Major imports: None. Hagron's World is cut off from the galaxy.
Major exports: None. Hagron's World is cut off from the galaxy. Eventually, however, it will be a producer of gemstones and luxury foodstuffs. Its solar system also contains gadolinium, terenthium, maranium and desh.
Affiliation: None as of yet.

Culture: Hagron's World is, at this point, a direct democracy by means of technology. Every citizen is linked to a HoloNet voting system where crucial issues are debated and decided in real time. This is an experimental form of governance which has persisted for only twenty years; before that, Hagron's World was a federal republic. Regional voting blocs still exist, but only on certain issues. A given citizen belongs to any number of voting blocks on any number of issues.

The general tenor of Hagron'ka society is pluralistic and relatively tolerant, though this is to some extent limited by lack of exposure to non-Krevaaki in the last four hundred years. Travellers can expect to be received with greater or lesser amounts of xenophobia, and odd or distorted expectations of various common species. For example, the Twi'lek association with spice, sex and slavery has led to a common folklore figure -- Jehnraa, Demon of Vice, a Krevaaki with lekku. Likewise, humans are often believed to have a rapid period of maturition and large 'litters' -- how else could they get into everything?

The world was named for Hagron-tides-of-green, the visionary Krevaaki cleric who sacrificed himself by remaining behind on Krevas to let the colony ship escape what seemed to be certain destruction. As a result, Hagron's World prizes self-sacrifice and self-discipline, occasionally resulting in aesceticism and even cults.

Common holidays include Greentide Day, a twice-yearly sacrificial rite in which each inhabitant of the system sacrifices something in some way. On parts of the planet, some sacrifice expensive animals; others fast, or burn ceremonial paper sacrifices. Still others make pilgrimages into the deep ocean on Greentide Day, symbolic of the colony ship's journey.

Technology: Roughly equivalent with galactic standard, minus the hyperdrive.

History: Hagron's World was colonized, with great difficulty, during the earliest phase of the Dark Age, when a minor warlord threatened to wipe out Krevas. This took place in roughly 430 ABY. A single colony ship found refuge here in 432 ABY, but an accident destroyed the hyperdrive and navicomputer. Over the ensuing centuries, though exploratory forces spread through the system, full saturation being achieved in 780 ABY, Hagron's World never rediscovered the hyperdrive.

Wars have taken place between orbital space settlements and the homeworld (490 ABY, 660 ABY, 690 ABY), and between the resulting conglomerate and far-flung mining settlements (770 ABY, 810 ABY). However, the entire system became unified in its particular brand of direct democracy twenty years ago (815 ABY). The last independent holdouts take refuge in the distant Oort cloud, mining comets for air and water. It was those independents, as luck would have it, who first encountered the hyperspace explorer Jorus Merrill (834 ABY). The system's exposure to the galaxy is very recent, and effects on its development remain to be seen.
Notable PC's: None yet
Intent: As a potential world for a new faction, and asteroid mining RPs. Also, who doesn't like Krevaaki?

First of all, there's not enough information about the planet's history. Please expand it and add years when something happened. At the moment I could only assume the time when something took place.

There's also not enough information about culture. Though I appreciate the work you did with describing politics, I'd also like to see more about society, religion, daily life, traditions, etc. Even thought it's just a planet submission, I would like to see enough information about culture to make it easier to play on the planet.

And also, is there a reason why the population is so low?

Otherwise, though there's not much information yet, I think it could become an interesting planet. :)

The population's low because it's all descended from one colony ship. If you're requiring dates these days, I'll add them and tag you when that, and the cultural notes, are fleshed out more.
