Private Gardens sure are neat

Location: Alvaria. Marr Garden

Mariah was having an interesting time to say the least. Her progression in the force, and in her experiments, was moving fast. Fast enough she no longer had to actually be physically present
A9kYhNi.png
for all of them. Instead, she used her droid, White-6, called Arana. A considerable upgrade on white-5 who walked behind her. He was her old design, something of pure technology, Arana was the new, a combination of technology and force power. Designed to be united with Mariah in a way White-5 could not be. Still, he served his purposes.

Right now, Mariah was somewhere mostly safe. Her ship was docked, and it was as always basically filled to the brim with her drones. She never felt safe, not truly, not even here. But it was at least somewhere she could be the closest to it. Her droid on call, her weapon at her side, and drones a mere minute or two away from her command along with her hoverboard. However, she didn't carry her rather massive assortment of weapons on her. Her droid white-5 had his. Instead, she had only her Gauntlet, more of a tool and tech interface, and her lightsaber, Initiation. The second one was held by her droid Arana where she was hidden for now. Instead, she wore a dress of red and gold, that was something she at least did get to enjoy more often now. Normally used to being at work when she was out and about, now, there was a lot of time she could dress well. Maybe a little too well compared to what she was once willing to do. And of course, the ever present necklace. Something that never left her.

Now, the newly born sith walked in the garden mostly, she'd called on one of the servents. One she didn't really know. Really...she just wanted company. So far the people she met were odd, if not downright creepy. Malum scared her half to death, Adeline Noctua, though probably not deadly, felt like she was meeting the shadow that dark knowledge cast, regardless. She had hope that this one, Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae would be less...disturbing. Give her at least one person she could talk to. She hadn't sent many details to her about the request, just asking to meet her at the garden area. Her name at least held some weight now since she was a Marr, despite her age, being actually one of the newer ones. But still, it was there.

From Aeizoris time here in the Marr's place of residence, the woman had done a brief tour for herself. Getting to know where everything is, and dared to not enter where she is forbidden to go to. A strange new household, but it wasn't much difference then the Palace in Kesh. Though she might've had more liberties on where she is allowed there instead of here, but she doesn't complain. A new house to serve. A new purpose in life. A new family to befriend, and new masters to serve and learn about.

Everything as it should be in this woman's eyes.

Upon being called forth, Aeizori wasn't one to arrive late. Nay. Instead, she arrives just on time. Garbed in which ever attire the servants of this household are told to wear, she eagerly accepts this call and appears in front of the woman who had called upon her. The woman cares not for any weaponry as she doesn't seem the need to carry anything upon her. Though, once she arrives, the woman lowers her head down to show a sign of respect, going to stare at the ground and not at the woman's face. An ear flickers, her seven tails give a faint sway behind her, and then her mouth opens to speak.

"Miss, I have arrived as you requested." Her voice innocent. Blissfully aware as to what this summon was for.

But that's for her to find out soon.

Mariah smiled as the woman approached, she was certainly an interesting sight. It was hardly the first well furred friend she'd had. Mariah remembered some entertaining adventures she had with a Lepi. That was awhile ago now wasn't it. Mariah frowned again wandering if she was even still alive by now. Then again, she was still alive herself.

"Hello there," Mariah responded letting her smile return, very nearly tempted to pat her on the head, hesitating visibly now that she had to figure out what she was even going to say. How was she supposed to make friends in this situation. Mariah had outranked and under-ranked people before of course. But not in a sith society, and usually not for very long. "Um...how....have things been?" she asked.

Mariah would give her a shrug if she looked back up. What was she supposed to do anyway. She was specifically trying to socialize. What did that even mean for a sith?

Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae

Another of her ears flickers. Her gaze remains lowered, her tails sway behind her once more before falling still. It was in her best interests to not displease anyone here. After all, she is still fairly new here, and she does not want to displease any one she passes by here. That does include the woman she is standing in front of. Hearing her soft and gentle voice though does ease up some tensions, and she responds in kind.

"Things have been improving from my stay here. Master Malum had made sure to make sure that my accommodations were accounted for. Why do you ask?"

She, of course, was rather curious as to why this woman had asked. After all, she seemed to be a bit higher status then the humble servant before her. Though perhaps this one was similar to how Malum is. Desiring everyone to be in a rather healthy state. Mental and physical.

Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr

Mariah did realize apparently she had relaxed, right, it would be natural to be tense wouldn't it. Mariah was literally twitching when she met Malum, though, to be fair. She was being accused of stealing sith artifacts at the time and thought she was maybe going to die or be tortured. Still, it was weird to have that directed at her when she wasn't actively trying to threaten someone.

"That's...nice." she responded before thinking, "Well to be honest I don't really know any of these people. And sith are, to be quite frank, a little weird. And maybe a bit intimidating."

A hefty under-exaggeration of her actual opinion but that was besides the point, she was a sith now afterall. "Don't tell them I said that." she added the last part in a more joking tone then realized the womans head was still looking down, "Uh you can look up now, it's ok. I just wanted someone to talk to I guess. Thought maybe I could just talk to you?"

Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae

"The Sith can be rather intimidating. Yes. My previous experiences with them are rather worrying. The last Sith I had served saw me nothing more then a pet. Not that I couldn't do much about it at the time. So your secret is safe with me." She had responded in kind an agreement with the woman.

At the mention of looking up, she responds before looking up and staring at the woman's face directly. "Well, Miss, As a servant here I did not wish to show any disrespect. Some previous owners I have been with forbid me from looking up at them, or even their guests."

Though now she looks around this garden, wondering if there is a bench the pair could sit down and have this nice conversation with. After spotting one, she moves a hand over to point towards the nearby bench. "Should we continue this conversation while sitting down Miss-Ah." A faint gasp does escape her lips. "Forgive me. I haven't even said my name. I'm Aeizori-Mei. Master Malum's newest servant, not that he had a choice in that matter."

Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr

Gave her a look of pity at that. Yes, that did seem about right. She could almost understand it, the power a sith could wield was fascinating. They had control over almost all manners of existence, time was really the only thing that seemed to still hold the strongest sway against them. Machines, energy, even the form and type of matter, and certainly, organic beings. They were in a way the last to fall. But fall they did. She figured many sith took entertainment in merely the ability to exert new powers over new things. She'd certainly enjoyed her own creations, and those she expected to continue upon. "Thanks." she gave as her response.

Mariah smiled again as Aeizori eventually raised her gaze to actually face her,
"Well, I'm not them I guess." she offered. Mariah followed her gaze where she suggested they go sit down and nodded agreement, then hearing out Aeizori's name, she almost snorted at the last part, "Wait, he had little choice in the matter? I don't think that's usually how that works, Aeizori." she chuckled with a raised brow while she started towards the bench, "And it's Mariah, though, I guess you have a lot less names to remember if you just call everyone Marr don't you?"

Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae

"Oh, I hope you aren't. But if you are, I don't have much say in the matter. At least, I don't think I do." She gives out a faint shrug. This woman does seem nice enough. She wouldn't dare to abuse this poor fox would she? Not that Aeizori wouldn't oppose. The girl too used to taking orders. Too used to doing things for others and not for her own well-being. Regardless of this issue she has, the fox keeps up her nice gentle smile as they walk towards this bench.

"Well. It was either he accepts me, or I find another being to serve, and my Malum wouldn't want me to serve under another. Another who would abuse me, and treat me poorly." Once at this bench, she would assist Mariah in sitting down, before sitting down next to her. Those seven tails of hers move over to cover her lap now, and the fox moves a hand to calmly pet them. "And its better to know who is a Marr and who isn't. I wouldn't want to cause any disputes, Miss Mariah."

An ear flickers. Her gaze moves elsewhere. A butterfly caught her attention....

Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr

Mariah hummed at that response furrowing her brow, "I don't really know I guess." she answered genuinely thinking it over, "If I was like them, and I outranked malum. I guess the answer would be, not much choice say. Or maybe just not much choice. Not while still in sith space anyway." she realized that was as much an admission to her own dangers as it was to what this girl had an issue with. If either was put in too bad of a situation, there may be no way out. It was why Mariah was searching so hard for a type of freedom few sith ever seemed to achieve. But unlike them, her ambitions were not so vast that they would destroy her. At least, she believed so.

Another raised brow and slight smile as Aeizori explained the situation
"Your Malum? But yes, I supposed he turned out to be a lot less...unpleasant than I initially thought. Didn't realize he'd go as far as actively protecting someone from abuse though." she commented watching the many tails as she laid them on her lap, "Oh well, yes, there is that I guess. I am a Marr I was just being specific about which one. Only found that out recently myself actually. I was always named Marr, but I didn't realize I had a connection to this house until very recently."

Tac. Tac. Tac.
The finger clicked against one of the slugthrowers at his side as he walked in perfect timing of the change of a second. Face utterly blank. But his heart boiled with irritation. At so much. At Falentra's kidnapping, and at the fact he didn't get to end that miserable little woman. That was too harsh, she was capable, that made it more interesting. But neither of them died, there wasn't enough blood, enough struggle, enough death. He could feel so much of it around him at the time and yet, he didn't get to really get involved. Not as he wished. Not like he used to.
Tac. Tac. Tac.
He needed it, that flood of the hunt, of the fight, of the struggle to live. And he wasn't getting it. Then he heard a noise, that was not the sound of human skin or cloth, that was the sound of fur. A lot of fur. Not like the creatures of his homeworld, but he still knew what it meant. That much fur should be a creature, no, no. It didn't sound like a beast, it was speaking. To his mother. It didn't matter. He needed this, he'd killed sapients before, did it really matter that one random furred one died here? He'd just have to get more involved in real fights more often. His tapping stopped as the man began to approach the garden. Shrinking down, listening with not just his ears, but with the force. Hearing the hum of life, the rustle of movements.

The 6'5" Korun crouched beneath the bushes as he moved. His own senses could hear things that organic ears were simply incapable of picking up, because they were attuned to the force. If he was given away, it would be through the force, maybe through scent. But it was not likely through sound. Not...until...now! He leapt from the bushes a short sword in hand lunging at Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae his blade imbued with the force through his hand to be all the more destructive, and all the more enduring.

There was only the slightest twitch of his lips towards a smile on his face, otherwise it seemed pure focus. But in the force it was like a beast, playing with prey, hunting. Thirsting for blood and violence. With his right came the blade, but with his left there was a burst of fire in their direction.

Mariah's droid White jumped in her path activating his shield to Protect her and move her out of the line of fire. The droid was fast, but she wasn't the target anyway. This furred humanoid was.

Aeizori gives the woman a soft shrug. She would agree to her task regardless of what it was. Aeizori does belong to house Marr as a servant. At least in her mind and eyes she is. Unless something else draws her mind and eyes away.

Her attention swiftly goes back to Mariah, "Yes, My Malum. Though now he has someone else in mind." She decides to leave it at that for now. Unless the other presses forward. "I know who I am. I know how I act. I need to serve someone, be it as a servant or a slave. My entire life I've been serving underneath another, through willingness or being sold." She stops, going to look down at her tails. The tips flickering.

However, an ear soon twitches. The rustling of the bushes hints at something, but what? Her head shifts to this sound only to find out just who or what made it! Koto Demascón of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr had appeared, and unlike Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr wanting a chat, he came in swords drawn! With this sudden leap at her, the fox turns the other way and quickly scampers off not wanting to get burned or struck down by his blade. It was at this moment that the driod had came to protect them, or well, Mariah.

As quickly as she avoided the attack, she turns to face the assailant, arms out stretched in a combat stance. Her fur spiked up, her ears twitching. The day she isn't armed is a day an attack comes. Go figure. "Wh-Who are you? And why are you attacking us, those of House Marr?"

Mariah gave her an intrigued look, curious at that statement still even though Aeizori continued on. She'd have to backtrack to it eventually. Still, the girl seemed to at least believe she had herself figured out. "I thought I had myself figured out too. A scientist and a pilot, just going through life, enjoying the good parts, avoiding the bad. Now, I'm sith. Maybe you know yourself, maybe you don't." she answered. She tilted her head at Aeizori's change, and then suddenly, a sense of danger just before her droid pulled her out of the way. He moved to counterattack as Mariah backed up more drawing out Initiation and activating it then staring in surprise, "Koto?!"

The droid was fast compared to organics, and far stronger. But it had to take Mariah's safety into account if it went on the offense, which meant it was staying at a range as it drew it's blaster rifle before recognizing the man as who was, technically speaking, considered a friendly. Aeizori might essentially be considered one too, but his programming was not clear on if he should intervene in this situation or not.,

Koto did not give them answer, neither Aeizori, nor his mother, he just charged forwards, sending a blaster of fire from the hand of his shortsword towards her as his left withdrew the slughtrower and fired two quick shots one towards each leg. Though if they hit, they'd do a lot worse than a standard blaster. They packed an extreme punch to them. He didn't stop to shoot, he kept moving, full sprinting at her with the blade ready to strike. It was as much a combatants pose as a hunters and assassins.

"Koto stop!" Mariah demanded, "White use the stuns." she ordered. Her droid raised the Ir-1 and began rapid firing, that at least did slow him down a little as he was forced to dodge or deflect it with one of his short swords. Meanwhile Mariah started tapping into her gauntlet ordering for drones to come, but they wouldn't be here for a bit yet.

Even while being shot at, he was trying to make ground fast on Aeizori, which would force White to stop firing unless he wanted to risk hitting them both.

Seeing as this man is a threat now, and gave no response to her she frowns. From her own hands she moves forth to send her own wave of flames towards the man in hopes that these would counter act his and cancel one another out. As the blaster fire came, the first barely misses, the second grazes her leg. This does cause her to cry out in some form of pain and agony. Only this agony made her own flames intensify.

Her second hand reaches forth, aiming on trying to pull something towards herself in some hope of defending herself. A rake. A shovel. Hell, even a metal pipe. Anything to block any potential swings from this sword. "I-I don't know what I've done to cause this, but I-I can assure you. You don't wish to continue this strife!" She shouts out at him, finally receiving some-kind of weapon. A spade! Well its something at least.

With this spade in hand, the woman carefully back petals. Her flames dying out for now.

Mariah of House Marr Mariah of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr

His aura in the force let out a flicker of surprise, but not fear or shock, as she sent flames back at him. True they cancelled out, but he didn't bother trying to confront her power for power. At least, not in the force. By now he was angling himself such that it was impossible for White to actually hit him without risking a hit to Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae as well.

So she could use the force for that as well, telekinesis. Such a useful skill. He did not relent however, instead, her started focusing spits of fire towards her spade, intending to heat the weapon up and burn her that way. They were only small amounts at a time, but they were often, and rapid. Then tried to kick dirt up towards her eyes mid-stride immediately followed by a slug shot towards the injured leg.

He sent out in the force a surge of what he was feeling, the thrill of the fight, the pleasure of violence and blood being shed. His mother cursed at him. She wasn't very well trained in the force, and definitely not in melee combat. She relied on her tech, including white. But she was worried if white got involved and he, in whatever madness she thought he must have, turned on her. She'd be done for. Still...she felt she ought to do something until he drones could get here. She cursed again. She did at least know this, as far as she was aware, he couldn't use telekinesis yet.
"Use mine!" Mariah shouted holding her saber out, she wouldn't throw it. Aeizori would have to choose whether and when she'd take it, or not. It was not uniquely destructive, actually, it was a more defensive weapon. It had a standard blade but which could operate underater, and had a special particle shield system to protect the users hands from attack. She doubted Aeizori could use it how it would be most effective here as she likely didn't know the switch system, but it could also be switched to deactivate the blade in return for a larger particle shield rather than the small one protecting the hands and hilt.

Koto of course intended to try and intercept that, he wanted a struggle. But it didn't count as a real struggle if he had to artificially hinder himself by letting them choose when to get help.

Aeizori held the spade outwards in a way to sue it to block any strikes the man might give her. After all, he is still armed with a blade. Seeing how he desires to not combat the flames with her, the Fox girl, however, moved to keep up with such. Her hand sprays out more flames towards him in hopes to keep him from approaching her further! Then the blaster fire with the added 'pocket sand' flown at her leg and eyes forces her to stride away from him, missing the shots, but finding the sand moving towards her face!

This makes the flames stop as she had to shield her eyes, and then the spade keeps getting pelted with his own flames. Surely the heat is now getting to her hand, and she goes to outright throw the spade at him now! With that hand free, Aeizori tries to pull the saber towards herself now, and if successful, she moves to further back pedal away from the man to turn the blade on.

Still. With watery eyes, and an injured leg, this fight is definitely not in her favor. But something has to give. She has to bide her time. She has to try to incapacitate this man.

Koto Demascón of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr

She tried to spray fire back at him, it did at least prevent him from steamrolling. He had to counter it either with fire, or with a force imbued blade, or doing the same with his slugthrower. But this was still progress, this was still momentum. Another missed or dodged shot, but momentum remained. Even if his mother was intervening. This humanoid was more capable than expected, but that was just the same. He didn't care whether she was weak or strong. It was the struggle.

Mariah and White were forced to mostly stand back. Her drones were en route. But a fight could start and end fast. She threw the spade at him, he managed to sidestep and push it aside with his sword hand, but heard the saber whistle pass. Good one. Still, he wandered if she knew he'd be able to block a saber blade with whatever he held.

There was no time to slow down, no, he wanted to push this. He HAD to push this. Before either Mariah figured out how to intervene or the guards showed up and he had to try and kill them too. He attempted to urge her through the force, to attempt to sway her emotions subtly towards a mixture of panic and rage. And then he lunged again moving his shortsword in quick lunging motions while his slugthrower hand fired a shot nearly in time. Those shots were less accurate as a result of their timing, but there was still a good risk of getting hit. He was temtped to let up, just for an instant, to try and bait her into attacking. But no, there was no time for a trick like that now. He had to keep it up.

Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae

Aeizori manages to turn the blade on. Whichever color it was, She didn't really care for it, but still the woman is armed with a weapon she at least knows how to weld. Now, she does notice the little handguard it has formed, but she is unaware of what other abilities this particular blade has to offer. Another moment, she goes to wipe her eyes of the sand that had managed to get in them. Another moment...

An unknown feeling rises up inside her. Not one of fear, of being frightened, but no. Something of rage. Her fur spikes up, those tails of hers sway in the distance, and those ears of hers remain upright. Her face does change to form a more violent and angered look. Whatever he did to her, its surely working.

At the lunge he made, she swiftly side steps away aiming on dodging his blow. The blaster fire hits its mark, grazing her leg once more. A pained grunt escapes her lips, though now she moves her body forward in some attempt to tackle onto him. The force guiding her movements and strengthening the blow.

Fear has left the woman. Replaced by this subtle rage he had put onto her. Rage she desires to be unleashed.

Koto Demascón of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr

The force rippled with excitement as another slug hit her. Another as he heard the rumbling sound of anger in the force. Good, good! A lunge for a tackle! He'd go with that, he had a massive size advantage, and some other tricks up his sleeve. But he had to get rid of that blade first. He dropped his pistol instantly, instead, imbueing his own hand with the force. And shoving a single knuckle towards her saber hands wrist tendons, not just with all the force of a 6'5" man used to the violence of the jungle, but with additional destructive power that flowed through it from the force. It was a rushed attempt so was hardly as strong as normal, but it would protect his hand. Instead, his hand hit the shielding like a wall and bounced back. A moment of fear himself he instead sent a blaze of fire at her wrist while keeping his hand in the way of the blade. WIth his other, he tried to stab her in the side. Letting her tackle him

It would probably knock the breath out of him when she made full impact. But he didn't care. He could get back breath from getting hit by a 140 lb humanoid. He could not however get his breath back if she managed to jab him with a lightsaber, but then again, nor could she get hers back if he skewered her here and now. This was how it was supposed to go! THIS was what the Jungle was supposed to be like. The struggle for survival! The blood spilt and skin burned! The breath taken away!

He could hear Mariah demanding he stop still of course and trying to get help in, though she wasn't sure how to get them both safely. And she didn't yet have the strength in the force to be sure she could tear the two apart from each other or even try and slow down their movements enough. If white got involved, he very well may be used by one against the other somehow. Especially without her being in direct control of him right now.

Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae Aeizori-Mei Kaeirosae

As he punches the guard of the blade, the woman gives out a faint grin. Then the flames erupt out of his hand, and all that did was cause burns against her arm as well as the hand in which held the blade. As for his own striking against her, the woman moves her free hand in some attempt to grab onto his wrist and tries to divert his hand away to strike elsewhere, or even miss her entirely! Sadly, this deflection causes a tear to be heard and a scrape against her side. His blade does run red with blood.

Her tackle does come to fortition, and she rams into him. Her head against his chest, and with her own force empowering her, she tries to force him onto the ground! If successful, she moves her 'free' hand in an attempt to pin his blade welding one to the ground. The arm welding the saber moving upwards. Now if she wasn't stopped at this point, Koto might find his end. or at least a nasty scar. Of course, all of this was an attempt....

Mariah could intervene... and the Fox would be none-the-wiser.

Aeizori has devolved into hissing and snarling at the man. Rage inducing strikes. Poses.

Koto Demascón of House Marr Koto Demascón of House Marr

Bleed, bleed, bleed. He could hear it, the sound of blade slipping across skin. Of blood washing across it and running down metal and flesh. They were back! Back in the jungle! Back on Harun Kal! He was at home again. She slammed into his chest and pushed him down forcing most of the air out of his lungs in a grunt. He tried to wrap his legs around her waist and back to make sure she couldn't leave but she was already going in for an attack, his attempt at her blade hand having failed.

Oh, that wasn't good. His sword hand was not on course due to its own attack a moment before, his other, though imbued with the force, might struggle here. But he wasn't planning on stopping, he tried to get his hand in the way, feeling the hit of the blade as he only barely managed to bounce it slightly off course with it. It burned his hand slightly, but due to the skill he had, it didn't destroy it. And then there was a sense of pain and shock in the force as he barely managed to slide the blade off his chest, though it burned him the whole way across. It didn't come out in his voice, not because he didn't feel it, but because he was used to his expressions being sent through the force rather than through his face and voice. That wound burned into him.

But this was survival. He tried to reach for her throat with one hand and with his blade hand, slide it up to the hilt so he had leverage against her to constantly try and veer it off course while he attempted to grab her throat to strangle her.

Then the stun bolts would come. With both of them on the ground, Mariah took the IR-1 from White and started pouring bolt after stun bolt towards the both of them. Intending to capitalize off their current position to try and prevent further bloodshed as soon as possible. White-5 meanwhile tried to lunge for them from the other side, attempting to grab them both by their backs and rip them away from each other other, using one foot to attempt to pin one of Koto's arms and to try and keep him down.

The droid, fortunately, could actually use it's inhuman agility and strength in this situation finally. Of course, force imbued strength may very well be enough to overcome him. And while he had high speed and combat programming. He was not as capable as a true sith knight in skill nor had their precognition.
