"I'm not little..." she said at first in her act to look cool and be tough, but she quickly regretted it and grabbed her dad's hand again. She liked being his little star, and she really didn't want him to stop calling her that. It was a name he had given her before he disappeared for a while, and it would always remind her of him.
The two Jedi then finally reached the entrance of the city, and as expected, several armes guards appeared. They didn't raise their weapons and they didn't feel threatening though, but it was obvious they were suspicious.
Perhaps it would have been different if there hadn't be city people with the group already.
"Very well, give us just a moment," Zarel, the head of the scouting party said before she stepped forward and allowed the guards to lead her into the city. Vera watched it happen, blinked and looked at her dad, then at the leader of the Hill people not far behind him. Which reminded her, "I don't even know his name. I should have asked that, huh?" She giggled but her little multi-colored eyes then spotted something that drew her attention away completely. Something more important than this Elder's name.
A food stall.
But she had to focus.
But snackies...
Her stomach growled and puppy eyes shifted up to her father already. Fuzzy, however, was not waiting for permission and appeared from her backpack to sneak his way over to the food stall. He was on a mission to acquire food, and he had no coin.
