Disney's Princess
StarWars: Halloway's Curse - Mimban Faction Mission

Prologue

Mimban. Recent events have seen an outbreak of a terrible virus among the Mimbanite population. Including senior Republic engineering officers amongst the afflicted. Two days ago a medical expedition was launched to reinforce and assist in containing, and curing, the outbreak.

Blasting across Hyperspace and with little time to spare, the Jedi Order and the Republic Navy embark on a quest to save the troubled Mimban population and perhaps, even the planet itself.

Chapter One | Vincent's Cross

Boz Pity Sector, Rally Point. Republic Space

The Jump Corvette exited hyperspace with a shock and a blast. Decelerating into Normal Space with a quick glance and banking suddenly to redirect their course. After a brief journey from the Outer Rim, the Jedi had finally arrived.

"...Exit complete Captain. We've arrived to the Rally Point. Republic Shield-class Frigate Vincent's Cross identified and on screen."

"Excellent. Looks like they got here just before us. Perfect timing. ...Lieutenant, bring us in closer and tell our passengers they are free to make the hop. Their ride is waiting for them."

"Yes sir. Switching over. This is the bridge to Shuttle One. We've cleared Hyperspace all the way from Ossus and you are green for shuttle jump. I repeat, you are green light for shuttle jump. God speed and may the Force be with you."

____

"...Gracias bridge. This is Shuttle One. And we are away..."

The white skiff darted out from the amber shuttle bay and threw itself towards the massive glittering vessel beyond. The Vincent's Cross was waiting to take them rest of the way. An impressive medical frigate with all the latest in technological advancement. Even her acended blue Andromeda paint job marked her great beauty amongst the fleet. She was gorgeous.

"Okay sports-fans. Please keep your seat beats fastened and your hands on those lightsabers as all hands prepare for arrival. We are wheels down in ten seconds. This is Shuttle One to Medical Frigate Vincent's Cross. We are on approach to you now."

~ "Shuttle One is the Vincent Cross. You are green lights for arrival. Welcome aboard." ~

"...Yes sir. Mmhmm. Bringing us in now. ...Thanks for the ride."

~ "Our pleasure Shuttle One. We'll see you soon." ~

The vast hiss of the repulsars blew smoke across Vincent's Cross the flight deck. Letting the shuttle's loading ramp descend with a dull thud. From across the durasteel plating the yellow-clad crewman began his quick jog over and waved the arriving Jedi aboard. Boots clicking and clacking against the descended,

"Hello! Don't mind the noise! Welcome aboard the Vincent's Cross, Jedi. If you'll just throw your things anywhere against the flight deck we'll have them escorted to your rooms. Passenger cabins have already been assigned by Knight Jhovna aboard our vessel. She and the Captain are awaiting you in the Conference Room on Deck One. ...If you'll all follow me to the lift, we are in a hurry. So let's double time it people! Follow me!"

The crew man gave a hurried nod and ushered the party to towards the turbolift. He jogged over to the wide doors and turned around with a tussle of his yellow headset. The blast doors of the hanger began to close and the glittering streaks of Hyperspace could be seen to appear just beyond. They were already away. Time awaits no man out here,

"...Okay! We hit Mimban in seven hours. Hope you're all ready for this. Reports ain't pretty. Anyway, your Knight should have the rest of your brief. She's upstairs. Head up to the Conference Room and we'll be seeing you all too soon. God speed Jedi. And again, welcome aboard the Vincent's Cross. Yeehaa!"

He hit the red button and the wide turbolift doors opened like a hungry maw. Revealing the white and glittering blue luxury vessel so unaccustomed to most military ships. Even the quiet ding of the crystal paneled elevator reminded you that this would be an event when the Jedi Order would be sailing into danger with style.

It was going to be one hell of a ride.

*ooc: objective one: post one: exit the shuttle, reach the conference room.*

Haytham Kaze

Judge, Judgury, Judgecutioner
Shuttle One landed.

At least, that's what Haytham thought the name of the shuttle that he was on for a temporary amount of time was called. It was an interesting trip, he encountered other Jedi and military personnel, but it wasn't like they became best friends... Or even friends. If anything, in Haytham's mind they had only become acquainted with each other. A name and rank basis only if truth be told.

That was the start to friendship right?

He didn't really know, the Padawan rarely if ever thought about making friends. He spent most of his free time training in solitude at the various temples and enclaves.

He disembarked from the shuttle once the ramp dropped. He nodded his head to the man that gave them the introductions, and then he exited the elevator once it deposited them on the right floor and he entered into the Conference Room.

The first thing he did was his customary bow... I should be famous for this.

Gherron found himself among a group of other Jedi, waiting for the shuttle to dock. When he'd caught wind of the mission, he was one of the Rist to sign up. Any chance to help others, he'd take it. And a virus... Well, that just added more variables to it all. He'd have to wait and see what happened. Once the man came in for the briefing, Gherron listened intently at everything he had to say. Sam would be meeting them? Ohhhh, right, she's the one who organized the whole thing. Made sense. Getting up, he filed out with the others once they were given the word, and stepped into the meeting room. A certain calmness filled his face, like he knew what could happen, but was already preparing himself to be able to deal with it. He'd been through several situations of various intensities now, and it helped to be able to deal with a situation accordingly, instead of losing one's mind. Breathing softly, he patiently waited for the other Jedi to pile in, and for Sam to brief them.

Sera stepped off the shuttle as it landed, filing in line behind the others. She wasn't familiar with the other Jedi, and they didn't seem too talkative right now, perhaps given the circumstances of where they were headed and what they were getting into. She understood that Sam would be leading the excursion down to the planet and heading up the initiative, so as they were escorted through she remained quiet, her hands clasped behind her back as she wondered just how bad this outbreak was to warrant the involvement of the Jedi.

With a bow to her fellow Jedi, Sam, and the others in the room she greeted them, "Hello there, everyone. Are we expecting many others? Or is this to be a small incursion?"

Jack slapped his knees and shot up as soon as the shuttle connected with the main ship, he was excited to be off the shuttle. He was never a big fan of enclosed spaces, though being stuffed in there with plenty of people helped. Jack stepped out of the shuttle as hemade his way towards the turbolift eyes wandering the room as he made his way to the turbolift.

Jack tapped his foot to the elevator music for some reason or another, whoever picked the music for this ship had taste. He smiled as soon as he got into the conference room, seeing his favourite jedi knight. "Hey there Sammy, how have you been?" He grinned at her, he always enjoyed teasing the Jedi he knew.
