STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

-Gen’dai Physiology-

+Regenerative/Durable: Gen’Dai can take a lot of punishment. Complete disintegration or vaporization are the only known ways to kill a Gen'Dai. Because of this, the Gen'Dai are resilient to most wounds one might call mortal.

+Heartless: As the Gen'Dai did not possess a heart, their circulatory system functioned by way of a series of capillaries and muscular contractions which pushed blood through the body. If the Gen'Dai received a cut, that area could easily be cut off from heavy blood-flow to prevent bleeding to death while the body regenerated itself.

+Long-Lived: Gen’Dai live very long lives going ranging from to about 4,000-9,000.

+Enhanced Senses: Gen’Dai senses are acute enough to feel a human heartbeat from ranges up to 200 meters.

-Psychosis: As Gen'Dai age, their brains deteriorate leading to a loosening grip on their mind. Unfortunately for the Gen'Dai, this leads to psychosis.

-Hibernation: Gen’Dai can be forced into a dormant state if one were to dish out enough “fatal” blows.

-First Impressions: The few known Gen'Dai have been categorized as "brutes" and "dumb muscle". Because of this, most tend to think of the Gen'Dai as raging monsters. The facial appearance of Gen'Dai does not help clear up this image.

-Skills and Traits-

+Hunter/Survivalist: Gierhyst is a trained hunter, capable of hunting down big game with just his bare hands. He's spent long years surviving alone on a variety of planets.

+Skilled Warrior: Gierhyst is an excellent warrior having proficient skill in many weapons both, melee and ranged. Though he prefers melee combat because of his philosophy.

+Cultured: Gierhyst is an artistic soul in a warrior's body and while he enjoys a good fight, he is not just a brute. He loves to play music and has varying skill levels on various instruments.

-Big Guy: Large and not very flexible. Often has to make an effort to get through doorways and other spaces that are normal to most.

-Non-Lethal: Due to a personal philosophy fueled by one part pity and another part respect of life. He will attempt to end a fight without killing an opponent as long as he can.

-Flip the Switch: Sometimes your grip weakens and your temper can get the best of you. Unfortunately for Gierhyst, his normally calm demeanor can be lost some days and he loses himself in his anger, becoming a monster chasing shapes in the red mist.

BIOGRAPHY:
Gierhyst Xzun spent his youth on Coruscant, living out of one of the planets many orphanages, in which he was transferred quickly from the orphanage to the gutter as soon as the administrators could. This might darken one’s point of view but not Gierhyst. He looked onward. He fell in with a group of gutter children, surviving with them until they became gutter-adults.

The group began to split and dwindle as people set off to live their lives. Some leaving to find their fortune in with whatever luck they could make and pluck they could muster. Gierhyst eventually became one of them, a dreamer. He hopped aboard a freighter bound outward. He did not care where. He was off on an adventure. Gierhyst learned how to survive and hunt in his travels, about culture and music over many years. As friends withered and died around him he began to consider his mortality and how long he could live. It was around this time he developed a personal philosophy that if other creature's lifespans are so short, he will not shorten them further by killing them.
