BIOGRAPHY:

Beginnings
Rafeesh was brought into the Jedi Order at standard age. He was trained normally and was unexceptional. He continued his training and was a padawan at the beginning of the Great Galactic War. He took part in the battle at Ord Radama, he was fortunate enough to escape with nothing worse than a scar left on his chest from a shrapnel thrown around while the Imperials bombarded the facility. His master at the time was not so lucky. Rafeesh returned to Coruscant to learn that his master would not return from the planet. Managing to conceal his anger, he nonetheless expressed his desire for revenge. Although the Jedi were cautious of his expressed feelings, they gave their consent he could return to the field after completing a rest period. A few days later he learned that a bit of the shrapnel had been left in his stomach and threatened to puncture his stomach lining. Although the doctors proclaimed it was a result of the earlier shrapnel, Rafeesh came to suspect it was the Jedi Masters trying to keep him from reentering the field longer. This required a month in a hospital far from the front.

When he came out he was in time to join a Jedi and Republic contingent to the planet Ord Radama. He aided in setting traps and other such that confounded Sith and Imperially invaders. He had seen Malgus through a macrobinocular and almost had a sniper try and take him out. But his position was attacked and he was the sole survivor of another single Sith. He defeated him and ran back to base. He spent most of his time on the planet helping as best he could at the main base. He was one of the first to be sent away when it became obvious that defeat was imminent. His ship was destined for Coruscant, but fate was on their side.

The transport was sent to Rhen Var to help the fight that was just beginning to turn around on the planet. He fought alongside a number of Jedi and even listened to a speech given by the famed Satele Shan. He helped take back the planet, leading a squad of men to fight many Sith alongside the rest of the Republic Forces. After this he was tasked with caring for the medical ships that shipped wounded soldiers to a small fleet nearby. He was helping move one of his squad men, who had lost a leg to a shell, when he heard of the attack on Coruscant.

At this point he was only twenty three years old. He felt great remorse and guilt at not having been on the Coruscant during the sacking. He mastered his emotions and was soon thereafter given a knighthood in the Jedi Order. His squad was given him as permanent command along with a second for temporary command with the possibility that they could stay.

Over the next five years he led his men into short skirmishes on Alderaan, Ord Mantel, and Balmorra. He proved himself very capable and was likely going to receive the title of Master within a decade. He gave his squads time to recuperate and returned to Tython for additional training. He returned to find that his squads had been ordered off to the frontlines on Hoth. He asked and was granted permission to rejoin with them.

His timing could not have been better. The small outpost had been under siege by pirates and they had almost given up hope. Remembering the words that Satele had spoken he rallied the remainder of the forces and led them to a victory. They drove the pirates from their hiding places before returning to their outpost. Unfortunately the damage was too great and they were forced to abandon it and head to the nearest way station.

They arrived in time to take part in the defense against an Imperial attack. However, the Republic forces were outnumbered almost fifteen to one. Rafeesh watched as more and more of his men were cut down. At last he ordered a retreat, staying behind to hold off the Sith. The only survivors were his men, the beginning squad that he had been given. He was defeated easily by the Sith, however they did not kill him. Instead they took him to Dromund Kaas for an altogether more unsavory fate.

The Turning

Rafeesh found himself a captive in a Sith prisoner on the capital. At first it was only Sith who came to see him, but as time went on Imperial Intelligence agents also tried to extract information. Between the torture and the taunts of the Sith, Rafeesh's emotions broke their confines and he proved to be more powerful than they had assumed. He tried to call upon the light to save him, but was only answered with darkness. Rafeesh was turned in that dingy cell.

He was taken to Korriban to begin his training as Sith. He became a very strong Sith. His specific area was combating Jedi and bringing them back to be turned. He was particularly effective at this, it becoming his most well known trait. He met a fellow apprentice under his master, she was a rare Togrutan named Shanna Yehsha. She spent more time as a artifact hunter, she was very in tune with the Force. The duo were often sent on missions together, Rafeesh to hunt down a Jedi or to protect Yehsha, Shanna to collect Jedi artifacts or to hunt down something their master wanted.

While they at first often came to loggerheads, as time went on and after missions to Quesh and Alderaan among others, the two became quite attached. A relationship blossomed between the two Sith and they found themselves more and more often being assigned together. They assumed it was fate, not their master's manipulation.

They were sent on a mission to break into a Jedi archive on Alderaan. The two of them were sent in alone, wishing to avoid it looking like an actual attack. Rafeesh was quick to remove any threats while Shanna began collecting the records that they were searching for. Rafeesh was caught off-guard when a security team seemingly came out of nowhere, they were led by the sergeant of his old Republic squad. Rafeesh again kept the soldiers busy, allowing Shanna time to finish her mission and escape. Rafeesh had the upper hand and he soon had the enemies at his mercy. But he couldn't bring himself to kill his friends. He turned his back on them to leave. It was a mistake.

He was captured quickly, the squad's leader using a stun baton. Rafeesh was once more a prisoner. He was going to be shipped offworld and taken to Coruscant where he would face trial and probably be executed or sent to Belsavis. However, the prison ship was attacked just outside of the planet's gravity well. A Sith infiltration vessel had attached once they had left the atmosphere and Yehsha along with two Sith apprentices helped Rafeesh escape. On the way out they set the ship to self-destruct to remove most of the evidence that it was a Sith attack.

Upon returning to Korriban with Shanna, he learned that his master had volunteered him to help with a scientific endeavor. They were trying to perfect a stasis chamber, based on a similar Rakata design collected from Belsavis. They had need of test subjects. At first it was simply seeing effects of various types of suspended animation on the body. Some subjects died, Rafeesh was fortunate. As time went on the scientists narrowed their field to cryogenic stasis. Rafeesh appeared to be the strongest of the patients, he was subjected to the most experimental forms of stasis.

It took almost a month before they had fully figured out the chamber. They created a single prototype and Rafeesh was often put in there. First it was only minutes, to make certain that his body wasn't adversely affected by the cryo. Then they began to put him in for days at a time. Once the prototype passed a few glitches they decided to put him in for a week. However his master had other plans. The Sith put the cryo chamber onto a ship that was his own personal vessel. He kept many of his prized possessions there and he intended on leaving Rafeesh there until he needed him again.

This was not his destiny however, as the Republic attacked the ship and it was damaged and left floating as space debris. As if by the Force, Rafeesh's containment area and its solar panels were the largest piece to survive. He floated through space for almost four millennia before an Imperial Star Destroyer found the salvage and a Moff kept the stasis chamber and its contents as a prize. He wouldn't be able to savor it long either however. His ship was damaged beyond repair and all its passengers, but one, died.

The new wreckage floated for about half a millennia before a salvager found it and helped Rafeesh escape.

After awakening, Rafessh has found himself without memory of his past. This rarely concerns him, as he quickly found work as a dock worker on Naboo. His life is fairly uninteresting and he is fully unaware of his potential. He has no great aspirations, although his imagination does tend to run away from him when he studies. His highest hope at this point is to become a designer for modernized plant equipment that would make the plant more efficient and hopefully safer.
