Faith wore three hats in her life, she was Minister of Intelligence, Senator of Alderaan, and Princess of Alderaan all titles, all bearing different responsibilities.

This morning as she sat in her office on Alderaan looking out to see how much further the vong technology was withdrawing from Aldera City, she prayed that it would one day be as her mother envisioned, but there were already other plans to help with gathering the citizens back together. Something that the family had discussed, disagreed on, and then when all else failed left it at do what you must.

The report that she looked at now was much like that she had to do what she must. This report was on the capture of one of the Republic's finest officers, and he was born on Alderaan. Combing these two things together it was an imperative to retrieve him.

The questions she had, should she involve [member="Fixx Kearney"], she wasn't sure.

One thing was for certain the Republic Military would need to send a team, and she would have to monitor and ensure the rescue of [member="Valkren Calderon"]

Sergeant Jonathan Michaels sat outside the office of [member="Faith Balor-Organa"]. His service cap pulled down into a fixed position upon his shaved head. Michaels, an engineering and demolitions specialist, was at a loss for words as he waited to be called into the meeting that should have happened months ago. He nervously ran his hand over the wedding band that rested on one of his left fingers as thoughts raced in his mind.

For all these politicians know, Valk' could be dead and the intel gone. What if they're just doing this for the publicity? Who is this girl anyways? Does she even know Valkren.

Jon was in an awkward position, now being the squad lead of Saber Team, he had filled the shoes of his previous team leader. Or atleast tried too. Valkren Calderon was a known leader around the Galactic Republic and it was honestly a surprise that he was ranked no higher than a sergeant. Although, rumors state that he had been offered other positions, but the commando supposedly declined all the offers, and Jon was glad. Michaels, the usual jokester of Saber team, now only had a look of defeat on his face. After their previous operation, Valkren was left behind during a skirmish with the One Sith. His fate unknown, all they could do was wait for a decision from the higher ups.

Talon was just another riot trooper from Coruscant. That is until the One Sith drove him out. He now was in charge of Raven team. Having no real fighting experience other than killing a bounty hunter and regular duty, Talon's job would be hard. Talon could manage though. He walked around HQ and explored. He was new, and everyone knew that. After all, what can a riot trooper provide anyway? Intuition, that's what. Talon had a lot of that in stock. He shouted at [member="Weiss"] .
"Aye, when does my squad start running? I'm itching to lead then into battle!"
Talon was young, and with that came his cockiness.

Krenis strode towards the antechamber for the Intelligence Minister's office. This would be interesting, as it had been some time since he had last had a briefing from someone so high up on the command chain. So far they'd left him alone for the most part. Gave him funding for his program and let him go off and do what he wanted. Apparently they needed a special touch for this mission.

Someone was already here and the rank on his uniform indicated a sergeant. Krenis gave a nod of greeting, "Sergeant. Can you tell me what we might hear in this briefing?"

He had a vague idea already, but this man was probably more familiar, given his rather gloomy face. It was good to know first-hand intel on what had happened and what those involved thought the chances of success would be. Hopefully the man's face wouldn't be an indicator of how this would turn out.

Ana the tall willowly blonde with eyes the color of the deep blue seas of Alderaan came out to see Srrgeant Michaels sitting. She could not help but notice that if had the posture of a manka cat waiting to pounce upon it's prey. "Sergeant, the Minister will see you now"

Faith waited inside standing to the left of her desk still staring out the window. She looked again at the data paid as she heard Ana invite the Sergeant in. From all accounts regarding Sergeant Calderon he should be in the hands of the One Sith, or if he had been lucky he had evaded them and was waiting it out with Rebel forces to be rescued. She was preparing to send a team in to find out, the decision, and the ultimate outcomes laid with her. Success or Failure either way.

She smoothed out her gown and waited for him to come in

Jon simply raised his hung head up in disbelief, it had been awhile since another soldier had simply asked him a question. Most on the stations they had been deployed to, Saber Team was known, and so was the history of the team. With that history came the dark mission in which Valkren was left behind, a mission in which Michaels had tried oh so desperately to forget.

"I figure you'll find out once we're inside, Sir." The tanned soldier stated as he stood up, hearing his name being called. He'd lift both hands up to his service cap, his silver ring glinting from the illumination of the nearby overhead lights as he readjusted the hat. The new Sergeant nodded to the secretary, before looking back at [member="Krenis Skirata"].

"Well, coming?"

Jonathan turned back towards the office space and marched in, only taking a few steps past the door frame before stopping and placing both hands behind his back. He'd move both of his feet about shoulder width apart and look directly past [member="Faith Balor-Organa"]'s head and slightly to the right. His stare was firm and held steady, making this gesture out of respect. Although Michaels wasn't known for respecting the higher ups, he did it this one time for Valkren. Besides, maybe this politician was different.

"Sergeant Jonathan Michaels, the new Saber One. Reporting, Ma'am."

Faith looked at the group standing in the doorway of her office. Proud all of them. She smiled put her heels together lifted her head high and returned the salute, "All of you at ease, and come in. Let us discuss Sergeant Calderon" Faith lifted the datapad, "I want to hear your thoughts compared to what is in this"

These men worked with him knew him, they were the best at telling her the truth of the matter. She smiled. "Ana will you bring some water please, you have traveled far, are any of you hungry, we can eat discuss." She wanted their attention and if they were hungry she wanted to ensure they were taken care of.

Krenis nodded as the sergeant spoke and then followed him into the office, taking a position near the wall, nodding as the two spoke. "Colonel Krenis Skirata. ARC commander. Let me hear what you've got and we can work out a plan."

He wasn't entirely sure what all this entailed, but he'd do his best for it. That was what he was created for, after all. Save the Republic through whatever means necessary, after all. He didn't know this sergeant or anything about him, so he would be of no use for that portion of the discussion. He would wait to see how that turned out before making any suggestions.

Talon scrambled into the room.
"Talon, leader of Raven Team. Sorry I'm late, comm didn't work."
Talon hastily took a seat.
"So, what do we have to discuss?"

[member="CT-8273 (Talon)"] [member="Krenis Skirata"] [member="Valkren Calderon"]

One name quickly caught her attention, she looked at Colonel Krenis Skirata, "Mando'ade?" She knew of Clan Skirata and the heavy losses the clan had suffered in the last few years. Faith smiled she only wanted to know the men in front of her, she was like that. She had done the same during her meeting with [member="Gir Quee"] it had caught him slightly off guard as well.

Before she could say another word they were joined by another, "Talon it's ok we are just starting." It was at that time Ana came in with the water, and a few what could only be thought of as finger cakes. Faith looked down and then back at Ana, she shrugged, "I can order something if necessary I wasn't planning a meal"

Faith nodded, "Very well Ana close the door" Once Ana had left Faith looked at the men before her.

"I have an agent on Coruscant they believe they have seen Sergeant Calderon. The reports of the time mention that the Sergeant could be dead, and was only listed a MIA, not KIA. My agent is trying to infiltrate the prison system there to get us a better answer, but it is also possible that if he is alive he's with the Rebels. I'm waiting on data that tells me he is alive, he is either in prison or with the Rebels. Either way getting onto Coruscant and getting off is difficult." She left off the life threatening portion they would already know that.

"My question to all of you, 1 - do you want to go get him? 2 - how soon can you depart? 3 - is there anything that he would have known that the Sith would have wanted from him?" Her eyes were dark in color she looked from face to face trying to see their reactions. She could not leave someone of Alderaan in the hands of the Sith. She just couldn't no matter what, but she had to give everything its due diligence.

Michaels frowned as he heard [member="Faith Balor-Organa"] speak. Ofcourse he wanted to find his commanding officer, not only was Valkren his old squad lead, but he was also one of his closest friends. Even if he was the same age as the rest of Saber Team, Valk' was almost like a father to the rest of his men. They all went to him for help.

"With all-due respect ma'am, if I find a man that doesn't want to rescue Sergeant Calderon, I'll put him in the ground. I guarantee you I speak on behalf of the rest of Saber Team aswell. Valkren is still our team lead, no matter where he is. The lot of you don't know him like we do, if there's evidence of him being alive, then he's alive."

The Sergeant took his hand from behind his back, tipping his service cap slightly onto the back of his head. It was odd, but it seemed like this was Jonathan's normal appearance when not in his hefty suit of commando armor. "Valkren knew a good bit about the Galactic Republic's operations in this sector. That includes supply routes and the movement of several units of marines through the area."

He reached both hands up to his cap once more, this seemed to be a nervous habit by now as he straightened the hat, his ring gleaming in the light for a moment. "We're ready to head out whenever, Ma'am."

Krenis gave a short nod to the question directed towards him. He was indeed Mando'ade, but that was a longer story that was not important at this time, or honestly, in many other times either. Maybe at a later date he could explain it. Or if anyone really wanted to know and had access, they could always check his file, if it had been recovered from back in the days. He tapped his fingers listening. That man could certainly command loyalty from his men. That was something to be proud of. He sounded worth bringing back, no matter the cost, but then, for Krenis, nobody should ever be left behind. That had been drilled into him during the Clone Wars. The Confederacy was not kind to prisoners.

He shrugged. "I can muster a team of ARCs for the operation as well. Ready to deploy as soon as the order is given."

[member="Krenis Skirata"] [member="Valkren Calderon"] [member="CT-8273 (Talon)"]

Faith nodded, "the order is given assemble the teams, let us locate and bring home Sergeant Calderon" These men would settle for nothing less than the word to be given, "I will continue to work with my agent to find out where the Sergeant is at and relay it to you as quickly as possible."

She nodded, "Any questions?"
