I am not to sure what kind of character I will be creating, I have a little brainstorming to do. Lol

Well, I never roleplayed a Sith nor a force-user, So I can't help much on that side, but it's best to check the array of factions of this world. Many of them have detailed info in their discussion board, and it'll ease the transition up

Adilynne Frose depending on the type of assassin, sneaky and up close, poisoning, ranged it can vary... but there are always some good things to get

There's some that have more history than others, it just depends on what you want and how much reading you want to do. Just stick with what you think is cool or are comfortable with for now, you can always expand later!

Adilynne Frose what Darth Strosius said do what is comfortable and learn them as you go. some worlds are cool and some you can learn about later. Worse case scenarion if you don't know just ask whoever you are writing and 99.999 percent of writers on chaos will be happy to link

Welcome! I really just want to echo what others have said about learning as you go. That's what I'm doing as the galaxy can be overwhelming. Particularly if you're new to forum roleplay too but you'll find your groove. Maybe I can help you when you're up to it!
