The Archmage's ChambersBefore the Conflict
The Archmage of Council of Sorcery was getting nervous. His senses gave him chills, his orbs had started telling him terible things. He seemed disturbance in the Force, something strange, something greater. But he couldn't tell what it was. It was better to find it out, but the only thing he knew was the approximate location of the monstrosity. He couldn't tell what planet it came from. Nor would he want to. The Archmage didn't have time to focus on community things. He worried only about himself. At that moment, he felt he could give his little council something to do.
And that is why he telepathically spoke to all members of the faction.
"My lovely Sorcerers of all kinds! I must tell you the great disturbance I feel in the Force. It feels like... Sorcery is in trouble. Please don't tell me something is going on with you... I wouldn't want that. But, of course I understand you are loyal to me, your humble lord, and thus, I have to tell you there is something going on in the nearby areas and I would love you forever if you went to see what do I sense.
My time is running short, but I will leave you the coordinates of the location to the site. They are [coordinates of the location]. I will keep you updated."
And so he finished his speech.

Maria was but a mere Purifier Neophyte, but one of the very few members of this force the Council of Sorcery had. She had heard the telepathical speech of the Archmage. Well, why wouldn't she? "The Archmage was the most powerful person in the galaxy, after all." At that moment, the woman had nothing to do, so she set her ship ready for going there. She hoped she remember the coordinates. It would have been strange if she ended up in the other side of the galaxy.
...
After some time had passed, Maria was near the place where she was supposed to go. It was interesting that the Archmage's coordinates had been right, even though they he had come up with them just to give the Sorcerers an approximate location. Indeed, Maria had no chance to know of that, so that's why she didn't. Instead, she wondered what could be going on on the Hutt planet. It was famous amongst the people of the Outer Rim, as a place of crime.
It was truly interesting. Since when was the Archmage interested in ending crime?
The woman was but in the orbit of this planet, so she quickly started landing on the capital city, which seemed like the most likely location for the problem to take place in. Even if it wasn't so, the capital would have still been the most useful.
