Xazzex chuckled softly, as their golden eyes held on one another. Rather than try to turn things around to get her answer first, the Falleen accepted Zenva's proposal. Life was a negotiation with little time to weigh all the variables, and with surprising stakes at times. The Zabrak might be amused for now, but part of every good interaction was an exchange -- to make people want to come back for more. It remain a curiosity why she cared this time, but there it was.

"Literally,"
the Falleen paused for just a second with a smile on her lips, "it loses something in the translation. It means, my better half." No one said embellishment was a sin when it came to a compliment. Even if they did, she had plenty of sins to her account. There were differing Basic translations, of course; the most common was 'my other half' as she'd said, but another was 'partner in crime.' Zenva would probably grasp the meaning easily enough, but it did lose something in the translation when it wasn't between Falleen.

A slight raise in the emerald brow followed suit, quite interested to hear what Zenva had to say for herself or her native tongue. Xazzex had high expectations. If it was merely a platonic greeting for such a dexterous tongue that would be unfortunate -- fortunately, though she didn't know it yet, such poor reception was not meant to be.
