Description: The Mounted Infantry Support System is a new piece of tech within the Hekler'Kok arsenal that was needed to boost morale after the failed pulse weapons line. The MISS-1 isn't actually a single weapon, its a heavy blaster repeater on top and a automatic 30mm grenade launcher on bottom, the reason that it was designed this way is so that soldiers wouldn't have to choose between mounting a anti-infantry or a anti-vehicle weapon on the vehicle, this way, they can have access to both weapons systems in one convenient package. It works by having a the blaster put on top and its utilizing a power cell, while the grenade launcher is put on the bottom and is fed by a belt or a ammo box attached to the side, of course this does produce some problems, being that since it runs on two types of ammunition, its harder to reload this weapon than it would be if you were just using a single weapons system. The weapon is slated to be mounted on all Hekler'Kok Vehicles, from the Thorn-class ICV and on a upcoming main battle tank and a upcoming long range recon vehicle. The standard kit for this also comes with a tungsten barrel that is used to increase the amount of blaster bolts that can be fired before the barrel begins to melt, this of course adds extra weight, but since this is a mounted weapon and its barely a problem since it won't hinder the user or slow the vehicle down that it is mounted on. The MISS-1 one originally had two triggers, but after a incident in where it was torn from its housing and landed a tester in the hospital for a week, the two triggers were replaced by one trigger and a fire selector. To prevent damage to the blaster when the grenade launcher fires, state of the art mini-shock absorbers were inserted into the areas between the two weapons, as well as making most of the inner working with the more durable quandanium steel rather than durasteel.
