few words to the bride

Here he was, staring upon the love of his life. No, the star of his life. And he was revolving around her like a loyal planet, a loyal husband to her. "I couldn't till it was here, Star" he whispered back. The councilman came between them as he began to speak. And his breath caught for a moment, hearing the title. That was something that he expected, yet also hadn't expected. Then it was asked of him for words. He glanced around for a moment, seeing those there. Some he knew and no doubt [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] did know, and some he knew well such as [member="Tom Taff"].

Then he turned back to Stardust. "First time I met you, you had helped me with my daughter, Renla" as he said that, he caught her wonderful smile. "She was speechless until you came along. And from then on, you helped us and became a great friend. You helped me through trou..." he paused, taking a breath at thinking to that. "Through troubled times. I was a broken man, raising a child alone. But you offered us so much. You offered your place to stay, offered her a voice. And offered me your love, as I offered to you. The question I asked you, when I placed a ring upon your finger. It is not a day I will soon regret."
