  • Obvious: Though it possesses a variety of onboard jammers, their is nothing remotely stealthy about the Hyper-Jammer, especially considering its distinct shape and ship profile
DESCRIPTION

Even by Mahporeem standards, the Hyper-Jammer is something of an abomination, though one that serves a in crucial role for the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. As the Mahporeem Imperial Navy lacked any sort of dedicated electronic warfare vessels, it was decided to take spare TIE/sa tactical bombers and convert them for this purpose. Unfortunately, the added weight of the various electronic jammers to the TIE Bomber made it unacceptably slow and clunky, forcing the Imperial Remnant to experiment with different designs.

The solution came in the form of the Syliure-31 hyperspace docking ring. By welding TIE Bomber frames to the hyperspace docking rings, the Imperial Remnant was able to create a vessel sturdy enough to support the weight of the various electronic warfare systems aboard it while still maintaining an acceptable performance. Of course, the Hyper-Jammer is by no means even remotely fast or agile, and requires extensive starfighter support to keep it safe in battle.

In exchange, the Hyper-Jammer excels at electronic warfare, allowing it to jam and scramble various electronic systems aboard enemy vessels. The Hyper-Jammer can target energy and optical readings, target and missile locks, ship communications and even reveal cloaked vessels in the heat of battle. Hyper-Jammers are even powerful enough to target small capital ships with their electronic warfare systems, though anything larger than a corvette would require more powerful systems than the Hyper-Jammer carries.

Due to this feature of anti-stealth technology, I will have to ask you to bring the submission to Semi-Unique per the Restricted Materials section of the Factory Rules. Which is quoted below.

Particularly rare or powerful special features will necessitate using a lower level of production, such as stealth or anti stealth technologies (for example: cloaking technology, personal cloaking devices, gemcutters, crystal grav traps, moon dust), or rare canon technologies (for example: Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainers, etc) and their equivalents will only be permitted at Semi-Unique production.
