STRENGTHS

• True Modularity: The HMR-07 is designed as a 'jack-of-all-trades' weapon capable of being changed on the fly to fit any need the user may have. This vast flexibility means that a soldier can fill a myriad of roles without needing to carry extra kit or swap weapons frequently.

WEAKNESSES

• Bulky: The HMR-07 is quite large compared to other blaster rifles due to the internal mechanisms needed to function as three different kinds of weapon. This bulk makes can make it unwieldy, especially for those untrained with the weapon.

DESCRIPTION

One of the first line of weapons produced by Bela Vistal Armory was the Heritage Model line, taking recognizable weapons from history and updating them for the modern age. One of their first breakout successes would be the HMR-07 "Commando", a recreation of the DC-17m. It found wide usage across the more elite sections of the CDF following the Plane Shift. The weapon's modularity and impressive capabilities in each role made it a go-to for small squad infantry who require flexibility over streamlined precision. Since its widespread adoption by the CDF it has also begun to leak into the public market, typically in the hands of collectors or Clone Wars era enthusiasts.
