CHAPTER ONE
~
LOVE & FAMILY

Long, dark eyelashes slowly fluttered open at the sound of a rooster crowing. It was daybreak as the sun began to rise on the eastern horizon and illuminate the sleepy farm lands of Taanab. It was the dawn of a new day; one closer to the day two little souls would take in their first breathes of life that she and [member="Kahne Porte"] had created. Alex caressed her swollen belly lovingly. The twins were hungry as the two babies inside her womb moved about in the cramped space; tiny sharp elbows and knees letting her know they were very much there.

"Okay, my little ones... Mommy will get up," the brunette chuckled softly before throwing back the covers and rolling to her side to push up from the bed.

It wasn't that Alexandra didn't enjoy being pregnant, but... the changes in her body, well they were hard to get used to and relished the day she would have her old self back. Dressed in clothes that befitted her stage of pregnancy, she headed down to the kitchen to prepare a healthy breakfast... Which unfortunately meant no caf for the mother-to-be! It was the one thing that the former Rogue truly missed having to give up and couldn't wait to indulge in once again.

Well that wasn't true. The Taanabian longed more for her fiancé, who had been away on a Jedi mission for some time now. Hopefully Kahne had gotten her message that she had moved back to her homeworld from Monastery. Separation was something the two lovers were accustomed to, but now with the upcoming birth of their children, Alex wanted, no needed, the Master Jedi to be with her or at least closer to home; their home together as a family, which she had not had since the tragic day that the young teenager at the time had been orphaned. The sentiment meant a lot to her.

A ship flew over head crossing the Russo farm and heading towards the docking area for his shuttle. Kahne took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as Gala let loose a series of beeps and whistles and he just smirked. "Yes I know." Kahne stood up just before he tapped the button to release the landing pad, the Jedi Master reached for his bag and slung it over his shoulders and walked down the ramp. His feel hit the earth and he just let out a small sigh as that breeze first hit him. He hadn't been with Alexandra as much as he wanted too, and as much as he should have been. On that part he felt bad and was a little disappointed in himself, however the Jedi in him was telling him that this was their life. And they had to make the best of it.

Kahne glanced to either side of his as the wind was blowing rather nicely as he walked down the dirt road that led to the Russo house and the Jedi smiled as he could feel the presence of his wife and of his unborn children. It didn't take long for him to close the distance to the front door and he watched as the door slid open and he stood inside the house for a moment. "Nice..." Kahne said with a small chuckle as the bag slid off of his shoulder and he placed it against the wall on the floor. Gala sped past him and was just rotating in circles, no doubt happy to be here.

"Sweetheart, you here?" Kahne called out softly.

Alexandra only knew too well who's ship that was which flew overhead, and the pilot/mechanic knew the sound of those engines like the man who was behind the controls; most intimately from her time spent making sure they both purred like a kitten.

It was hard to figure out who was more excited the woman who loved [member="Kahne Porte"] with all her heart, or his two children squirming with delight within their mother's womb that their daddy was home. Hopefully they wouldn't get too overly rambunctious in there. Twin babies tended to come earlier her doctor warned than just one so Alexandra was taking things easier as of late during the final weeks of pregnancy. Too much stress, over exertion or excitement could make the first time mom go into labor. The babes needed to 'cook in the oven' as long as possible to give them the best possible chance at being healthy at birth.

"I'm out on the veranda, Kahne!" the brunette answered back as she heard the Jedi Master's familiar voice call out from inside the farm house. It was a gorgeous spring day and who wouldn't want to sit in the shade on a lounger and look out at the beautiful green countryside of Taanab. Well, that is when her brandy brown eyes weren't closed as a mid afternoon nap attack had commenced after lunch.

That voice was something he could never get tired of hearing, except maybe when she was upset. And to that last remark he chuckled lightly as he placed his bag on the chair in the family room and made his way out towards the veranda. It was a beautiful place out here, he couldn't help but wonder why he wasn't here so often. The smell, wind, birds, the flowers dancing with the wind every time a gust swept up around the area.

And most of all Alexandra was here and he needed to see that more, he wouldn't be going anywhere for a very long time.

He caught sight of her and a smile showed across his face as he gently moved up behind her and his arms gently wrapped around her. "My love..." He whispered as he leaned in and kissed the side of her cheek. He then did not waste any time as he knelt down slightly and placed to kisses where his children were.

"Hey guys, sorry I'm late." He smiled before standing up and facing Alexandra again. "Forgive my stubbornness my love, while the galaxy does need a certain Jedi Master, you three need me here more."

"Kahne!" Alex reveled with joy as the man's embrace and kiss warmed her heart. "Oh how I've missed you so."

The brunette didn't mean to cry, but nonetheless tears flooded her brandy eyes at the sight of the absent Naboo paying attention to his offspring that were growing safely within her. Alexandra's hand reached out and cupped the Master Jedi's dark head tenderly as he placed feathered kissed upon her swollen belly. The babies seemingly came alive and squirmed within their confines of the womb as he did.

"And the children too," she smiled happily as the Jedi Master rose up and stood before her; blue and brown orbs gazing lovingly and longingly at each other. Hope was rekindled.

"There is nothing to forgive, sweetheart. Your work is important, but I am glad you're here now. Time is ticking down to when we will greet our little ones," the very pregnant Taanabian said with both excitement and trepidation, though the latter was kept to a minimum especially now that [member="Kahne Porte"] was home. She would not have to face this monumental life step by herself though Alleycat had never shied away from a challenge before. It was just comforting to know they would do this together.

Alexandra leaned in, setting her hand upon his chest to keep her balance while placing a tender yet needy kiss upon her fiancé's lips, then she pulled back slowly allowing her gaze to look him over.

"You look well, though tired.... Are you hungry? I can fix you something to eat."

Kahne couldn't help but feel a tinge guilt as he looked into the eyes of Alexandra. Tears that had flown as his hands rested on her cheeks and his thumbs easily swept them away. Whether be happiness to see him, he partially felt it was because he had been gone for so long. However he wasn't going to linger on that, guilt wasn't something Kahne played with. Hope was something ever present in his life and that was what kept him going this long, and the three other individuals in his life. She spoke of nothing to forgive, and that brought more closure to his guilt.

The Jedi Master could feel the heartbeats of his children and they seemed excited, or so that was the message that he had received from them. "They are so strong Alexandra. I love them so much already, as much as they love you too." Kahne said with a small smile on his face.

Kahne shook his head slightly as he glanced off towards the fields then looked back to her. "I'm find, a bit tired but I'll be okay. You should get off of your feet. Let's sit down, shall we?" Kahne inquired as he wrapped his arm around her and gave her a small kiss on the side of her head.

[member="Kahne Porte"]'s outwardly expressed sentiment about how much he already loved their unborn children made tears of joy refill her eyes. It seemed the mother to be's hormones were all over the place since her beloveds arrival... Well Alex's emotions had been so in general during the last nine months. It was to be expected said the pregnancy books, but the lack of control bothered her to no end.

"Yes... The doctor reassures me the twins appear to be strong and healthy for this stage of the game," she nodded with a small smile.

The former fighter pilot had always been able to keep cool under fire so to speak with emotions carefully tucked away... Fear and self-doubt she would/could be a good mother crept sometimes into Alex's consciousness at her most vulnerable times. As of late it had been during the night time hours when sleep eluded the Taanabian mostly because she was uncomfortable, but probably more so from the lonesomeness and constant worrying about her fiancé if he was okay and so far, far away from them.

Alexandra followed the Master Jedi's eyes as he looked away, then back again. She could always tell when he wasn't telling her the whole truth. It might be correct from a certain point of view, but still... a woman's intuition usually was spot on.

"The patio swing over there is quite comfy, and the motion seems to calm the sometimes overzealous babies... Something to keep in mind for the future when they are cranky and keeping you up all night, hmm?" Alex quipped lightly with a playful wink, then she pulled the dark-haired Jedi Master along with her to the cushioned swing with a canopy.

"So tell me of your adventures since we last spoke.... I feared you weren't getting my messages or visa versa. Rusty told me not to worry so much because Gala was taking care of you."

Alexandra telling him of the reassurance from he doctor was always more than enough to calm Kahne, while he felt through the force that everything was fine. Something could always go wrong, that was the way of the world. Kahne glanced over towards the swing she indicated and nodded his head. She spoke of him being up late at night, when the children are born. The Jedi chuckled and nodded his head. "Perhaps your right, I"m sure those will be the best nights of our lives." Being a Jedi and as strong in the force as he was. There was certain times when he could call upon the gift of foresight, and while he hadn't told Alexandra what he had seen. It was nothing to be worried about, but rather something to be joyous about.

Everything was going to be fine.

Kahne stretched a bit and then took a seat next to his fiancee. "Adventures, well nothing out of the ordinary. Well perhaps something quite big did happen." Kahne chuckled lightly as he thought about it. "It was something I dreamed about. There was a battle and a lot of people died. A battle with gods and....." The Jedi glanced over to her and just shook his head. "It was a crazy experience. However an old padawan of mine was there, and she's an old friend so it didn't take long for me to help."

"What about you, how has the galaxy treated you in my absence." Kahne inquired as he leaned in and placed a series of kisses on her face. One starting with her forehead, then leading to her cheek and then finally the last on her lips.

Alexandra smiled at [member="Kahne Porte"]'s mention they would be the best nights of their lives. That was the hope anyway; together as a family.

The brunette sat with the Jedi Master on the cushioned swing, pillowing her dark head upon Kahne's shoulder and resting her hand upon his thigh lovingly; the other hand naturally setting atop of her swollen belly in a caressing manner.

"Sounds like one of your crazy dreams coming true. You have a very intuitive imagination," Alex replied with mirth, then perked up when the Jedi said he'd aided one of his old padawans.

"Oh... Samara?" That was the young girl Alexandra had met on Monastery. She knew there had a been a couple of others in his past, but their names eluded her in that moment, and for good reason.

Kahne's trail of tender kisses adorned upon her face made the Taanabian melt like chocolate in desert heat. She had so missed the Naboo and his sweet touches. Their long separation had greatly made her heart fonder.

"I've been helping Queen Organa of Alderaan with the refugee aid movement.... You're making out with an ambassador now," Alex grinned as brandy-colored eyes danced with mischief, then she pulled her fiancé back in for another kiss.

The Jedi chuckled slightly as he stared out towards the fields and even as he looked over to Alexandra and also where her kids lay growing. He wasn't expecting his life to turn out this way, and he was truly glad that it did. Kahne shook his head when she mentioned Samara. "It wasn't her. Someone else I met way before I met Samara." Kahne smirked slightly as his thoughts drifted to Samara and he wondered what she was doing. Kahne felt that she was doing well, and he was quite glad that she had found her place in the galaxy.

"Oh, an Ambassador huh?" Kahne said with a slight chuckle, as she kissed him and he returned her kisses just as much. The Jedi missed her so much, and that was only evident the more he was here in her presence.

"Well try not to tell anyone that this happened." Kahne said with a small chuckled as he leaned in for a longer more loving kiss.

This was truly home for him, and he wasn't planning on leaving for a good long while.

Three weeks later....

At first Alexandra thought she was just having a bad case of indigestion from the rather spicy dinner her and Kahne had shared that evening, but antacids did nothing to make the annoying discomfort go away. She went to bed early thinking getting a good nights sleep would be the trick, then her back began to ache making the brunette toss and turn trying to get comfortable - not.

Not wanting to wake her husband to be as the Jedi Master seemed in blissful peace as he lay quietly on his side of their king size bed, the Ambassador got up and went downstairs. Alexandra spent some time going over reports on the joint humanitarian relief efforts Alderaan and Taanab were facilitating together, but the feeling she needed to get up and move made her take a walk outside to the grounds around the farmhouse.

The back pain seemed to ease though now the mother to be started to have intermittent moments of abdominal unease. The babies seemed to be picking on her with head butts to her bladder and roundhouse kicks to her liver. They were rambunctious little ones, but so much more this night.

Wanting to be productive at least while not sleeping, the master gardener stopped at the shed near her rose garden and grabbed a pair of clippers and a bucket to put the deadheads into, then proceeded to work in the full moon's light through the rows of multi-colored flower bushes. Alexandra was nearly done when a huge pain doubled her over, then wetness splashed down her bare legs under her nightgown that was covered with a bathrobe.

"Ughhhhh..... " Alex groaned as realization set in what was happening. "Breath, just breath," she told herself as a huge twinge across her swollen abdomen started.

After the contraction was over or what she thought it was, the brunette made her way inside the house, noting the time on the cooking unit's chrono in the kitchen, then walked up the back stairs slowly to the master bedroom down at the end of the hall.

"Kahne," she spoke softly at first from the side of the bed, not wanting to startle the man.

But when he didn't respond back, Alexandra spoke again shaking his shoulder gently. "Kahne, sweetheart. Wake up, please."

Another couple of moments went by and nothing, then another twinge, more powerful than before, began to rack her body. My gods, what was the man dreaming about that the Master Jedi didn't realize the mother of his children was in labor!

This time she tapped hard, okay maybe punched to a degree was a better description of the action. What?!

"[member="Kahne Porte"], wake up.... It's time. Babies are coming!" Alex said in an excited yet pained voice before breaking into the patterned breathing learned during a birthing class she'd taken.

The three weeks that had passed, passed by rather quickly. Much faster than Kahne would've anticipated and still no babies had come yet. Nonetheless he cherished this time he had with Alexandra as they bonded during this time and their relationship had grown much stronger than before as did their babies grow strong. However the longer his time with the trio the more his dreams had become slightly strange. He envisioned his family but also envisioned darker things that seemed crazy. It wasn't until he heard Alexandra's voice again as he awoke with a sudden gasp that shook his from his current state.

He looked to her and realized that the babies were coming and he closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. "Alright, I'm up." Kahne said easily enough as he got out of bed and motioned for Gala to do what they had discussed when this moment came. The Medical center would be alerted and they would arrive within due time to transport Alexandra to where she needed to go. They had a few overnight bags packed for this situation when it arose. The Jedi Master held on to Alexandra as good as he could as he would escort her to the family room as he sense the emergency services were closing in and with good response time.

"Everything's going to be alright, Alexandra." Kahne said as he gave her a kiss on side of her cheek.

She hated that he was so damn calm. It was down right maddening, though truly it was comforting to have [member="Kahne Porte"], the love of her life, by her side. The Taanabian hoped the Jedi Master would forgive her for all the not so nice words spoken during labor and practically breaking his hand as increasing contractions gave away to vice grips. Alexandra didn't like not being in control and right now two individuals had all the power over her body.

"Okay, again. Breathe, bare down, and pushhhhhh....... " The doctor's voice was really starting to grate on her already frayed nerves.

If only... Alex thought, wistfully wanting, wishing, needing her long lost mother to be present this day; helping her, guiding her, mothering her.

A cruel set of circumstances had cheated Alexandra from that right of passage when her whole family was killed in a pirate raid all those years ago. This was something only mothers and daughters could share in; the bringing of life to their children. Fathers and those-to-be shared in a different way as they had not carried the child for nine months. It was a monumental moment for them as well, but there was just a special maternal bond that never could be totally broken.

Primordial groans came out of brunette as the first of the twin babies arrived. In this moment taking on a whole wing of TIE fighters by herself would have been more preferable, less strenuous not to mention painful than giving birth to a wee bitty, little thing with a big head?!

A slap, then a healthy cry brought tears of joy and relief to Alexandra's brandy brown orbs. They replaced the previous ones of all the pain and desperation of the onerous labor. A tender look was shared briefly with Kahne (Alex couldn't of loved him more in that moment) before he so proudly, as any new father would do, cut the cord of his first born - a son, then another contraction started up... Number two was on her way. She would be a stubborn one, just like her mom.

It didn't take too long before everything began to unravel and unwind. It seemed as if an eternity had flown by and it was only just a few short hours. Jedi were often bestowed upon the gift of foresight, in his opinion a strong yet uncontrollable force ability. It would give one the ability to look towards the future, and while that was something that was good in some cases, others it could be disastrous to them. Kahne had seen this moment over and over in his mind and while it happened it seemed so surreal, the fact that he was going to be a father was still new to him. The Jedi knew that the road ahead would indeed be fraught with peril, pain, love, and hope. He knew that past that was the future worth fighting for, fear was before them, and the greatest things in life were place on the other side of fear.

Hearing the cry of his first child brought an incredibly happy mood and smile to his eyes as the baby was cleaned and while the squeezing of his hand from his love wasn't to bad, he also awaiting the arrival of his daughter, to which he was equally as happy. No tears were shed by the Jedi Master, as anything sort of emotion that could be seen was pure happiness. And if no one could see that, then they were blind as could be. The Jedi Master kissed his fiancee and it wasn't before long that the Jedi Master was holding his son in his hands and Alexandra was holding their daughter.

Kahne looked down at his son and he just chuckled lightly as his son's eyes opened for a brief moment and their gaze locked for a few precious moments, and it was in that instance that the Jedi Master was more than sure that he saw a brief smile. "I saw that kiddo." Kahne whispered to him before he looked over to Alexandra. "Aiden...." He showed a smile. "What do you think about Aiden for his name?" Kahne inquired.

Hope is the elixir of life. (semi-retired)
The healthy cry of their daughter as the second Russo-Porte child followed her older brother into the world just shy of five minutes gave Alexandra peace of mind. It had been a long nine months, but was so worth the wait. Though in truth, the most rewarding yet hard part was just starting, or so Alex had been told by the Queen of Alderaan as the two women had become good friends through their humanitarian work with the refugee movement.

The exhausted brunette laid her dark head back upon the stacked pillows on the hospital bed and closed her eyes for a moment while the medical personnel tended to the two newborns, and the rest of the delivery; tears of pain had changed to those of joy by now. She was tired and sore, but very happy.

A soft tap on her shoulder brought the new mother out of the much needed respite, brief as it was though, to find a nurse holding a bundled baby with a pink knitted hat atop its head. Alexandra extended her arms with nervous anticipation, then took the offered baby girl into her arms to cuddle.

"Hello my precious little girl. I'm your mommy... And over there is your daddy with your brother," Alex whispered lovingly, tracing a finger tenderly down over the softness of the newborn's cheek.

It was a moment she'd never forget just as [member="Kahne Porte"] had most likely experienced when he first got to hold their son. Oh the emotions rushing over her, it was almost too much to handle, but embrace she would. A renewed hope was born this day.

Alexandra raised her hand up and wiped the moisture that had come from her brandy brown eyes, then gazed over to where the Jedi Master was. She reached out and touched their son's cheek as well. There was so much love in her eyes for him as well; for both the men in her life.

"Aiden... Yes, I like that name for him," Alex smiled in easy agreement with the dark-haired Naboo, then she was thoughtful a moment. They had tossed around names for twins after Kahne had returned home, but hadn't decided on any firmly prior to D-day.

"Hmm.. How about Addison for our little princess here?"

Kahne looked over at Addison and he don't his smile could've gotten any bigger. "Addison is perfect." Apart from finding the love of his life, this was one of the happiest moments in his life. "My sweet girl." The Jedi Master said as he looked at Addison for a few moments and then looked to Alexandra. "Both of you." Kahne winked towards Alexandra before his eyes moved back toward Aiden staring at the little boy for a few moments before. Hope, it was essential part in Kahne's life, and he would do his best to impart that onto his children, as well as his fiancee. The Jedi Master took a deep breath as he his mind began to search and look ahead, wondering what awaited them, knowing that whatever it was they would do their best to face it together.

********
The time that had followed had been something surreal, and also an eye opener to the Jedi Master. His long break had been well spent as he was integrated away from the Jedi life style for the past several months and into a loving father as he felt he always would be. Changing, cleaning, bathing his children and just holding them in his arms, hearing them speak their first words. Well what sounded like words to the father of two, it could've been just gibberish. Since the moment they were born he was crazy about them. Aiden was a handful, he always had the knack to get his fathers attention, quite easily. And Addison always seemed to just give Kahne a sweet look and he was then holding both children in his arms. If anyone had seen this from the outside they wouldn't have believe it as much as Kahne was giving these two little ones.

Having Alexandra their was the greatest of blessings it seemed like. The true love of his life and the mother of his children. He owed much to Alexandra, for giving him her whole heart, as well as giving him the children. They were doing this, together. While in truth they had not been married yet, however they still had time.

Sunlight had slowly crept into their room, and just before the first light from sun hit Kahne's face he was already awake with a small smirk. He heard from afar, and from the monitor as well the sounds of rustling and the sounds of his son awake, and small cute coos and sounds come from his son. Almost as if he was signifying for his father to come and play with him. Addison was sound asleep, he could sense through the force. She was the calm one it seemed like to him anyway. She had her mothers looks and he was sure she was going to have her mothers attitude as well.

Before Kahne moved to get up he rolled over slightly and his arm wrapped around Alexandra giving her a series of kisses along the back of her neck towards her bare shoulder. "Alexandra...." Kahne whispered while trying to suppress a small grin. "You awake sweetheart?"

Hope is the elixir of life. (semi-retired)
The last several months had been the happiest period of Alexandra's life thus far. The Taanabian had the love of her life living their shared dream by her side, and two beautiful children they created out of that love with them. It was almost like a fairy tale. The brunette sometimes had to pinch herself to make sure these moments were for real... They most definitely were and for that Alex would thank the stars and heavens above for this grace bestowed upon her and [member="Kahne Porte"]. The Jedi Master and the Rogue, well Ambassador now, were truly blessed. Hope was indeed alive and well within the walls of the Russo-Porte household on Taanab as it was.

Alexandra was blissfully unaware that Aiden was awake in his crib or that Addison was slumbering peacefully just like her mother. She hadn't fully embraced the potential of being Force Sensitive as of yet; just discovered for the first time when Alex became pregnant with the twins. Kahne had taught her a few things about the Force, but for the most part Alex was choosing to live her life as she had the twenty-eight years prior. Perhaps someday she'd train in the Jedi arts like her fiancé was, but for now she was content just to be her.

Those warm and tantalizing lips leaving a trail of good morning kisses upon her bare skin made the brunette stir with a sleepy smile gracing her face as it could only be one person attached to them. Alexandra turned her dark head back towards the Naboo as brandy brown eyes fluttered opened slowly to find Kahne smiling almost devilishly down at her; last night's private activities flashing through her mind as well as her body still singing praises for him even at this hour.

"Yes, I am now... " Alex answered with quiet amusement, then turned around in his embrace, wrapping a tone arm and leg about the man's equally unclothed fit body under the covers as they lay on their sides now facing one another. "I see you're awake too," she smirked subtly, followed by a soft kiss to those scoundrel lips of his.

"So what shall we do today, handsome?"

She turned to face him he smiled and a small chuckle followed as she wrapped her leg and arm around him. The last few months had been absolutely incredible for a various number of reasons. The love of his life next to him every night for the past months has been amazing, and even getting up frequently through the nights to tend to their little ones.

"Aiden's awake" Kahne said with a small chuckle. "I believe he's just laying in his bed. Addison is still asleep." Kahne smirked as he leaned in and kissed her lips, a trail of kisses from their down her neck as he relished in the fact that he had been able to wake up next to her every day thus far. He retreated back up to face her again before giving her a small wink. "You did a good job." Kahne pulled her closer to him as he laid on his back. The Jedi Master pondered what they could do for the day.

"We could take the children to the hilltop, perhaps have a lunch there? Or we could just stay in and do whatever comes to mind."

Oh how [member="Kahne Porte"] could make this Taanabian's engine purr...

A little moan hissed from her lips as man ceased his loving ministrations.

"Of course Aiden is... He's your son after all," Alex chuckled softly. "And thanks, sweetheart. That means a lot. You are doing a great job too. Fatherhood really agrees with you," she complimented with all due sincerity as the Jedi Master laid onto his back.

Alexandra followed as the Naboo pulled her with him, rolling atop of Kahne, There was a mischievous look etched behind those brandy brown orbs of hers. The Jedi would know what his fiancé was thinking. They were making up for lost time.

"Well... " Alex smiled, then leaned in and kissed his lips with definite passion infused. "I..." she continued down his jaw to the man's ear giving the lobe a gentle suck. "Think...." The brunette moved downward to his bare chest, catching the anticipation in his baby blues. Alleycat smirked. Men?!

"Your first suggestion will do nicely for later with the kids, but for now... " she waggled her sienna brows at Kahne and placed a little more seductive kiss a bit lower than before. "Let's just stay in our bed as long as we possibly can, hmm?"

Alexandra didn't hear any objections...

---

The hilltop was a grand place to have a family picnic. The view was spectacular of the lush Taanab valley. Rolling farmland could be seen for miles with a mountain range in the far distance. Little white fluffy clouds were scattered across the otherwise sunny blue sky, The temperature was perfect with a slight breeze to cool the heat of the mid-day.

Alexandra carried the twins up to the grassy knoll in a front/back twin baby carrier while Kahne brought along the picnic basket and diaper bag. He really was a good sport about doing that. They walked hand in hand like they didn't have a care in the world... with only hope and happiness filling their hearts and minds. Again, Alex needed to pinch herself this was all real. It actually made her a bit nervous though... half expecting the other shoe to drop any minute.

But for now though... the four members of the Russo-Porte family would enjoy these precious moments for what they were worth and meant to be. Alexandra was so glad she had taken the risk of loving again... Her home was were the heart beckons, and it was with no other than with the man walking beside her and their two children.

The remaining moments that were spent in the bed as Alexandra had so delicately spoke of what was desired. Kahne just chuckled lightly and there wasn't any objections from him. The delicate kissed placed seductively so at her earlobe and further down and only verified how much he loved his woman.

They got ready for the lunch festivities they had planned, which didn't take too long after they got out of bed and showered and tended to the children beforehand. Aiden was being spoiled as usual, Addison not so much as she just seemed to flash a smile at Kahne as often as she could as if signifying that she was the 'good' one.

Kahne was calmer than usual which really said something about the nature of his sight during this time of peace that he was experiencing with Alexandra and their little ones. His facial features had appeared more relaxed and when he spoke his voice wasn't as stern but more easy going then before. However he knew that once something sparked up again, everything would return to normal.

The Jedi gave Alexandra's hand a small squeeze as they neared their location and once reached their Kahne took a deep breath as he glanced around for a moment before he began to get things unpacked and he laid the blanket down then reached for Addison and took her in his arms. Kahne smirked as a big smile came across her face and he just leaned in and kissed her cheek while he tickled her neck slightly and the giggles that came from her made him laugh out loud, which was probably the first time Kahne had ever done that truly as open as he was now.

"Your crazy kid,you know that?" Kahne smiled as he looked down at Addison for a few moments before he gave her a small hug. The Jedi looked over to Alexandra. "This was a good idea."
