Description:
Basing it upon his previous design, the GS-3 Rifle, Krayzen decided to improve upon it, and make it more versatile.
The GS-3 Weapon System features the same functionality that was featured in the previous rifle, it being a slugthrower/sonic rifle. What however is different, compared to the other slugthrower/sonic hybrid is that it is versatile, being able to be switched from a pistol, to a rifle, and a sniper rifle.
The foundation of the weapon is the pistol variant. Like the basic mechanics of the GS-3 Rifle, a slugthrower(being propelled via mange tic rails) enters a containment chamber that compresses the sound, and as it exists, a sonic cloud is created around the projectile, making it function similarly to a Mandalorian ripper, the only difference being sonic energy instead of blaster energy surrounding the projectile.
The pistol can be made into a rifle when a longer barrel is attached to a pistol; this is also the same in terms of a sniper rifle, and an electro-magnetic scope, as well as a bipod can be attached, making the weapon system extremely versatile, and well-versed for those that hunt against force sensitives.
Like any weapon, it features it's strengths, and weaknesses. For instance, the weapon system is limited to one form of a pistol round, a .50 round to be more precise, however the .50 round can come in many forms, such as dragon breath, white phosphorous, etc. . Additionally, the sniper variant has a lower rate of fire compared to the rifle, and pistol variant. All of the variants also have lower range compared to other sniper rifles around the galaxy; nevertheless, it's versatility, and the fact that it packs a punch more than makes up for that.
