Private Gifts and Visions

Too long that Kyrel had been distracted with leading the war efforts of the Brotherhood of the Maw against the rising reaches of the Alliance, the Mandalorians and anyone else that wished to go against the Brotherhood of the Maw. He had neglected the training of the girls known as Willow and Ivy. Of course perhaps he delayed the training due to how brutal his own training was. These girls wouldn't be the same after venturing too close to the dark side. He even wondered if or what would happen if they touched the darkness, and so his lessons weren't entirely cruel. At least to him he managed to achieve hold of a device that had equally fascinated him with stories of the past, and also glimpses into the future.

He awaited aboard his chambers inside of the Star Destroyer known as the Devourer. Here they had met once already, and now he would summon for the girls return. The hulking monster stood before some type of device that seemed circular in shape, and showed a red lens on where images of the vision supposedly came out of. He hoped that such a gift trained in the arts of seeing and the dark side would boost the twin's ability to serve him in many ways. He could perhaps evade death itself with the help given by the two girls. With the device he could see to it that breaking them would be assured.

Slowly Grodd would approach Kyrel. The nervousness was always ever present and never seemed to fully fade away entirely. Grodd would come to Kyrel and slowly whisper. "My Wrath... The twins will arrive here shortly." He said to which Kyrel nodded to. "Good, send them here once they arrive. Inform them I have a gift for them." He would say in which Grodd would reply. "Y-Yes my Wrath I'll inform them right away." To which Grodd would quickly march back up to the bridge. Kyrel would still admire the Chronoscope as a new marvel of technological wonders to add to his collection. Hoping that such a dark machine would add to his growing level of power over the twins. He would only patiently wait for the girls to arrive and then he would show them.

Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy

Willow and Ivy had done much since their last visit with Kyrel Ren Kyrel Ren . They further entrenched the Navis Sacra on Damascus Station, and expanded their influence as their numbers grew. Not only that but they secured a unique type of Angel by the name of Ira Sarrin Ira Sarrin .

Yet all if that didn't deter them enough to delay their meeting. Kyrel had assured them that they would have their training and the twins knew it to be more vital to them than he might realize. The future was always moving, yet it's path was at times steadfast. Different factors played their part into whether or not a foreseen future would come to pass in the manner predicted. The twins had already changed their fates only to be led to one equally dangerous, if not moreso. Still they dared not to look at what was in store for them too much, lest they be driven into madness.

Arriving in a dropship inside the hanger of the Devourer and accompanied by Paladin guards, Willow and Ivy soon walked down the ramp. The air was cold and the sounds of their footsteps were hollow or tinny in tone. Their eyes took in both the interior of the ship as well as the silence of it's crew.

"The Devourer is almost tense in anticipation."

"Yes, she is more powerful now and knows something that we do not."

"But we will know soon enough, once the crew let him know that we are here."

"He knows...." Ivy knew that he did for their vessel wasn't harmed in it's approach. But that didn't mean that she was going to drop her guard.

Kyrel would wait patiently within his own chambers with this machine he admired in front of him. He bought the machine from the black market with his sum of credits, and while money was of no importance to him with the Seer twins this would amplify the natural gifts they had carried. This has also made it for the first lessons of the Dark Side training would be filled with pain, and torment unlike any other. First he had to ease into such methods with someone so young. Not that it didn’t matter to Kyrel he has had far more pressing concerns with the rest of the galaxy.

The looming shadow had stood as quietly as a statue would. Still he sensed something strangely off about them, which had warranted Kyrel to begin the training earlier than he initially hoped to start, and still there was something telling him that something would come out of breaking these girls. He couldn’t understand if the Force was onc more trying to tell him something, or if it was all simply nothing more than an illusion.

The obsidian door would soon open. Guards were remaining outside while he felt the presence of the girls coming in. His own Crimson Hand Troopers would stand next to the girls own guards. The door would close behind them and once more they would deal with the monster himself, who had only grown more powerful in the process. “Welcome… While I recognize that it has been long past our meeting… I’ve come to offer a gift.” He said turning to meet them with his death mask. A hand rubbed against the cool metal of the chronoscope. “While you two could see into the Force… This machine could function in a similar way. Perhaps you could enhance it?” He suggested when he pointed towards the machine. “I only ask is are you ready to face the dark?”

Willow & Ivy Willow & Ivy

The overall silince was what unnervered them the most as they walked through the Devourer. The twins were used to much louder environments, especially on Damascus Station. The sounds of their footsteps on the duracrete steel and of those of the many guards around them didn't sound normal. The Devourer had changed. The Angel that she had become was different than any others that they had encountered before. The twins had the curiosity to talk to her, but now was not the time. They couldn't dawdle.

Entering the chambers of Kyrel Ren Kyrel Ren , the man appeared taller than before and bigger in stature. The shadows around him were darker than the rest of the room and without even tapping into the Force, the twins could almost see the dark webs eminating from him. It made them curious about the changes in him as well, but again, now wasn't the time.

Willow and Ivy approached him, bowing their heads in unison before listening to him speak. Their gaze flitted downward to the odd machine that seemed to be gifted like they were. They had never heard of such a device before and so it must of been something ancient and rare.

"A gift for us?"

"Who knew that such a machine existed?"

The twins stepped closer to it, examining it with their eyes. Did it make a holo projection? Or did it just make sounds? What made it turn on? How did one direct which web of the Force it would follow? Neither Willow or Ivy were scientists by any means, nor engineers. All of that was left to others to work on.

Their gaze lifted from the device to Kyrel Ren's death mask. "We are ready."

"How does this machine work?"
