Name: Hershan Legath
Loyalties: Sith originally
Role: To be a Force ghost who Rafeesh uses the Force Walk on, his first attempt at it
Development Threads: Will be appearing in this thread if approved: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/62598-fear-not-the-dead-nor-the-damned/
Age: 53 at death
Species: Human
Force Sensitivity: Was fairly powerful
Appearance: Gracefully aged, grey hair, lithe body (though now she is a Force ghost so the color is all light bluish)
Personality: Insane, Aggressive
Weapon of Choice: The Force
Wealth: None
Combat Function: If Rafeesh is able to utilize the Force Walk properly then he will draw on her power to increase his own
Skills: No longer applicable, seeing as she is dead
Notable Possessions: Her holocron, which is just a story of her life
Other Notes: Hershan was a trained Sith from her teen years after she had been picked up by the Sith Empire during the Old Republic days. She a Sith Lord who taught at the Sith Academy, she had a distinct dislike for nonhumans. She actually met Rafeesh and predicted that he would die far from home all alone. She was a teacher in Sith politics and found that the evolution of the Sith Order was moving away from that which she preferred. She created a Holocron of her life and the teachings of the old Sith way. She died when the Academy was attacked by the Jedi during an invasion that took place at exactly the same time as the Sith attacked the Jedi Temple on Tython.

Intent: To create an NPC ghost for Rafeesh to try his newly learned skill on, as some people have suggested

Hi,

I'm afraid there are a number of queries and issues that I need to iron out due to the nature of what you're requesting:
  1. How has [member="Rafeesh"] gained the ability to force walk at such a low power level the wookie describes this power as one which requires immense strength of will and hints at the fact that use of the power kills many sith masters who try to bind a spirit?
  2. what other things do you hope to gain from such a powerful ghost?
As for the issues

  1. Rafeesh said:
    Force Sensitivity: Was fairly powerful
    - This should follow the standard rank structure, so this ghost seems by your submission to be master level.

  2. Rafeesh said:
    Personality: Insane, Aggressive
    - This isn't so much an issue as a point for consideration, force walking on a master level ghost will be hard enough, force walking and aggressive and insane will be even harder, additionally I need this bulking to a full paragraph, her hatred of non humans should be there also.

  3. Rafeesh said:
Skills: No longer applicable, seeing as she is dead
    - she would still have skills what can she teach? these are all skills.

  4. Rafeesh said:
Development Threads: Will be appearing in this thread if approved: http://starwarsrp.ne...nor-the-damned/
    - Given her nature as a master level force ghost I need a total of 50 posts directly related to Hershan, this can be completeed with multiple writers but the bulk of the work must come from Rafeesh.

I know this seems alot but the standard for an NPC like this has to be high

thanks,
Callum

Thank you for letting me know about this, [member="Lucien Cordel"]. I'll get to work on it.

Firstly Rafeesh gained the ability to Force Walk in the thread that was linked. I asked about practicing on ghosts and people simply stated that it was not a truly practicable skill. In this thread: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/67463-force-ghosts-suggestions/I was suggested to just NPC a ghost to attempt to take. It was stated that it would take some extra RPing, and I am fine with that.

My intent with this was to simply show that Rafeesh had the strength of will and power within the Force to bind a ghost. The reason I had placed the Force abilities as strong was simply because I remember reading that Sith version of Force ghosts were either bound to a particular place or had a very strong hatred. I assumed then that the person who became a Sith ghost would have to be quite powerful, is this incorrect? I was not certain as to what to create as a good show of ability.

With that in mind, what would you suggest I do?
I have not edited anything, yet, if you suggest I continue then I will commence with what you have pointed out.

Thank you for your time.

[member="Rafeesh"] [member="Lucien Cordel"]

I have considered this carefully, and I have decided I cannot allow this yet.

For an apprentice to deal with this sort of power is simply too much, let alone my scruples about having a master NPC be your 'level up buddy'.

So here's what we're going to do. Get Rafeesh to Knight, give me a good 50 post thread - either continuing the one linked above or another - and then PM me to get this sub back.

By that stage I think we will be in a position to have this allowed.

Bear in mind that whilst you can mention this submission in your dev thread you cannot use anything learned in it until this is approved.

If you have any questions, PM me.
