HEC-18 "Dasher" (Civilian)
- Micro-Matter Injector
- Dasher escape craft come with very small hypermatter reserves. Dasher escape craft are only able to be purchased as a type of escape pod. A "SCRAM" function can be triggered by a button press from those onboard. This is a special command that tell the Dominus to automatically inject hyper matter into the fuel combustion process when it aligns with a safe vector. This means that as HEC-18s clear their mothership, they are immediately thrust into hyperspace. This helps keep these vulnerable ships safe from incoming fire, as they slip out of realspace very quickly. Once they re-emerge, they can fall back on their engines and re-entry parachute to take them to the nearest planet/landing zone. The SCRAM command is the only way the MMI will function for this model.

- Integrated droid brain
- Micro-Matter Injector
- HEC-19 shuttles come with the same MMI, but are not locked behind pre-programmed commands. Pilots are more free to use and experiment with the technology at their leisure

- Integrated droid brain
- Speed Kills
- HEC-18 and 19 shuttles are very quick, nimble ships. This assists them in their main objective of ferrying personnel from one location to another
- Vulnerable
- Both models of the HEC shuttle are quite ill-equipped for combat. The HEC-18 is a dedicated escape pod while the HEC-19 is meant to ferry VIPs, not engage in dogfights.
Developed alongside the Micro-Matter Injector, the HEC series of shuttles perform similar functions. The HEC-18 is an escape pod that will all but ensure the safety of the crew (provided they're not in an interdiction field, of course) as they can count on the safety of hyperspace if necessary. Especially with the ability to launch decoy ships, tracking escaping HEC-18s becomes very difficult. The HEC-19 was intended as an experimental shuttle that provided proof of concept for more free-form use of the Micro-Matter Injector, demonstrating that pre-programmed commands were not a necessity. However, Treatech eventually decided to sell the shuttle as high-end clientele seemed interested in the safety and speed provided by MMI jumps
