STRENGTHS

• Modular Transport: The Roc is capable of not only lifting it's own massive weight, but with it's twin ion engines, is capable of lifting a massive amount of weight. Designed to have both it's cargo bay removed for larger lifts, but also has the traditional cargo bay to carry large quantities of men and supply at a moment's notice.
• Built Si Tough: Designed with the intention of going head first into a combat zone, the Roc is designed to shrug off anything short of heavy anti-air. Between the heavy shielding, the several layers of armor, The Roc is a tough bird to knock out of the sky.
• Big Bird, Coming In: The Roc is capable of deploying a massive bubble shield around itself, reaching several meters outside of it's own canopy. This allows to to protect not only itself, but whatever it's carrying, allowing for safer loading and unloading in a hot LZ.

WEAKNESSES

• Stuck in Place: The heavy bubble shield, while powerful, locks the Roc in place. While it can do this while still hovering, the Roc is incapable of moving while the shield is still active.
• Slow Going: The Roc is not the quickest speeder in the fleet. Designed more for hauling than maneuverability, the Roc will definitely not survive without some sort of escort or air superiority.
• Not a Space Ship: While the Roc is designed to be space worthy, it's not designed for space travel. Capable of short flights, the Roc isn't designed as a long haul transport. It is reliant on larger ships to transport goods between systems. She's just there to get it to the ground.

DESCRIPTION
Designed as a new way for the GADF to transport ground bound materials and equipment into the field, the Roc acts as a compliment to the GADF's new doctrine of massive beats of steel, accompanied by elite swarms of infantry. Soldiers and Monsters all need to get to the battlefield to be effective, and the Roc is there to get you there. Capable of hauling machines several times it's own size, the Ion engines installed, while re engineered to be slow, are capable of lifting massive amounts of weight.
