Group Bonding, of the Violent Variety

It was a fine day, a handful of the Confederacy’s warriors had been brought into the coarse and sandy arena below: Lirka Ka, the beloved Confederate berserker, had tried her best to assemble whatever powerful warriors that could come to have a proper test of mettle.

It was a proper gladiator fight, and rewards had been promised to whomever would “survive” the massive brawl. Alas, a fight to the death was out of the question. Though “to the death” was the only thing that Lirka had been completely disallowed from making legal, but breaking, maiming, and or “removing” was entirely in the question. It would be raw. It would be brutal. It would be beautiful.

Soon the chaos calmed though, an elderly looking Geonosian walked up and took the comms for the arena, speaking as the announcer for the event: hidden around a handful of other speakers turned the jittering clicks and clacks into far more comprehensible basic:

“<<We are honored today to host the mightiest warriors the Confederacy could muster today! Before you is no mere handful of soldiers, or mere gladiators: the warriors before us are the best the Confederacy can bring to bare! And here we are, witnessing their greatness!”

Nothing beat a little bit of fluffing up of the Fighters’ egos. Once upon a time the Petranaki Arena was used for executions, of course the fight today was far from that, regardless it kept the appearance of one. Stone pillars rose into the ground, hiding weapons and chains, the distant roars of mighty and exotic beasts that could be unleashed if the need proved itself for added chaos. A proper fight, a proper brawl.

The fighters had been placed around at the corners of the arena, a wary calm before the storm that would inevitably erupt below. The pure chaos of the arena, intoxicating to any true child of the pits.

But despite, all the coming blood, the roaring crowds, and the lovely fighters that had been arranged this more than everything would be an absolutely wonderful bonding experience. What better way to bond than to beat someone till they squirmed less?

[Just a smidge of OOC: would be appreciated if no one pulls any crazy force stuff, and could put an intro post before the actual fighting goes down]

At times Kurenai had to question if Lirka was legally allowed to do half the stuff she did, more so questioning why the women stayed in the confederacy when her ideal life style seemed to conflict with it so much with that of the CIS. Regardless there was one thing she could relate to with the slightly battle crazy women, and that was the test of strength and fighting, the feel of raw power and might. Was she herself skilled in technique and move sets? yes Kurenai often used certain styles and moves in combat, bypassing shear strength when fighting, but that didn't mean she was no brawler.

If need be she was more then capable of boxing like a champ, able to take punishment and punches head on and deal them back twice and hard, her physical strength enforced by years of training and her species natural abilities. She could have made it big in shock boxing, if it wasn't for the whole being left to fend for yourself in the whild for almost a decade after your entire town was killed at age 6. Today though she would show that strength here in this area, face to face with others of similar skill, no overly flamboyant force powers, no fancy gadgets, just raw power.

Walking into the dust area the women wore little more then a tank top and long black jeans, her trusty glaive in hand, ready to be driven into the heads of anything or anyone that stood in her way. Hopefully the latter being non lethal, that was the only rule in this fighting, once again another things she could agree on with Lirka. The whole 'not to the death' was a little bit of a bummer, it constantly mean she had to keep her skill in check and not go all out least kill her opponent accidentally.

"Well I am here to kick ass, who is my first opponent"?
