Spreading a sense of warmth and welcoming throughout the valley where the waters seep up into the roots of the trees and grasses. The nexus doesn't alter much but it does react in some ways giving a calming aura and soothing the tensions of the mind.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Xiāntáo grove: One of the primary signs of the nexus itself. The large plums that grow within the valley and near the waters are full of life and delicious.
Bamboo Forests: Rich in greens and where the wukong reside. The forests are actually one but scattered throughout the valley and between the trees themselves. Cultivated by one of the lords in Atrisias past they were made to obscure the small village near the center of the valley.
Suijin: A small village within the valley that was on the edge of the forest and springs. Uninhabited now but once long ago populated until the people disappeared.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
There is not much known about the Hiei springs. The empress of Chitei revealed the valley when visited as a sort of quid pro quo with the Atrisian royal family when they discovered her world. The Agora valley was then briefly explored finding Fan Ming and what few force sensitives she had been able to rescue from Jar'kai. Fleeing the destruction they traveled towards what they had thought was another lightside force users coming into the valley and finding shelter until they were rediscovered.
What information they were able to get from the village and temple ruins pointed to longer ago in Atrisias history when the first ships were being used and explorers brought back oddities, creatures, plants or trinkets. Things from their ventures out. One was an albino sapling from the world of Kashyyyk that was planted. The man who had wealth used everything he had to build the tunnels that go throughout the valley branching onto a natural cave system and water way.
With the water there to feed the trees and plants. He made the village of Suijin to retire and be his home bringing his family. Each member of the clan helped build and cultivate the valley into something of beauty and isolated they could live out here. Discovering tombs in the mountains and for a few hundred years it at least seemed peaceful enough. The life around them infusing with the valleys water ad itself renewing and helping to grow the valley.
The feedback loop was created but it was never thought to become that strong as the clan as they passed on were cremated and their ashes spread into the valley. Eventually though the last perished when a smuggler ship crashed into he valley bringing with it ill begotten creatures. exotic tigers with horns from far off worlds, crystalline foxes that settled into the kyberite forest which had attracted the man to the valley.
The research teams who were sent into the valley after it rediscovery found little left of records, the paper was rotted and had been left to the elements. What remained they were able to find within the village itself showed the people lived peacefully and stayed here with few of the more modern amenities but they still had a ship at the far end in a cleared field. The valley after the people had perished continued to grow without aid.
That would explain why many areas of the valley seem overgrown and in a few of the passes it has started to spread out and break through the natural barriers of the valley. Trees and grasses slowly spread into the nearby mountains attracting more of the creatures who are drawn to potential food sources. The mist of the valley in the morning that rise off of the leaves of the trees obscure it from above which makes travel by airship harder.
