• The Height of Luxury: The Helios is designed as a ship for executive, diplomats and those with money, aiming to provide them with a premier travel experience.
 • Secure Communications: The Freyja Communications System allows the Helios to maintain secure communications, no matter if you're broadcasting diplomatic missives or sensitive company information. Even onboard the ship, the communications room provides a secure sound and bug proof room to speak in if required.
 • Heavily Automated: Due to the small size of the crew the Helios is heavily automated, using technology like the Skynet Holocontrol System to allow a few crew members to fill the roles of many.
 • Fast: The Helios aims to get you where you want to go fast and in comfort, with a faster than average hyperdrive and sublight engines it is able to get you to your destination fast, and just as importantly outrun any danger.

 • Weak Teeth: The Helios is not meant as a warship, and while it does carry quad laser turrets, these are primarily meant to hold off fighters and smaller fighters. They lack the missiles and heavy weapons that can be found on ships choosing to tangle with capital or heavily armed ships, instead of relying on its speed and manoeuvrability to outdistance any pirates that might jump it.
 • Small crew: The Helios is meant as a luxury yacht, designed for the comfort of its passengers above anything else, to this end much of the space that would be taken over by crew space has been used for the owner’s facilities. The Helios relies heavily on automation, allowing it to run with a smaller crew, but meaning if there is an emergency they have less crew to respond to it.
 • Limited cargo space: The Helios is not a cargo hauler, and while it does have a limited cargo hold it isn’t designed to carry vast amounts of goods. Instead, it’s mostly able to carry enough goods to sate the VIPs, supplies for their trip, and items they need to show at a business presentation.

The Helios is Locke and Key Mechanics foray into the luxury yacht market. Its slick smooth lines are those of a ship aimed at the top of the market, aimed at providing a home and office for any diplomat not matter where they might travel too. The ship is built over 3 levels, the lowest of which has the shuttle bay, cargo hold, entranceway and crew quarters. The second level is the VIP living area, with a large lounge and social area that takes up most of the deck, there are also 4 luxury bedrooms and a master suite as well as a gym/leisure area. The rooms are arranged around the large flat oval of the social area with the Master suite at one end of the oval and a large transparisteel wall at the other giving a view out to space, or any planet they might be on. The third deck contains the bridge and communications room, as well as 2 offices and a conference room. Travel between decks is primarily by turbolift, although there are maintenance ladders that allow egress between decks.
As befits a Luxury Yacht, everything about the Helios is constructed from the highest quality materials, from the sofas in the lounge to the consoles on the bridge. It's a showpiece of engineering and quality, designed to wow anyone who steps aboard.
Lower Deck
The Lower deck contains the majority of the crew's area, as well as the primary points of entry into the ship if it’s through the Shuttle Bay, the docking ring, or the Cargo Bay.
Infirmary
(What it looks like: DeviantArt)
The Helios contains a fully equipped medical bay, able to handle most situations short of a major surgery.
Crew Cabin
(What it looks like: Mass Effect 2 [x])
The Helios can be flown by a single pilot, but normally ships with a crew of between 4 and 12 people, including staff and flight crew. The Helios contains 2 crew cabins, each able to sleep 6 crew members comfortably, as well as provide them with an area to relax in without having to worry about any guests from stumbling across them and making their lives any harder.
Cargo Bay
The Helios contains a Cargo bay able to hold a small number of goods for trade, or for the use of the owners of the yacht.
Armoury
The Helios contains a small armoury containing a few weapons in case of boarding, the armoury also acts as the safe for the ship, providing secure storage for any valuables. The armoury can only be accessed by authorised individuals.
Shuttle Dock
The Helios contains a dock for a single Shuttle which can be stored internally, allowing the owner and their guests to travel back and forth to a planet or space station without having to land or dock the entire ship. By default, the Helios comes with a single Sterope-class Shuttle.
Second - VIP - Deck
Master Suite
(What it looks like: Mass Effect [x])
The luxuriously appointed master-suite is designed for the ship's owner, providing them with a sanctuary, a home away from home. By default, it is a comfortable room with leather seating and a large bed as well as a variety of storage options. On a ship, where storage and space are normally at a premium, the size of the suite sets the yacht out as a mark of true opulence.
4 Luxury Bedrooms
(What they look like: Mass Effect [x])
The luxury bedrooms are designed for guests or staff to spend their time. While not as luxurious as the master suite, they are larger and more comfortable than most shipboard living accommodations. Each room contains a comfortable bed as well as its own ensuite and a living/work area where people can work in peace and quiet, or communicate with family and colleagues.
Dining Room
(What it looks like: diningandlivingroom.com [x])
A private dining room with an adjoining kitchen, the Helios’ luxury dining experience is large enough to host a small dinner party. It was primarily designed to allow the VIPs travelling aboard to eat together, and so is set for a normal complement of 6-8 diners, which can be expanded up to 12. Anything larger would require the use of the conference room, or host the party off-ship.
Leisure facilities
When on long journeys, or spending any amount of time away from home it is important that you remain healthy, both mentally and physically. To that end, the Helios comes with a full set of leisure facilities, most importantly a gym with a small circular pool capable of providing a current to swim against for exercise, or providing the rich a place to relax in.
Lounge
(What it looks like: This Source: [x])
The lounge area is the heart of the VIP deck, a large oval-shaped room that contains comfortable seats, a bar area and a large holoprojector. This room is meant for socialising and relaxing, for the owner and his friends to spend the majority of their time on the ship in.
Top Deck
The Top deck of the ship is where they get work done, containing the bridge, communications room and the owner's offices and conference room.
Bridge
(What it looks like: Art of Skar)
The nerve centre of the ship, the bridge is designed so that the Helios can be flown by one individual, although a bridge crew of 3 is required for optimal performance.
Communications Room
The Helios contains a secure communications room, sealed off from the rest of the ship. The communications in this room bypass even the bridge, allowing ultra-secure communications to be sent without the danger of someone eavesdropping. This room is generally only accessible to the captain and the owner of the ship.
Conference room
(What it looks like: DeviantArt[)
The Helios’ office suite comes equipped with a conference room for those important meetings which require something more than an office. The conference room is capable of seating large numbers comfortably, while also providing room for presentations or to showcase products.
2 x Private Offices
(What it looks like: Krowhunger)
No home away from home would be complete without an office...so the Helios has 2 of them. A place for work to be done in the quiet, for small meetings to be held or where you can escape from the social area, to get work done.

This looks pretty solid. Minor detail though, you mention the ship carrying turbolasers but only have quad lasers listed. There is a fair bit of difference between the two. Somewhat related to that, 12 Quad Lasers and some ion cannons doesn't really add up to Average, as I see it, but it's not a really big deal.

Corrected the write up to account for the turrets instead of turbolasers.

I've gone through it again and have dropped the arms to very low, boosting the speed and manoeuvrability.
