The Dominion of Aduba III
Alright ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to get the train moving once again. We're expanding to the east: Aduba III here we come! The thread will be going up tomorrow morning, and everyone will be tagged/linked as always! Let's keep up the exceptional work and knock out these 100 posts like we always do.
The Story
The lawless, anarchist world of Aduba III has changed over the Four Hundred Years of Darkness. While it was once a desolate place, with the only source of civilization being a few scattered villages: organization came in the form of New Haven: the new capital of the planet. For centuries, this ramshackle city has lived in relative peace, relying upon its walls of junk and scrap to defend it against High Hounds and other villages...but the return of the fabled Behemoth has brought the walls tumbling down. Now, it falls to the Confederacy of Independent Systems to provide assistance to this budding hub of civilization, before it is wiped off of the map for good.
Objectives
- Objective A - Archon's Team
With the walls of New Haven damaged beyond what the people are capable of repairing, the Archon's team will focus upon relief. With the help of labor droids, they will begin reconstructing the walls; in addition to providing food, water, medicine, and other valuable supplies to the people of New Haven.
- Objective B - Talon Squad, Titan Squad, Military Personnel
The surrounding villages, composed of cannibalistic, psychotic people who cannot even be considered human any longer, have taken the fall of New Haven's walls as an opportunity to strike. They are mounting an assault upon the city, and it falls to the Confederacy to stop them. Between New Haven and the ravenous horde is a gorge that the enemy must not cross. It is there that the militant forces of the CIS will make their stand and defend New Haven.
- Objective C - Venom Squad, Templar Order
The return of the Behemoth, and its subsequent control over the High Hounds, is a matter in need of investigation. The suspicion is that the Dark Side is the underlying culprit. As such, Venom Squad and the Templars are to investigate the supposed lair of the Behemoth, put down the beast, and find out any information regarding its revival and who is responsible.
