Grey Eyed Castaway
GH05-T SPARK
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The GH05-T was produced around 796 ABY as an attempt by Cybot Galactica to break into a more casual marketplace. Nicknamed "Sparks," the GH05-T line would be marketed as companion droids with limited protocol droid capabilities such as translation, designed to fill a basic assistance role in households and aboard low-end public transit vessels. The main droid is contained in a circular inner-frame that moves via repulsorlift with a customizable outer-shell attached by magnetic features deigned to allow a level of customization unique to the owner. Sparks have limited surveillance functionality, though they are little more than a glorified security camera. While the inclusion of Low-Feedback sensors was intended to keep the GH05-T out of harms way, given their fragile nature, it has had the unintended consequence of making them particularly effective for basic infiltration.
