DESCRIPTION
Unlike many of the weapons designed and produced by the House Corek Forges their take on the traditional Mandalorian Kal dagger has seen little change since its inception by the smiths millennia ago. A relatively long leaf-shaped double-edge dagger that is optimized for both slashing and thrusting attacks the Corek Kal is a deadly sharp blade.

The materials used in the Kal's design are what you'd typically expect of a Mandalorian weapon. The blade and tang are constructed from Beskar giving the blade both superb durability and a razor sharp edge. The hilt is built out of the sturdy Veshok wood native to Mandalore while the sheath is made of Thaelo leather, a a predatory primate native to House Corek's adopted homeworld of Saleucami, and finally the hilt and sheath both are detailed with Electrum.

The Kal is rather light when it comes to features but each said feature is only added to strengthen the design. The blade of the dagger is designed with two layers, a softer outer layer and a stronger inner layer, this design lending the blade both better strength and flexibility. Grooves carved into the hilt of the dagger allow wielders to get a more firm grip on it. A self-sharpening sheath keeps the dagger honed to a razors edge even between uses and a magnetic attachment points on the sheath allow it to be attached to armor plates.
