DESCRIPTION
The FXR Multipurpose Droid is a design based off of the infamous DUM-series Pit Droid once created by the long defunct Serv-O-Droid Inc. Like the DUM, it is intended to be used for repair and maintenance of vehicles and starships/Ssarfighters, and is capable of lifting significant amounts of weight for its size. Unlike the DUM, however, the Fixer is not an incompetent droid at all, paying far more attention to safety and repair of whatever it has been assigned to than its ancient predecessor. The Fixer also has a secondary purpose - combat protocols that allow its small and agile frame to accurately engage enemies with a wide variety of weaponry, including vibroblades, blaster pistols, rocket launchers, and many more types of weaponry. This was intended to make the droid both deceptively difficult to engage and surprisingly capable of defending static facilities. The droids are deliberately made more intelligent than their predecessors, though this does come at a cost - they are more fragile than a comparable combat droid, and a couple of blaster bolts or the blade of a lightsaber will easily dispatch them.

The droid does have a notable ability - a spring jump, performed by the droid contracting into its 'disabled' position and suddenly extending itself to normal activating size. This allows the FXR to leap several feet in the air - or forward at a high rate of speed if the legs are angled towards a target.
