Description: Gail Weller is a very tall young Human woman with clean, unblemished fair skin, washed shoulder-length wavy dark brown hair; she usually keeps tied up in a well kept simple ponytail with bangs parted down the middle a sharp nordic nose and thoughtful almond-shaped blue eyes. Gail possesses a lithe build and frame, albeit a very muscular physique. When out of uniform, Gail usually wears a navy coloured blouse beneath a double-breasted burgundy coloured jacket beneath a velvet overcast, midnight blue dress trousers, a pair of rugged belted hide leather boots and forearm-length leather gloves.

Personality: Decisive and assertive, Gail is a passionate and honest woman with a strong sense of duty. Intelligent and perceptive, Gail grew up in Galidraan's aristocracy and then studied on Coruscant as a teenager. Despite her relative youth, Gail has already acquired a cynical outlook on life. Gail rapidly realised there was a simple truth to the universe; that the strong would prey upon the weak. The strong do what they will, and the weak suffer what they must. Gail dislikes this dark reality and does what she can to alleviate the imbalance where possible. It is fair to say that Gail has a solid sense of righteousness and wickedness. Actor: Gail is a former and talented actress. She is adept at assuming behavioural characteristics, mannerisms and behaviour not inherent to her character in flawless, seamless transition. This manifests as an uncanny ability to tell confident lies and bluffs when desired. It makes her an absolutely vicious opponent in games of strategic chance and excellent at persuading others to provide outcomes favourable outcomes to herself.

Designated Marksman: Competition shooting is a sport that Gail participates in away from work; she has been honing her skills for several years and has a considerable amount of raw talent. In a combat setting, Gail has experimented with using magnetically sealed studs that can be fixed against surfaces in urban terrain to redirect her blaster fire along the desired trajectory, Gail trigger and breath control along with its' impact on precision. Gail also has a solid understanding and skill with well-sighted and proximity shooting.

Tactical Driving: As a member of the Imperial Security Force, Gail has undergone advanced tactical driving courses for fast land-based wheeled and repulsor vehicles. Gail, as a result, can keep and operate vehicles such as Airspeeders and Speeder Bikes with coordination, skill and efficiency generally not seen outside of fully-fledged force wielders.

Arachnophobia: Gail has a nearly crippling fear of spiders. She hates and is terrified of them. Given the decision between punching a man twice or size or attempting to swat a giant spider, Gail will hit the man every single time. When Gail has identified the presence of a spider, she will struggle to take her attention and focus away from it. Unfortunately for Gail, spiders are endemic through the galaxy, especially in warmer or tropical climates.

Lightweight: With a physique geared toward Endurance and not strength, Gail's muscles are modest in size and stretched over a tall frame for a Human woman. She is less able to resist blunt-force injuries and struggles to manipulate heavier weapons. There is also an occupational hazard that arises from her weakness compared to some of her colleagues in that Gail struggles to perform casualty drags of her colleagues.

Protective instincts: Gail is quite protective of her subordinates and dislikes it intensely when commissioned officers institute policy that she perceives to be to their detriment. Gail's compulsion to protect those she cares about can result in her acting or speaking out where it might be inappropriate; her attachment to their lives means she is liable to engage in irrational or illogical decisions under extreme duress if it means Gail can protect someone.

Biography:
Gail Mieke Weller is a young Human woman who serves as a Sworn Officer of the Imperial Security Force, a Gendarmerie responsible for providing security and policing services under the New Imperial Order's administration executive government. Gail is a veteran of the third Imperial Civil War. Gail was born on Galidraan in the deep south of that mountainous world into a family firmly entrenched in the landed gentry. Gail is the daughter of Josef Weller, a prominent officer. Josef served in a shadowy fascist paramilitary and political organisation that eventually evolved into the "Galidraani Free State" and a Coruscanti mother. Due to Josef's influence, Gail attended a prestigious local military school on Galidraan and, as a result, became a very disciplined child, which produced success in her academic studies.

As a child, Gail wanted her parents to love her and sought out their affection and approval. Still, a lifetime of military service and politicking had left Josef emotionally unavailable and callous. He seldom smiled, which led Gail to develop a strong sense of independence and self-reliance at the cost of a sense of mercy for those who she came to perceive as an enemy or obstacle. This was contrasted to Herleva, Gail's mother, who introduced her daughter to books and reading. Gail and her mother Herleva would often discuss their favourite authors, bringing the two of them together. The books and her mother's gentleness instilled a genuinely compassionate nature into Gail even as she had already been hardened to those people or obstacles that would offer opposition to her relentless march through life.

What Josef lacked in emotional availability with his daughter, he somewhat made up for in his dedication to country and duty. Though he couldn't be warm or affectionate with his daughter, he never lied or tried to deceive Gail, which taught her honesty and the value of one's personal honour. When she was thirteen, Josef purchased Gail her first weapon, a long antique firearm with a hand-actuated bolt complete with an adjustable telescopic sight on a fixed mount. Gail would hereafter take an interest in competition shooting and joined a local shooters association on Galidraan. Though she did not begin as an expert, she continued with the hobby. She made friends through the sporting shooters association. It was around this time that Gail's baby brother Reiner Weller was born.

Gail graduated from Secondary Schooling about sixteen years of age. She immediately grew out her hair, shirking military school's regimented regulation almost immediately. Gail went on to study Political Science and Criminal Justice at the University of Coruscant. She became introduced to acting and singing through extra-curricular courses. Gail released three singles broadly in the dusk genre as a lead vocalist with other university musicians from Coruscant. The tracks were met with only modest success locally. Still, they were circulated through Galidraan's holonet, where they were met with excitement and received critical acclaim. Shortly after that, while studying, Gail obtained a leading role as the antagonist in an opera production as an "Anran Cade". Cade in the script was an ancient Jedi Padawan and commissioned officer of the Galactic Republic who betrayed that government during a war.

The opera's debut in Coruscant's galactic city was attended by Ailsa and Josef. They were pleasantly surprised by their daughter's raw talent for acting, although, as the daughter of a Galidraani gentleman Josef piled pressure on Gail to accept a suitor, which she with blunt flatness refused. Gail graduated from the University of Coruscant at the age of twenty. Gail scored a moderately successful performance providing her voice and likeness to a supporting character named "Jenn Grier", the Chief of Security of a civil mining ship that was the setting of the moderately popular survival-horror holo game "Omen". Gail's performance was received well enough to create additional content where Jenn Grier was the protagonist, and Gail reprised the role. Gail was determined to make a career out of acting at this point, making a modest amount of credits and renown for herself. However, her life plans were turned upside down when her younger brother was murdered by the Sith-Empire in an airspeeder bomb attack that was supposed to claim Gail's whole family.

Losing Reiner threw Gail's family into a frenzy, Josef openly put the family's political support against the Sith Empire. They fled Galidraan wholesale into the embrace of the fledgling New Imperial Order who were fighting against the Sith Empire. Gail, incensed and grieving for losing her innocent baby brother case aside from her comfortable life as an actress, joined the newly formed Imperial Security Force as a Gendarme. It didn't take the former military school graduate long to re-adjust to the discipline of military life, Gail settled in well into her new role, and while she wasn't the best recruit from her class, she still earned praise for her attention to detail and quiet endurance drove by a desire to persecute the Sith and their barbaric homicidal ideology of theocratic dominance off the face of the galaxy.

Swearing her oath on an Imperial Academy parade ground, Gail was appointed as a Private First Class into the Bastion Station Security Enforcement Guard. She would frequently be deployed on various security operations through New Imperial space and fight Sith-Imperial insurgents and terrorist groups. She was ever disciplined, Gail's competition shooting paid off, and she was nominated as her platoon's designated marksman. Providing overwatch for them on operations. There were many casualties through the counter-insurgency campaign. In one incident, Gail received a penetrating pneumothorax injury on a rooftop courtesy of a former Sith-Legionnaire's counter-sniper tactics. Gail was pulled out of that situation by a courageous Security Officer named Emeric Harlow, who, after getting the crippled Gail to cover, ran into the open and planted anti-personnel mines to frustrate the Sith's advance.

Gail and Emeric became friends, with the two having a common origin in Galidraan, albeit from two spectrums of social classes and temperament. Emeric was warm and cordial; laughter came quickly to him. Whereas Gail was stoic and cynical. Gail would be promoted to the rank of Corporal and went on to receive a letter of warrant with surprising speed; if she weren't competent, rumours might have taken root that it was achieved through political nepotism or social favouritism might have been believed. Gail cross-trained as a Gunship pilot and received certification to operation Gunships in an atmospheric and vacuum environment; her hand-eye coordination developed through competition shooting was a valuable skill for flight, as she discovered. With the war against the Sith Empire concluded and Galidraan brought into the New Imperial Order, Gail believes her work isn't done and is inclined to make a career of the Imperial Security Force.
