SETTING INFORMATION

Structure Name: Arenais Estate.
Classification: Homestead.
Location: Commenor.
Affiliation: Caedyn Arenais, House Arenais.

Accessibility:
The new Estate of House Arenais is buried upon the edge of the Eldritch Mountains bordering upon Munto Valley, the land which formerly held the second largest City on Commenor. While much of the Estate is contained by the surrounding earth, the top level is accessible by foot and one merely has to walk the foot of the hill-side to reach the entrance of the vast residence.

The grounds surrounding the Arenais Estate consists mostly of forestation that covers the majority of the Eldritch Mountain. The new residence is located upon the opposite side from the former home which was devastated during the Sith Empire's year long occupation of Commenor and subsequent rebellion. Now much farther from the capital Chasin City, reaching this location requires either air or ground transportation and should one have the families security clearance in possession, may be granted access to the residence hangar embedded within the mountain at the base of the estate's ground level.

Description:
The residence of Caedyn Arenais and his family doesn't look like much from the outside, though first impressions aren't everything.

The very rectangle shaped facility sitting at the base of the vast Eldritch mountainside verging on Munto Valley has been built to be discretely hidden by the dense, surrounding woodland; And while the Estate consists of several floors not including the private hangar, most of this has been built to be contained by the mountainside itself and is very securely embedded within the earth of Commenor.

Upon entry however, guests and family members alike will be greeted by the modern decor and state of the art technology that credits can buy. The ground floor is made of thick transparent alloy that may expose the interior to the outside world, or otherwise be guarded by the facilities own blast shutters, reinforced defensive shielding that retract into the sides of the mountain when not in use. Something that was built with the history of the previous attacks and invasion of the Empire during the Monarchy's reign.

The Residence consists of numerous bedroom quarters for family members and guests, multiple bathrooms and living quarters, two kitchens and an entire floor designed for leisure and relaxation. The private Hangar has enough room for the storing of an estimated ten Starfighters or otherwise fewer larger personal craft, yet will not cater to anything bigger than freighter sized vessels.

The grounds surrounding the establishment are open and wild, the vast Munto Valley offering plenty of ground to cover and explore, far from the eyes of others. This locale is extremely private, however easily accessible providing one knows of it's whereabouts.

POINTS OF INTEREST

• Master Bedroom and En-suite.

The Master Suite is the largest bedroom in the Estate and is Caedyn Arenais' personal quarters. It consists of a king-sized bed, office equipment, Holographic display with surround-sound theater audio setup, as well as a programmable holo-communications and entertainment system accessible via remote. The en-suite is encompasses a shower, spa-bath and the otherwise generic facilities.

• Kitchen & Dining Room.

The main Kitchen and Dining Room is on the ground floor and is built to house the family and numerous guests. This is a single yet extremely large living area, the Kitchen sectioned off by a marble bench, and tiled flooring. The equipment is all state of the art, modern make from the refrigerator to the sanis-steam washing units.

• Main Living Room.

The Main living room is the largest section of the ground floor that looks out across the Munto Valley via the massive transparisteel wall lining the front of the residence. In times of emergency, the blast doors are activated and close in at the center to protect the facility from external threats such as air to surface bombardment. On a good day however, this room can be enjoyed by lounging upon a variety of comfortable furniture and entertainment such as the wall-mounted holo-vision, as well as a bar for the storage and serving of alcohol and other chilled beverages.

• Additional Living Rooms.

An extension of the Guest Wing, these living quarters are for the luxury and leisure of guests to the Family Estate. While this section is a level below the ground floor, the walls have been designed and built using holographic imaging technology in order to portray a sense of outside life and deter the feeling of claustrophobia or stress from being underground.

• Lounge and Leisure Quarter.

Designed with the entertainment of younger persons in mind, this is essentially a movie theater built within a home. Here one might enjoy the watching of holo-net flicks or gaming on the latest consoles. The first place you would send your youngling should they start driving you up the wall.

• Outdoor Swimming Pool.

The Outdoor Swimming and Leisure area is built at the front of the Estate and is surrounded on all sides by the woodland habitat. While it's fairly private thanks to the natural environment, there are no fences or security beyond motion tracking sensors. Otherwise the swimming pool is large and rather deep for the use of adults and younglings alike. There is a bar and entertainment stall nearby and surrounding the pool are a number of outdoor chairs one can lay back in and soak up the sun.

• Guest Quarters.

Lavish and numerous, the Guest Quarters are designed to hold more friends than Caedyn actually has. Truth be told his Sister and Mother were kept in mind with regards to this area, where the rooms have been designed and furnished to appease the needs and comforts of those whom might stay at the Residence. All rooms contain en-suites of their own.

• Personal Office/Studio.

The work station set up for Caedyn Arenais and directly linked to the Jedi Comport in order to fulfill his responsibilities to the Silver Jedi Order from home. The room itself is sound proof and contains an extensive security station with displays from each of the residence' external holo-camera's. At the back of the Office is a "panic room" otherwise used as a vault for the safe keeping of sensitive items and information that Caedyn would keep out of the hands of others. His Father's holocron for example.

• Training Facilities.

An underground wing of it's own, Caedyn has taken inspiration from the training wing of the Silver Rest on Kashyyyk and given the family home it's very own Jedi training rooms, encompassing a fitness gymnasium and sparring dojo with holographic settings for solo training.

• Meditation Room.

This is a simple room with cushioned seating surrounding the center of the room forming a circle. The walls have included the same holographic desplay as the Guest quarters, however the portrayal of much calmer natural themes has been used for the purpose of encouraging a peaceful and comfortable space to reflect and decompress.

• Cellar/Basement Storage.

The lowest level in the underground section of the house contains the residence food and additional storage, requiring a turbo-lift for fast access should one not be interested in taking a long walk down the flight of stairs. Much of the vegetation from the Hydroponics bay is stored here, as well as all other goods with enough room to last six-months of living were all the rooms occupied and shut off from the outside world in the case of emergency.

• Tool Shed & Work-Shop.

The artisan quarters for the creation of tools and assets. Simply put, this is where Caedyn might work on his Lightsaber, or create other weapons or armor for example. It also serves as the source of all maintenance requirements for the rest of the Estate.

• Internal hydroponics and vegetation.

The indoor hydroponics and horticulture section is designed with the intention of self-sufficient provisions, the growing of ones own food. As the Cities are quite a distance away from the Estate, the ability to rely on services provided in-house offer a convenient duration of time before one's required to step back out into the wider World.

• Secluded Hangar.

The vast Hangar capable of holding ten smaller vessels, with the average maximum class ship being that of a light freighter. This is used for family and friends, although access requires security clearance handed down by Caedyn himself.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

In the early days, Caedyn's Mother was appointed President over Commenor by the peoples vote and there guided by the Aldermen, sought to lead the province into a golden age of democracy. Caedyn's Father, Veiere Arenais was a Jedi Knight during this time and had become the appointed bodyguard and confidante of the Lady President; However as time passed on, the two of them grew closer and eventually became a couple. Following the collapse of the Galactic Republic, Veiere Arenais focused his time into forming the Order of Commenor, as well as establishing the House Arenais and a permanent Residence for he and Lady Kay, dubbed 'Chateau La Arenais' as an inside joke between them.

Unsuspecting of any attack, Lady NPC Treasury disappeared without a trace during one of her regular journey's down through the Twin Canyons of Commenor. Veiere Arenais led an investigation alongside Kay's Ministry of Office, however six months passed without word nor sight of her. Her next appearance on Commenor would come when all hope seemed to be lost, and alongside her during his shocking reveal was one Darth Prazutis , the Sith Lord who had abducted and turned her to the Dark-side subsequently resulting in Kay's declaration of Commenor to be led under a dictatorship as Queen.

The year that followed was hard fought and filled with tragedies as the former ministers and government regime were all arrested, the majority executed under the manipulation of the Sith Lord's mentor-ship over Kay. In secret, Veiere Arenais met with her regularly and through their established Force Bond was able to remove the hold that Darth Prazutis had over her. This started the first rebellion against the Sith presence on Commenor and with many lives lost, they eventually succeeded in restoring the damage wrought upon Kay's mind, and cleansing the world of the Sith-Imperial insurrection.

Commenor's recovery was long and arduous, as was the trauma wrought upon the Lady Kay. While she remained Queen, the position had been won through horrible means not of her nature. In these dark times, she leaned heavily upon Veiere Arenais for guidance and stability, and over the next few years they eventually married, appointing Veiere as King through this union. Several years following, the twins Caedyn and Loreena Arenais-Valhoun were born.

What started with the hope for one World eventually grew beyond the scope of what Veiere and Kay had ever imagined, their influence expanding to other neighboring worlds in the first days of the Commenor Systems Alliance. Their leadership and advocacy for peace and neutrality would reach far and wide across the expansive regions, gaining the attention of numerous other Nations including that of the Sith Empire and Darth Carnifex .

Once again the Sith sought to bring chaos to Commenor, managing to successfully blockade the Capital World cutting them off from their surrounding Nations and crippling the CSA's financial economy. In devastating their ability to govern beyond their own sector, the Monarchy was forced to relinquish claim to the worlds they had previously sought to protect and from there, the Emperor began his invasion. Veiere Arenais narrowly escaped the executioners block while Kay Arenais was taken into custody in what would be the year long and horrific Sith occupation of Commenor.

Rallying as many Allies to his cause, Veiere Arenais managed to gain a large enough army to retaliate against the Empire; The second great Rebellion of Commenor. Supported by the Order of the Silver Jedi, The Alliance-in-Exile, the Outer Rim Coalition and Independent forces of the Mandalorian Empire, the counter-attack against the Occupying Sith Presence forced them to retreat back to Sith Space with a significant portion of Commenor's minerals and resources. Munto City had been devastated by the Sith Fleet, eight million lives taken in a single strike. The Capital, Chasin City was in tatters and the Commenor Systems Alliance was unable to recover. The Legacy of House Arenais had been brought to it's knees.

Over a decade has passed since then and the former Queen was used as a scapegoat following the world's recovery, convicted of war crimes and atrocities formerly undertaken during the influence of Darth Prazutis and the Dark Side of the Force. She was found guilty and sentenced to Prison; Kay's whereabouts today are not publicly known. Veiere Arenais however moved to strike a deal with the Order of the Silver Jedi whom agreed to take Commenor into their influence with Darlyn Excron as the new President. Veiere Arenais was later slain at the hands of Darth Prazutis during the Battle of Bimmisaari.

In the hope that enough time has passed for the people of Commenor to have moved on from the atrocities suffered during the leadership of House Arenais, Caedyn Arenais who serves under the Silver Jedi Order as a Jedi Knight has discretely moved to establish a homestead and estate for his family in memory and recognition of the past. While his Parents intentions were pure, nothing in his and his Sister's life had gone according to their plans. Commenor however still holds a dear place in his heart, and so his returning home was always in the back of his mind and plans for the future.
