STRENGTHS

Automated - Many of the internal systems of the Hajen-class have been automated to allow for a smaller crew to operate a larger vessel. These automated systems handle much of the secondary and tertiary systems while ensuring that critical systems such as navigation and life support remain in the hands of the organic crew.

Increased Defenses - To ensure that the vital cargo and supplies that the vessel carries makes it to its destination, the vessel was designed with reinforced defenses and increased defensive capabilities.

High Cargo Volume - The primary focus of the Hajen-class is its increased cargo capacity, allowing it to carry larger quantities of supplies. This increased capacity ensures that even a singular Hajen-class has the potential to resupply sizeable force or provide larger quantities of supplies to where they are needed the most.

WEAKNESSES

Minimal Armament - As the vessel was designed to maximize and place an emphasis on Cargo Capacity, the additional room required to carry an increased surplus of supplies has resulted in many of the weapon systems being removed.

Minimal Support - The Hajen-class was designed to focus on carrying and cargo capacity over other key points. To this extent, much of the internal space has been dedicated to cargo and the vessel is only capable of supporting a singular Starfighter Squadron.

Automated - Due to many of the secondary and tertiary systems being automated, they are highly susceptible to Ion-based weaponry or EMP-based strikes. This has the potential of rendering the vessel inoperable, as the limited organic crew would have difficulty maintaining the larger vessel on their own without the assistance of the automated systems and accompanying droid contingent.

DESCRIPTION

Logistics and supply chains win wars just as much as boots on the ground or vast armadas securing the stars above. The need and ability to feed and keep a force well supplied with what it needs to continue a fight is just as important as tactics and planning where to strike to catch an enemy off-guard. To ensure that the Galactic Alliance was capable of providing the resources and materials needed and ensuring that the supplies reached vital points, the Hajen-class Fleet Tender was developed to fill the niche need. These vessels boast an increased carrying capacity with much of the internal compartments being dedicated to carrying supplies in excess of what many similarly sized vessels are capable of carrying. However, this has come at its own cost, which can be seen in its lack of armaments; as much of the internal structure was dedicated to cargo, many of these weapon systems were removed save for a minimal armament with thich to defend the vessel. Likewise, this focus on cargo has also come at the cost of Hangar Capacity, with the vessel only capable of supporting a singular squadron of Starfighters alongside its two Support Craft Squadrons. In an attempt to make up for this drawbacks, the vessels were designed with increased defenses to further protect the vital supplies that these vessels carry. Though unlikely to be seen slugging it out on the front lines as vast navies engage one another, it still serves a very important role that cannot be understated. The Hajen-class serves as the backbone, and upon its hull it carries the vast armadas and armies of the Galactic Alliance; keeping them well fed and supplied even as the Alliance finds itself embroiled in a new conflict on multiple fronts. The Hajen-class Fleet Tender, like other vessels, was also designed to embrace efficiency which can be seen in the basic hull and systems of the vessel also being utilized in the design and production of the Sacheen-class Light Escort.
