Description:
Zenva possess what most would call an "old-fashioned" mentality. Despite her sorted past, mercenary, assassin, slaver; she maintains a sense of honesty, honor and spiritual devotion. This manifests itself in many aspects of the Blood Matron's life, including her dedication to relics like the Marauder Class Corvette and now the K-Wing Assault Fighter.
While most, if not all, of the K-Wing's systems have been modernized, including a new power plant the Clan Heart Reactor, stronger shield generators and more durable materials for the frame and armor, the fighter itself remains true to it's original design. The laser weapons and their placement remain unchanged. And the crew, pilot, bomber, and two gunners, are still stationed in the forward command nod, which can separate from the main body to act as an escape pod.
The only major changes to the K-Wing are the weapons for the eighteen (18) hard points. Although there are two separate configurations, fighter or bomber, the weapons are very similar. Two medium Energy Torpedo launchers are present in both load outs. These plasma "dumb" bombs may be short range, comparatively, but they pack a mean punch. The main draw back to them is their forty five (45) second recharge cycle before the weapons can fire again. Used in conjunction with the Proton Torpedoes, or the Bomber's bigger Advanced Proton Bombs, the H-K Fighter can make quick work of both ground targets and capital ship emplacements. Alternatively the Proton Torpedoes and the T-33 Plasma Torpedoes are both well suited to engaging enemy fighter craft.
