Bounty Guildy Party [Bounty Hunters Guild]

This, this was something he could do. He actually knew what to do here, no crazy Sith, no death-squads bearing down on him in a shuttle, and no spooky witch-ladies.

He creeped forward, camouflaged and upwind of his fellow bounty hunters. He saw the big Trianii, Sinder Sinder from a mile away and figured to play it safe, for all he knew they had good noses. As he approached closer, he recognized Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin , and Be'iqaronn Be'iqaronn , he wrinkled his nose at the sight of him, he did indeed initiate the distraction too early, and also in a way that would do the opposite of drawing forces from the building. Oh well, water under the bridge, he couldn't do much now. There was another new face, from beside the Trianii, Enigma Iuda Enigma Iuda , probably some slicer.

As he dragged himself through the mud, crawling under bushes and being pounded by rain, he felt that the fact he was sneaking up on his fellow bounty hunters would feel a lot cooler if each movement didn't send pain up his sides. He shrugged it off, he had by no means gotten away from the CIS unscathed, and though he had healed a little, it still hurt.

Most of this was for his own benefit. He wanted some comfort in the fact he was competent at something besides rolling out of windows. His first major excursion as a bounty hunter did not end well. He paused, listening to the slicer display the holograms and talk, before slowly creeping up to them, rising to a crouch, carefully placing his feet at the points which would cause the least noise. As soon as he got as close as he thought he could, he said "Boo." as he stood. He was covered in mud, soaking wet and rather happy with himself.

Sinder laid his gaze back on Be'iqaronn Be'iqaronn . He knew his accent was thick and he was not as versed in Basic as his native language, so he figured his point must have been misconstrued. “I only meant she was mortal like all of us, her flesh is tender, tearable.” He bowed his head to show no sign of disrepect before Enigma continued with his show and tell.

Even though he appeared to be a wise-ass keyboard jockey at first, Sinder appreciated the man’s sense of humor.‌ It helped to know that Enigma likely knew better than to actually insult the‌ Trianii’s honor. Just to give the slicer a little reminder of how big his fangs were, Sinder moved his upper lip just a little bit, having it quiver ever so slightly as though he were on the hunt. Enigma would likely see the first inch or so of his beaming white fangs before he closed his mouth. It would be fun to toy with the soft ones.

With the more information about the targets that he received, Sinder was further convinced that this hunt would be more than what he had imagined. It had been far too long since he had been challenged with multiple targets on the same hunt, especially ones as high profile as these. Even without their weapons, most of these bounties would still prove to be more than deadly enough. It helped that he was not in direct competition with the other hunters, it meant that they would be less likely to stab him in the back.

The news of the rifle both Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin and Enigma spoke of piqued the mercenary’s interest in an unwholesome way. He imagined the enemies he could vaporize with the weapon if he were able to get his hands on it, though Cassus would likely want the weapon back himself. That would be a bridge that Sinder crossed when he got to it. The rest of the hunt seemed rather laid out for them it was like a crossword puzzle, the more they got right the easier it was to fill in the blanks on the others. Although most crossword puzzles didn’t have the added danger of large monsters able to rip flesh and bone lurking around the corner.

Before the group was able to discuss more, however, something tingled down Sinder’s back. He felt a presence through the Force. Of course, how could he be so stupid as to think this was an honest group. The masked ones were obviously swindlers, set on trapping hunters on Dxun and killing them and taking their credits.‌‌ How naive could Sinder have been to trust these three? As he went to reach for his blaster and turn around he heard the “boo”‌ from Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd . It was hard to hide when you scared a creature with a tail, and as such, if anyone were paying attention they would notice Sinder’s tail straighten up a bit as he finished his motion.

“What kind of trick is this?” This time Sinder was showing his entire set of fangs to the newcomer. The blaster that was once at the Trianii’s side was now resting in his hand, facing toward Arwen. It would probably appear to the group that Sinder was not great at introductions.

“Whoa, whoa big guy.” He quickly raised his hands, wincing at the pain the sudden movement caused. “I’m with you guys, fellow bounty hunter and all that, just wanted to see if I could get the drop on you.” He said, eyeing Sinder Sinder carefully, lowering his hands if the Trianii calmed down. “Those two over there can attest to that, I worked with them on Geonosis, the brilliant plan that worked out so well was mostly my idea.” He gestured to Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin and Be'iqaronn Be'iqaronn , “Sorry if I spooked ya.” He was probably lucky that he didn’t have his weapons drawn, he had them slung or holstered, it seemed like it would be in poor taste to approach the group with weapons drawn. He quickly eyed down the slicer, Enigma Iuda Enigma Iuda to see what he was up to aswell

As the five hunters congregated in the clearing, talking shop, the forces of nature swirl about them. Noses in the air, ears perked high, eyes hidden in thick foliage reflecting small glints of light, creatures both predator and smaller predator find their curiosities peak by the chattering beings...

Yellow eyes didn’t break contact from Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd as he pleaded with Sinder. Holding the gun to his head still, he listened to his words. He seemed genuine, but there was something pushing Sinder to pull the trigger. Knowing it was wrong to kill a fellow bounty hunter, he couldn’t shake the feeling that listening to Arwen would ensure his death on this planet. The mercenary’s tail twitched slightly behind him, picking up on the movement of the ground and the wind blowing at them.

Of course! In all of the excitement of the briefing and the unannounced arrival of their newest ally, they had forgotten the entire planet kept moving. There were beasts in the woods that could pick up on the smallest of noises, especially speech and bodies rustling through the trees. Now that he was actually listening, he could hear the approaching footsteps. They were attempting to hide their footfalls, but Sinder was a better hunter than they were. He could feel it in the mud beneath his boots.

Still having his blaster pointed toward Arwen, Sinder moved it slightly to the right, pointed just beyond the hunter’s head. He let off two consecutive shots from his blaster. The first one sounded like a sizzle followed by a deep bellow of pain. He had hit his mark, the second shot ended the pained cries. Sinder turned his head toward Enigma Iuda Enigma Iuda , Be'iqaronn Be'iqaronn and Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin .

“I suggest we leave.”‌ He took his blaster and gestured toward the brush around them. “More will come.” The Trianii looked back toward Arwen, a smirk coming over his face, revealing some of his sharp fangs. “Sorry.” He shrugged toward the hunter.

The group didn’t have much time to group up and mobilize however, before the large beast that could now be clearly heard breaking through foliage and trees, headed straight toward them. Sinder took his large repeating blaster off of his back and slowly started to withdraw back toward the speederbikes. If the creature were going to jump out, he would be able to provide needed coverfire. Hopefully someone would have a solid lead on this Sheila woman.

Cassus listened intently to Enigma Iuda Enigma Iuda , trying to work out the best target. Initially, Cassus was very focused on Sheila due to her reputation but given her relationship with Firgotta, he began to predict that she would likely use the easily spotted slug as a diversion for an attack (likely against his own awareness). That would be a dangerous combo with the beasts in the jungle obscuring her movements. It was highly probable she could have created improvized or smuggled weapons into the jungle with her by this time. It also suddenly occurred to the boy that someone like that would be easily alerted to the arrival of ships, as well as clearings. This was a perfect place to locate your hunters and begin anticipating their movements for traps. Trudging through the brush of the jungle though wouldn't be a much better proposition though, with the Trandoshan despoiler somewhere lurking in the dark. Suddenly, Cassus found himself thinking that maybe hunting the droid, despite being the more difficult one to find, would be the safest bet to victory... assuming they could make it through the dangers of the jungle itself and the other prolific hunters and huntress.

Despite all that though, they did have a team with some rather strong contenders. Cassus was just worried about his depleted supply of gadgets. They have been breaking more and more often ever since he started hunting on his own with his mother bed-ridden. Geonosis was the worst case of this, many components between his suit and weaponry suffered numerous malfunctions and-

Suddenly, a familiar face made itself apparent in perhaps one of the more unwise ways it could have, startling the big old murder kitten. Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd quickly made mention of Cassus and Be'iqaronn Be'iqaronn , perhaps trying to deflect the aggression of the tiger-man to them. Luckily, Sinder Sinder seemed to be only startled, but not necessarily holding lethal aggression. Then before Cassus could really process a response, the feline shot at Arwen!

No, not Arwen he missed... and hit a beast now screaming out of the brush as it died, before being silenced by a second shot! Great. Cassus thought briefly, before pulling out one of the three tracking FOBBs he was given (the droid not having one of course).

"We can stick together and handle them one by one, or split up to find them faster, take your pick, I'm tracking the Hutt. I have a feeling Sheila will be using him as bait against us." Cassus said moving towards the brush, with his Relentless Blade readied but not activated, FOBB hanging from his belt, while he drew his blaster at the ready.

Renn stood there, watching the group talk, he was loosely listening, looking at his HUD it said there was someone near them. This one was not of their group, probably another hunter trying to get paid. Unclipping the part over his revolver he was about to turn, but he heard a familiar voice. Clipping his revolver he turned spotting Arwen Hadd Arwen Hadd .

He looked at him silently as the conversation went on. The forests termed with life, one just had to listen to know that. Animals scurried from bush to bush, insects flapped their wings, the snap of a tree branch and other sounds not of a city. Soon Sinder Sinder shot one of these sounds. Firing again to silence it. Now the forest was quiet except this group. “We should probably go, don’t want predators to smell that thing. And it would be wasting time.” Looking at Cassus Akovin Cassus Akovin . He heard about hunting a Hutt, which is usually not the smartest idea but what they have is what he’ll work with.
