Getting in with the wrong crowd

Pretty new to forum RP, so i'm wanting to start with some simple threads.

Was thinking about making one involving Ta selling a shipment off unmarked blasters (Or other illicit products) for his crime syndicate while trying to avoid planet authorities.

Lemme know if you're interested, or if you have a better idea for a similar plot i could get in on.

I'm a gun runner and arms manufacturer for the Unknown Region and the Outer Rim. I've been on a long vacation so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. If you'll have me I'm more then willing to purchase such weapons to get you started. As for being chased by police or rival gang, I don't think I can help out too much.

Love the offer, but i was kinda thinking about receiving the guns from the syndicate that i work for, i had some cool ideas for it. Though i was thinking about a thread later down the road where i would need to acquire some heavier firepower on a larger scale, so i'd definitely get a hold of you for that.

Was thinking that if i couldn't find a PC wanting to buy them, i could be selling them to a local small time gang and others attempting to throw a wrench in the system.

I think I mistakenly meant the wrong thing. No I was attempting to purchase your weapons, adding new weapons to the stockpile I already amassed. Preferably weapons without serial number and laundered through local gangs. But I can always play the rival were I try to stomp you out as I could be a rival Gun Runner.

Oh OK, then you're exactly what i was looking for!
And yes, they've been manufactured on the planet Korath in one of the Gharashi Syndicate's many underground factories. Each shipment is delivered on separate ships to whatever planet the meetup is designated on. My role would be storing them until then, and making negotiations as well the transaction itself.

Oh i see, well with me selling and it looks like [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] is interested in buying, we might just have all that we need for this story.

I'll volunteer my planet for negotiation and transport unless that too far for you to transport your goods IC. If that's a problem then Nar Shaada would be sufficient for me.

Looked over it and it looks alright for me.
Also what form of payment will i be receiving? Price is negotiable but im a little under-learned of the galaxy's currencies or if there is a pretty universal one.
Other than that, fill me in on where my character should be specifically and im good to go.

Well that would really depend on the seller. Most black market stuff is sold for Ultra-Chrome Bars, sometimes rare spices, and even ships. Rarely are credits used in black market deals, or at least ones I do. If you need quick credits I can do that, I have no problem with it. It's more of your preference as Black Market deals are more trades then selling a product for cash.

I'm no really well read on your syndicate, so whatever you think you need I'll do my best to give in return.

As for where to meet, a local spaceport is perfectly fine, Jaster is Viceroy of the planet and customs can't really do much. Easy for a first time Smuggle mission.
