STRENGTHS
  • Triple Dakka - With its three barrels, the GWE-005 is capable of maintaining a very high rate of fire. Such a weapon is ideal for clearing rooms and bringing quick firepower to bear in order to suppress an enemy.
  • Cheap and Reliable - Like all weapons in the GWE series, the GWE-005 is a cheap weapon, ideal for fielding by outback militias, cultist gangs, and hard-pressed rebels in need of a fast-firing, reliable slugthrower capable of engaging man-sized targets and functioning in virtually any environment.
WEAKNESSES
  • Weight - Pound for pound, energy weapons are generally more efficient than slugthrowers. The GWE-005 certainly is no exception to this. Magazines take space and add weight to any soldier, limiting how many can be carried at a time. Not to mention, the GWE-005 itself is slightly heavier than the average slugthrower rifle.
  • Mechanical Mutation - Like any piece of technology, the GWE-005 is susceptible to Mechu-deru and other technology-twisting powers. A talented practitioner of such esoteric sorceries could induce a jam or some other mechanical failure that might compromise the weapon entirely or demand precious time to fix, leaving the shooter vulnerable.
  • Off Center - Any shots fired from the two barrels on either side of the center barrel are always going to be slightly off-center from the sights due to their positioning. This can present complications for accurate, precise fire, especially if the user is aiming to hit gaps in armor or other small targets.
DESCRIPTION
The GWE-005 is Gun-Works fifth entry into the GWE series—a fast-firing and versatile slugthrower assault rifle with a reliable design. In this, the GWE-005 the GWE-005’s rate of fire is what distinguishes it from other weapons in the series. The three barrels aid in this by splitting heat buildup and thereby, easing temperature management. Finally, like other weapons in the series, the GWE-005 can be produced at almost any synthicator, molecular furnace, or molecular furnace. However, the versions produced by Gun-Works are generally the most reliable.
