CONCEITED
My thoughts:
- I believe the High Council should be represented by three Jedi, from each Jedi sect wishing to join this united Jedi Order. Three of the Jedi should be representatives from their respective sect. In my brief skim over the OP, I read that it should be these sects Grandmasters and then other council members. I have no problem with this.
Additional spaces should be left opened to accommodate the Rogue Jedi, who wish to participate and rejoin Jedi society. I am unsure the process of how these rogue Jedi should be implemented, but that should be the first problem to be tackled by those who will join the council.
- Promotions should be left internal to their respective Jedi Orders. For example, if the Silver Jedi wish to promote someone, when the Republic Jedi nor the Alliance Jedi should have a say in that promotion (unless they are a member of both, as per site rules). This is to avoid power struggles etc. We want to avoid drama llama.
- The United Jedi Order should establish a temple on a prominent Jedi world. Ossus comes to mind. I believe if this is to work, then all Jedi involved- from the bottom up- should center roleplay, training and discussion from this location, working from it for their respective faction allegiances (Galactic Republic, Galactic Alliance, Silver Sanctum etc).
I think this would promote more collaborative efforts in the effort to restore peace. This might seem cheeky to some, but I'd really like to see Jedi from Sanctum, Alliance or unaffiliated coming to help the Pubs out against the OS. (Feel free to ignore this if you are not interested).
- No to NPCs. They are open to manipulation. Keep decisions and power in the council. Having an NPC undermines any voting system that the council should use for decision making.
- Mentioned this before, but the OS should become focal in the Jedi coming together to confront evil.
