Description: When the need for a updated Frontier Rifle was needed, Noah decided to answer the call and make the design himself instead of letting others do his work for him. Noah decided that if he was going to get a great rifle design, it would have to be built from the ground up. So Noah started of with the barrel, making it out of a Trimantium-Titanium alloy, this gave it the high tensile strength of Trimantium and also cut down slightly on the weight of the components. Unlike most slugthrower barrels, which are mechanically rifled, the barrels for the Mark II's are all laser drilled, allowing for a much efficiently rifled allowing for a higher degree of accuracy. When tested and it was found out that the alloy used in the barrel was extremely rugged, the entire working mechanisms of the weapon were made out of it, allowing a significantly rugged and durable design. When it came obvious that a plasteel or duraplast shell wouldn't be good for this rifle, Noah decided to head into a different route, using synthwood that had a sort of flair while still keeping a degree of ruggedness. While this weapon is great it does, like most weapons, come with a few downsides. One being the fact that while the original rifle holds up to 20 rounds while the Mark II only holds 10, though this is a trade-off for the extra ruggedness. Another is its weight, being nearly half a kilogram than other rifles like it, though again the trade-off is for the extra ruggedness. The most obvious weakness is what tester referred to as the dead man's ping. You see what happens is that when the ten rounds are fired, the ten round clip that was originally loaded is automatically ejected, causing it to make a loud and distinct pinging noise, this is a clear indicator to anyone shooting at you that you are currently out of ammo.
