DESCRIPTION

As war heats up around the galaxy on a number of fronts, the House Mecetti Nationalized Industries have embarked on a bold plan to provide useful warships to small operators, including privateering companies and corporate security forces as part of their 'Budget Battle Force' initiative. The largest product of this initiative is the Gladiator Class (Remanufactured) Cruiser.

House Mecetti identified a 'boneyard' left over from the old Empire, where ancient Gladiator Class cruisers and other starships were parked in deep space, awaiting breakup and salvage by New Republic forces. When the New Republic was devastated by the New Order, the boneyard was forgotten. For centuries, these ships collected space-dust and gamma rays, slowly deteriorating in the depths of space.

No longer!

Purchasing the whole inventory of the forgotten boneyard from a local government that was not even aware of its existence, House Mecetti acquired this inventory at a steal, and is passing these savings on to you. House Mecetti immediately went about refurbishing these ancient ships at Obulette's secondary shipyard facilities. Half of the ships were cannibalized to provide parts for the other half, further reducing refurbishment costs. Then, surplus electronics systems from Obulette's other projects were installed in the ships to replace degraded systems, reduce crew requirements, improve on-board facilities, and elevate combat effectiveness. Extensive but inexpensive scrap duranium hull-plating was welded over sensitive systems. This has reduced the speed of the vessels, but speed was never their primary feature anyway. Combined with automated and point defense systems to greatly improve survivability, the trade-off is definitely worthwhile.

Now these Remanufactured Gladiators are available to you at a substantial discount, despite being more capable than ever. Get one today for just 15 million credits, and stand up to the myriad of aggressors who are popping up all over the galaxy.
