OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Space Station Name: Gold Fire Casino
  • Station Model: Exec-class mobile luxury station.
  • Classification: Mobile Luxury Station
  • Location: Gold Fire Casino is currently semi-permanently docked with Damascus Station (permission) by way of magnetic docking clamp assemblies.
  • Affiliation: Victor Algernot (owner / sub-account), Gold Fire Casino.
  • Population: Moderate
    • Damascus Station is home to 1.5 billion sentients, but Gold Fire Casino is much smaller than its host - at any given time, Golf Fire only hosts about fifteen hundred guests at any given time, plus five hundred staff and assorted droids.
  • Demographics:
    • Damascus Station is Gold Fire Casino's primary source of business, and as such has clientele ranging from Humans (about 50% of the populace), Chiss, Wookies, Trandoshans, Mon Calamari, Dorneans, and Mandalorians.
  • Accessibility:
    • Gold Fire Casino is well advertised and well known, though reservations are typically needed for anything more than a single day stay. The Casino mainly caters to the middle and upper classes, meaning that accessibility for lower income sentients is usually restricted.
  • Traffic: Moderate
    • Traffic is typically moderate; most foot traffic in and out of the Casino are only there for an average of a single day; longer term visitors typically stay about a week. Starcraft are easily managed via large hangar accommodations, with the largest ships able to be accommodated being large corvettes - keeping space traffic to a minimum.
  • Description:
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Main Casino:
    Casino-Floor.jpg
The Casino deck takes up roughly seven entire levels of the Gold Fire, and primarily features
Territory Roulette and Coruscant Shift Sabacc. Typically filled with sentients, waiter droids can often be seen expertly weaving through the crowd to keep the drinks flowing. Fortunes can be lost and won here!
  • Race Track:
    Fathier-Race.jpg
The Racing deck is a kilometer long circuit taking up an entire deck floor on the Gold Fire. Here, the ever popular
Fathier Races can be watched live from stands at track-level, or from the overlook balcony deck that rings the track. *Worried guests can rest assured that Gold Fire takes the best care of its Fathiers - race animals eat only the best grassgrains, exercise in carefully calibrated gravity chambers, receive daily vibro-massage and grooming, and are encouraged to race by non-electric riding crops. A happy Fathier is a fast Fathier!

  • Restaurant & Lounge:
    Lounge.png
The Gold Fire hosts a five-star restaurant and lounge, the Coeur du feu, and serves a dizzying array of drinks and foods from across the galaxy. Seating hundreds of sentients at a time. Known for its cozy interior and panoramic viewports, Coeur du feu serves hundreds of sentients at a time.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Initially a prototype Exec-class built by Roth Likonis, the Gold Fire was going to be decommissioned before it was bought by the eccentric Victor Algernot. Enamored with the Old Core style of the station, Victor turned the newly christened Gold Fire Casino into an expansive gambling den, expanded its casino decks, and hired gourmands for a five-star restauranteur experience.

Part joke, part penthouse, part reason-to-get-out-of-bed-in-the-morning, the Gold Fire remains Victor's favorite lovechild, the station wandering the galaxy and (currently) following Damascus Station as it searches for - in the words of Victor - "The Perfect Mistake."

This is a lovely submission. The detail is extreme and quite frankly amazing with all the right you've put into the composition. Just two things:

1.) I'm not sure if it's just me but I can't seem to load your permissions for Damascus Station. It's just a white page for me that doesn't show anything.

Can you please re-upload it?

2.) Security: The actual content checks out but you'll need to remove the spoiler. Per the Codex Rules:
  • Spoiler and Tabs BB-Code are prohibited. (Exception: Images can be in spoilers.)
Go ahead and fix up those two things for me and I'll get you on your way. Very good work, friend.

Tag me when ready :)

Thank you!

Whoopsies; didn't know about the no spoiler thing - I'll remember that for the future.

I deleted the image and then re-uploaded it, and double checked that the link works correctly. It works for me, and for a friend of mine - if it doesn't work it may be on your end, or maybe it was glitchy the first time around.
