  Tough, jaded, and sarcastic, Harvey Denson is a notorious detective in the CSF's Homicide Unit who’s made a name for himself as an any-means-necessary cop. Harvey isn’t averse to a little bribery, maybe some extortion. In some cases, he isn’t even against complete cooperation when it comes to dealing with the ecumenopolis’ criminal underworld. What is right isn’t necessarily practical, and Harvey knows that better than most. He’s the product of a criminal justice system that isn’t quite just, using the corruption and lawlessness of Coruscant's underbelly to his advantage.

  His ties to the criminal antics on Coruscant attracted the attention of the mysterious Donna, whom Harvey worked alongside closely - and quietly - in a symbiotic partnership. When Harvey had an itch that needs scratched, The Family was apt to lend a hand. When they needed case files expunged, an arms deal to go off without a hitch, or a hazing to go overlooked, Harvey was more than happy to make sure things go smoothly.
  
  It’s a massiff-eat-massiff world out there. Folks who wear the same shades of grey gotta stick together. But some shades are darker than others, and sometimes symbiosis turns parasitic. Harvey needed a way out, and Grisha offered it on a silver platter. In the wake of a devastating attack on Coruscant, the good detective made out like a king with a trove of sensitive data stolen from the Donna. He traded it for a new life in the Corporate Sector, one he hopes is quiet enough to let him skate by without feeling the wrath of the Family.
