He looked at her and walked over mostly to look down at her. "I will try.. maybe. I am old and honestly women are confusing. I didn't always understand Iella even though she loved me." He said it and moved. "We'll just have to see though, I imagine by the time I learn about you and your feelings... I will have done something else.wrong." He said it without humor but it was a joke before walking towards one of the rooms and the hall section he could check out. Prying open a door with his hands to check it all out and there was the smell of rotted meat from the wampa's hunting ground where they kept their food. THe jedi master was leading the way and they could get down masking their scent.

"It is a guarantee, Master Syn." He would indeed do something else wrong before he has his personal epiphany to understanding women. "I would bet my life on it!"

[member="Syn"] opened the worst door he could ever have picked. Tempest stopped short in the entranceway. "...and here we go! You see, already we could start with this choice. Why do you want to walk through here? I mean, it's obvious the Whompass have claimed this portion of the ship as their personal spot to perform their famous anti-hygiene regimen. This corridor could lead us to another place they don't prefer as much. You could continue further down and pick any other room, but even witnessing that there is nothing but rancid fodder in here to the point of death by suffocation, you still stick to your conviction in search of the diamond in the rough. I dunno, Master, but to me, you are chasing a long shot; for sure! And I am forced to suffer because of it!" Obviously, she does not believe anything valuable will be found right here!

Feeling like she might die, Tempest gasped for air.

He was looking at her and crossed his arms over his chest with a moment of curiosity towards her. "I see." He said it stepping forward and looking down at her before moving one hand out to give a look. "By all means lead the way padawan?" THe jedi master motioned with his hand for her though to lead the way. "IF you have an idea then lets hear it, use your training and intuition Tempest." He was thinking about ti and working on it for now as he focused on concealing them from whatever was down here searching and coming in the bowels of the ship. He could feel them and they were cruel, hungry and slippery in the mind.

If Tempest could read her Master's mind, she would cry out, "Oh, crap!" But she cannot, so she has no idea he is keeping secrets about knowing what is ahead. Tempest closed the door to the smelly Wampass stench and proceeded down the path. There was nothing in the other rooms but decay. There was one with another interesting find, a holograph. It had no power, so it would not generate the picture, but Tempest hoped she could get it to work once back at the Jedi base. She handed it to Syn.

At the end of the corridor she came to another hangar. This one had a very interesting find indeed. It had a rectangular shaped vehicle inside which has four wheels at either of its four corners. They each would roll across the ground in unison to make the vehicle travel. Most interesting, is that based on the smell of it, it ran on crude fossil fuels. Tempest ducked into it and tried to spark it to life.

"This whole planet may absolutely suck, but this find makes up for it entirely, Master [member="Syn"]!"

He took what she was taking from the ship and put it into the packs. There was a look on his face of neutrality but the jedi master was watching everything that they had going on for now.. He could smell and feel the thing as he placed a hand on it. "YOu found a box, it appears to be strong but I do not know what else there is. It smells like fuel has been used and is aged, we doubtfully would have any on the ship and I don't know if any could have lasted here without being in suspended animation." THe jedi master though had a smirk on his face while she was excited to say the least. So that was good and could come in handy for improving her disposition.

"And here we go! Mr. Party Pooper! If the universe were designed to run on everything you said aloud, it would implode!" She was only an apprentice concerning the working mechanisms of engines. She realized she couldn't look to [member="Syn"] for assistance. There is so much he is capable of accomplishing, but only so much Force Sight shows to him to visually attract him to any item, that the rest seems to be instinct. With his closed mind, she feels his cynicism will only limit what they can accomplish together.

Tempest did not realize that what lay ahead of them maybe eats wompass for breakfast...and that their lunch and dinner would be even more difficult the catch. She wanted the vehicle for the nostalgia, but gave up on the idea of possessing it. She would not go about sniffing out a fuel in nature's toilet...which she has Alema to thank for dumping her here.

'What can I dig up from here to show her my gratitude?'

He looked at her and didn't say anything but just stare. THen was moving and focusing on the force itself. "I am a realist padawan, we can do much but moving swiftly and within your restrictions which most masters would look at and scoff. Means I have to change more often then I would recommend." He was looking at it and the communication o his chevron sounded. "Master, there is some movement in the swamps around you. I am seeing some fo the others and hearing from Magda, seems darkside cultists have been sighted and it brought her here." That got his attention as he stretched out looking over at everything. "Well should be fun, thank you Alema."

"Well! Masters who scoff at their Padawan Learner's restrictions are not teaching fast enough," she retorted, her eyes narrowing noticeably.

She did not understand the full context of the message Master [member="Syn"] received but took it for not being a good situation to be in.

"Or maybe a girl could just be filled in a little before being dropped into such cesspools," she added. She still had absolutely no idea what the Jedi Master came here after, and based on his actions, neither did he seem to be going on any solid leads. 'Is this Alema's doing as well?' she wondered.

Just then the vehicle she was interested in moments before sprang to life with flashing lights on its gauges. Low pings and hums were heard, which increased in strength as the lights brightened and the gauges climbed. Tempest smiled at the spontaneous achievement.

"And then I figure, some people just Jedi differently than others."

He looked back at her. "Do you believe you are going to have a full itinerary for every planet. A jedi's life is complications, it is the unknown and going into it that makes the life of a jedi exciting." Where he was looking though was into the force as the jedi master heard and could feel the vehicle. "If you can get it through to a doorway we can take it with us. Seems it will make you happy." He said it and he could feel more while looking around when the slithering sound came, from vents and below. The rozzum were nasty things as several slid through and were moving like slugs across the floor. No real form, they had different arms, legs, eyes, mouths... some moved like bipeds, some like crabs. THeir reality wasn't like this and they didn't understand form. It was much like the shadows that moved in the monolith reality.

”Sure. Thanks, Master [member="Syn"],” she blurted hurriedly, noticing the scary shadows approaching. Tempest then unthinking, shoved Syn back against the door of the vehicle so that he would topple backwards into the passenger seat. She dove into the driver’s seat and stomped onto the gas pedal. She floored it straight towards the rear tear in the ship’s hull blowing through it and out of the ship. The car went airborne for a while and fell horizontal towards the ground.

She yelled in elation, “WAHOO!” The car bounced before settling on the ground and racing through the hills leaving the swamp behind. ”I’m sorry. Did you still want to be back there?” she asked Syn, studying his expression as she continued to gun it away from the ship and those creepy creatures back there.

"Leaving something like that alive back there can be dangerous if it finds a means to escape or seek more food." He said it more detached but it was practical, there were creatures it could feed off of but if it ran out then it could end up seeking new sources and that might not just be wampa's or fish and bugs. The jedi master though sat there and was looking at the vehicle as he could touch and feel the vibrations within his hand. THis was not exactly the most quiet or subtle way to get around and it would alert plenty to where they were going while spewing a trail of exhaust into the air. He could practically smell it in his nostrils while he adjusted himself into the seat. "So do you have a plan of where to go?"

”Anywhere away from all that back there! Can’t a girl just have some fun? Besides your ship is pretty inhospitable to...I would guess, everyone but you! A girl needs some fun sometimes!”

She travelled on as far as the craft would take them before it zonked out from loss of fuel. She let it coast to a stop at the bottom of an embankment.

Something lured her to venture in a particular direction. In the distance she noticed a small settlement, well concealed from aerial detection. From the style of the hut and the tools left around outside, she determined, ”Maybe a cast away, Master [member="Syn"] ?” She rounded the lot only to recognize the distinct feeling that they are being watched.

Looking at her as they continued as far as they could and the location was something he hadn't been surprised about... well there was always a chance to find life on a world if you went far enough. "I have never found the ship that bad, it gets me from place to place." Looking at her though he slid out and going towards the settlement scented the air as he caught a taste of something. The smell of tanned hide, cut vines and sound of footfalls that were trying to be muffled while sneaking around them. The jedi master stopped and remained still for a moment though before he was watching with the force before motioning for Tempest to move closer but quietly before he crouched touching the ground.
