Public Gathering before the storm

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Location: Aurora Station's Mission Briefing Room.

Objective: Prepare the Lilaste Order members for their upcoming mission, facilitate inquiries, and enlist the support of mercenaries, private contractors, and allies.

The room is a hub of hushed whispers and murmurs as various members of the Lilaste Order convene. Overhead, the dim lights cast a soft glow, illuminating the intricate panels of the chamber. Holographic displays intermittently flash with data and starship designs, casting a myriad of colors against the cold metal walls.

Standing at the epicenter, towering above most, is Laphisto. The High Commander. stretching nearly eight feet tall. His eyes flashing a soft teal blue as he uses the force to peer at everyone gathered. surveying the gathered audience. With a gesture, the murmurs die down, and he begins his address.

"Thank you for assembling on short notice," he starts, his voice deep and resonant. "Our intelligence has recently intercepted concerning reports about the Dusate Pirates. They're mobilizing near Roldalna, amassing what we believe is an invasion force targeted at M'heali."

As he speaks, the central holographic display transitions to show a detailed map of the region, pinpointing the areas of concern.

Laphisto's gaze was unwavering as he delved into the specifics. The holographic display came to life, illuminating the room with intricate depictions of the enemy fleet. "Our scout's last report identified 14 Terrik-series Attack Frigate's, 4 Neutron Star II-series Bulk Cruisers, 5 ISFMP Stormhawk Heavy Frigates, and 34 Starhammer-series Attack Corvettes." With each mention, the hologram rendered a vivid model of the ship, spinning slowly to offer a comprehensive view of the enemy they faced.

"we suspect they are planning a ground invasion against both the factory where our AT-AE MKII Tanks are being produced. and the store house where many of our munitions and weapons caches are. the local garrison has already begun setting up LO-21/AAA , LO-22/AP And LO-24/AT emplacements in preparation for this defence. three battle groups of our AT-AE walkers will also be provided, but will need to be air-dropped into the LZ. our High Admiral Ali Kare Ali Kare will be leading the space assault. while our High General Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla commands the ground troops"

Laphisto paused for a moment eyes dancing over the group once again before pushing is arms up over his chest with a raised brow "Any questions?"

In the subsequent silence, the holographic ships continued their slow spin, reflecting off the steadfast determination visible in the eyes of those gathered. This was a call to arms, a test of mettle. Amid the cold expanse of space aboard the Aurora Station.

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
Ali leaned against the bulkhead at the back of the room, processing the details of the Dusate Pirates' bold new attack. M'haeli. That was where her fleet was stationed. Those kriffin' bastards! They never knew when to quit. But she had to admit, it was an impressive invasion force. More than fifty ships, all coming to her territory. Ali couldn't let that slide with impunity.

But the fact remained that she wouldn't be defeating the pirates with her force of a dozen or so ships. She either needed Mau'luk Squadron to aid in the defense, or she needed to start thinking of some genius tactics. " Laphisto Laphisto , will Mau'luk Squadron be reinforcing my fleet? Of course, I'm not saying I need them to utterly annihilate the enemy, but their help would certainly be welcome," the High Admiral said.

Plus, there might be some private contractors here that would be bringing extra naval support. The Lilaste Order definitely had a way of bringing random people to help them. She supposed hatred against pirates was a universal thing.

Laphisto pushed his gaze over towards Ali Kare Ali Kare . They were giving a slight nod her way. While he trusted the quality of Lilaste ships compared to whatever these pirates managed to have scrounged up it was far from reasonable to leave the system in the hands of her fleet alone. "Yes, mau'luk squadron, along with six Prototype MKII Air'mar cruisers and one MKII Edaar class star destroyer, will be commissioned under your command for this defense. The techies in the R&D department have been itching to gather data on the ship's performance. They claim one MKII is worth three of their standard counterparts. Hopefully, they live up to that bold statement."

Laphisto gave a small chuckle, shaking his head gently. It was bold of the pirates to make their attack with such force. But then again, with information gathered from their pirate 'Guests' taken in the conquest of Ropegi II, they had come to find out that the pirates were being funneled money from a mysterious benefactor. one who had set the goal that the pirates were to eradicate the Lilaste order. However, the name of said benefactor was still a mystery.

Metars Vyx

Mandated Commander of the People of Zelos

Objective: Solidify alliance with the Lilaste Order

As Metars entered the briefing room he was already quite pleased with the results of Zelos’ association with the Lilaste Order. The sidearm blaster that was supplied to him by his new allies was a large improvement over the tech that they made due with on Zelos II. Now perhaps his army would be properly outfitted, and all it would cost would be to lend manpower to the movement that would get the Zelosians on their way to being a self-sufficient military force that would make the Galactic Alliance and Rimward Trade League think twice about forcing membership.

Very few in the room were familiar to Metars. The massive High Commander was the only face that Metars knew within the Lilaste Order. And the only one that mattered at the moment. Laphisto was the one who required Zelosian troops and the one who would give them arms. Metars had sat quietly among the whispers until the High Commander finally spoke. The news of a pirate gathering near Roldalna was concerning. Even if the suspected target of the pirates was M'haeli, Zelos II was not far away. Metars was even more glad that he was here now.

Metars listened to the situation report with interest. It seemed like a lot of firepower. He wished he had more time to be familiar with the Order’s tech before the beginning of hostilities, but he was the Mandated Commander of the People of Zelos no pirate group would get the better of him and his army. There was a low grumble that no one would hear as some High General was announced as the leader of the ground defense. High General was a position that Metars expected to hold before too long. In the meantime Metars would prove to his new allies what Zelosians could be counted on to add to the Order. It would be odd taking orders. Metars hadn’t done so since his father passed his title. But it was how military worked. You assign the being you are most comfortable with to lead. Metars would be that man eventually. For now he could take orders.

“High General, my Zelosian troops will support in any way you need,” Metars announced to the High General. ”We have not had enough time to familiarize ourselves with the workings of your walkers. That being the case we stand ready to serve as infantry.”

As the High Commander and the High Admiral discussed orbital defenses, Metars listened in envy. It had been his dream to create a fleet to defend Zelos and maybe even press its authority outward. To this point he had been unable to secure funding for orbital shipyards. He had a group of engineers that had the basic designs for ships. But without materials and shipyards there was no hope of putting Metars’ dreams into motion yet. Another reason for this alliance.

Serrin

Serrin with a puff of smoke entered the ready room. She was late, which she hated, and so in Nighsister flair she projected there and found a seat. Her Nightsister robes had been replaced with a grey & black jumpsuite, that had green glowing lights on the spin in rectangles, and upside down pyramid between her breasts.

The mention of pirates sounded exciting to her. On Dathomir, her Big Sis, Navina, told her of pirates that lived free of the structures of The Galatic Alliance, Sith Order, and even The Syndicate. In her mind they were dressed in ornate clothes with beskcads, and spoke in old fashioned speech. All of this spoke to her naivety, for pirates were ruthless bandits scavenging at point of blaster, and who had no sense of honor.

The Nightsister had chosen to join Lilaste to be part of a new family. To use her talents in.
a collective, and for a purpose. She felt adopted, out of her depth at times, but adopted. It help Laphisto Laphisto was there, someone she knew from her Night Jinks.

Looking around the from she noticed a Lady hanging at the back in uniform, Ali Kare Ali Kare , who mentioned having a fleet. To this Serrin was astonished, that someone could command not one ship, but many. Something she knew was beyond her.

Then a Man, Metars Vyx Metars Vyx , was pledging Zelosian warriors to the cause. The Nightsister had no idea what a Zelosian was, heck she didn’t know what a Ithorian was, having lived isolated with her Coven. It was clear though everyone was speaking up in this briefing, and then she realized maybe she would need to say something. Looking at her datapad, she considered the information that was being shared.

She raised her gray and tattooed hand, as if asking to be called upon before saying,

Perhaps I could scout the MKII Tanks, and using my magick to create some spell traps, and keep an eye on catche of weapons.

It sounded stupid when she said it, surly they’d deploy droids or some kind of defenses better than her Ichor ideas. Still she knew she had to try and contribute somehow.
