He smiled.

"There is the difference." Vrak said quietly. "I do not fear the discovery of my world, nor my people."

In fact, he was counting on it. Athiss was not ready yet, there was still much to do in order for his world to move forward. Others held him back, attempted to keep his world hidden, but in the end they would be proven wrong and cast aside. His people were bound for a return to power, Vrak was more than confident of that. It was the crux of his plan, and although Jamie did not know it, his imprisonment might very well help with that plan. If everything didn't fall apart while he was gone.

"I accept that thousands of us may die." That was only inevitable.

"Peace is not our way." Vrak said simply. "We were made to rule, to dominate. That is our lot in life. Not to sit idly on our world, waiting and watching."

It was clear that he felt strongly about this, and for good reason. This was a fight he'd had with The Council dozens of times, a fight that he was still taking on every day back on Athiss.

She held up a finger and shook her head.

"All of you will die." Just like all of the Sith that came before Vrak, each one believing in this grand scheme that they were the chosen ones, the ones destined to rule the galaxy, the ones that saw clearly. They knew the path, not those before them. They were correct. Vrak was no different. He would find himself crushed beneath the boot of a Jedi much more powerful than she, cut down with the only realization being that he was wrong, before eternity grasped his final breath.

"You're going to fail. Even if by some stroke of luck you escape your fate here, you will die if you seek war, like your ancestors before you."

But if he didn't fear the discovery of his world, why did he lie to her on Prakith? His words conflicted his actions.

"Where are you from? You never gave me an honest answer."

"Perhaps." He said with a smile. "Perhaps not. Even if most of us die. Even if you manage to whittle us down to but a single man or woman."

He at least accepted feminism. "It only takes one to rule."

A small, foreboding smile crept upon his face. His words spoke to the length of which he was willing to go. The slaughter of an entire people should have been a horrifying thought, would have at least made some people twitch, but for Vrak there was nothing. He didn't truly care about his people, not in a sentimental or nationalistic sense. It was odd considering what pride he put upon himself, how he saw Purebloods as something that were simply better.

Perhaps it was because of their penchant for narcissism, his own included.

"Korriban." Came another lie mixed with truth.

Cue eyeroll.

"You're lying again."

How did she know? She didn't entirely know it was a lie, just incredibly unlikely. Korriban was nothing but an empty wasteland. The Silver Order had extensive archived data of the planet as well as Dromund Kaas that she had spent some time reading up on. Both worlds were barren wastelands, littered with tombs long since raided and festering heaps of darkside energy. They were also incredibly well known. If his people and their empires scattered, like he claimed, they would not be on either planet. "You do care about them being discovered."

She leaned close to the crimson skinned man, likely enough to make him feel uncomfortable. "Why is that?"

There was a puzzle piece to put there. She wanted to know where it belonged. Why he wanted to hide it from her?

"I am not ready yet." Vrak said simply, and that was the truth of the matter. Athiss would eventually be revealed, people would find it and in turn would find his people, but he was not yet ready to have that happen. If someone were to discover them now it wouldn't be the end of everything, he had ensured this, but it would set his plans back by years, possibly even decades.

That couldn't be allowed to happen.

Of course, this was provided that he would actually be able to escape this facility, provided that they wouldn't kill him or sever him from the force. If the latter happened he wouldn't be able to do much of anything at all. His people would mock him, exile him, or perhaps even kill him themselves. He would lose too much power. It was, in effect, the worst option. As a Pureblood incapable of using the force he'd be seen as less than a slave, his influence would fall faster than one could imagine.

So it was best to deny that option could happen at all.

He would have to refocus himself on breaking free.

Already he was making some headway. She didn't trust him of course, but by the way she spoke, her body language, she was growing ever more comfortable with how things were. That was good. It meant eventually he'd have his shot.

"So you're afraid."

The thought amused her. It likely didn't amuse Vrak. She was slowly putting some of the pieces together.

"You're afraid you may not be destined for perfection you are so determined to find."

The girl had no real idea what kind of social hierarchy his people had on whatever planet they took up, but she had confirmed that he was not of Prakith nor Korriban. She had determined that he was deathly afraid of being severed from the Force, and that wherever his people were hiding, it appeared that he hoped, if he was not already she assumed, to be some kind of leader. That was why he lied to her.

"I see now."

The part that confused her was that if he was so determined not to reveal his presence and that of his people, why he would constantly venture off world.

"So why come after me at all? If you weren't ready for your people to be discovered. You took a very big risk."

[member="Jamie Pyne"]

"It is not fear. It is strategy." Simple matter. If Athiss were to be found now then he'd have to spend another few decades building up enough power to do as he planned. Time he had, but it would annoy him a great deal. He didn't care if Athiss was destroyed when he was finished it, nor did he really care if his people perished. There was only one end to all of this, the one that he had been planning for his entire life.

A shrug rolled over his shoulders.

"I am not infallible." Unfortunately. "The risk was there, yes."

He had to admit that much at least. "In the end, I suppose I will see what comes of all of this."

Vrak tried to hide the uncertainty that lay just beneath the surface.

"Perhaps you will execute me." He said simply. "Or perhaps this will make me stronger. We won't know until the end."

"I assure you, as much animosity as I have for you, your death will not be by my hands."

He had come close to earning that on Prakith. Mere seconds separated him from his demise there, but she had managed to regain her composure before it was too late. That singular moment in time had frightened her more than anything really. The fact that she had nearly lost everything she believed in due to one moment of wild anger.

"Perhaps I will visit you from time to time in stasis."

Of course that would be substantially less enlightening. "I will be the only one doing the talking by that point, though." A fact that honestly disappointed her, but safety was paramount, and he was too dangerous to leave to chance. "If it is any consolation your leg will heal during your incarceration." The girl set everything back onto the tray, standing back up. "Unless they choose to sever you. Then I suppose you'll be left in a cell much like this."

[member="Jamie Pyne"]

He gave her an amused smile. Stasis. So that was it. If they decided to imprison him then it would be within a stasis field. Interesting enough he supposed, though in truth he found himself somewhat disappointed. Taheera had spoken of Magma Cells suspended over Lava. Maybe that was just what the Alliance did, Naboo seemed to be somewhat more peaceful. Stasis however would prove to be a problem. He could do nothing if frozen in carbonite or something similar.

"If you believe I'll make it there." He told her with a smile.

There was of course a chance that the others would find him. Logic dictated that he was taken, and if Lord Sitas and his other allies decided they needed him back sooner rather than later they could very easily work out that he had been taken to Naboo.

He imagined his face was already on the news. 'Deadly Terrorist Captured' The headlines would read.

Vrak would have to break free before they put him in stasis then, before the trial finished likely. A frown pulled at his lips and briefly he wondered just how he would drag out the proceedings.

Silence fell over the cell. The sound of her tongue clicking against the roof of her mouth rang out several times. Jamie then bent over, leaning in close to Vrak, her soft blue eyes glaring into his darkened red orbs. For a few seconds she lingered, as if searching for what might be some kind of soul within him. Then, as a gentle whisper she spoke into his ear.

"I will see to it personally that you do."

Shifting off to the side the blonde picked up the tray and wandered towards the open door of the man's cell before turning. "Is there anything else I can get for you in the mean time?" The woman had a warm smile on her face, knowing full well the treatment she received during her brief time as his captive was far less pleasant. The difference to her was that she still held morality above all else, whereas Vrak would kill his own mother if it meant it earned him a snippet of power.

For a second Vrak didn't say anything.

Her threat, if it even counted on one, posed somewhat of a problem. Escape needed to happen no matter what. He could not stay in stasis, nor could he allow himself to be severed from the force. Both options simply lost him too much. He had no idea whether or not execution was an actual option. She had spoken of it, but for some reason he doubted very much that she had been serious. That really only left the other two.

The Pureblood frowned for a moment.

"Yes." He said in answer.

There weren't many options left open to him. He would simply have to remain observant, take in anything and everything that he saw around him as he moved and hope that someone from Athiss came looking. Vrak didn't like the idea of needing rescue, but he was stuck in a cell, there was not much he could do, not unless the Naboo made a mistake.

He paused for a second more then continued. "A lawyer."

The girl perked an eyebrow. The Sith would be hard pressed to find a lawyer willing to take his defense, at least, none of the reputable ones, and certainly not for free. The mere fact that he was Sith, accused by a Jedi, and an official of the government would put the man at difficult odds. But if that was what he wanted Jamie wouldn't deny him the option.

"When you arrive at the prison I will inform the warden you have requested a lawyer."

Until Vrak arrived there he would not have on file any charges levied. At the moment he was still considered simply detained.

"However, additional precautions will be implemented to prevent your likely attempt to escape." Namely Force restrains, rather than shackles.

The blonde reached forward, pulling closed the gate and placing her hand back over the security lock to once again seal the man in his cell. Jamie then returned to the shield panel and reactivated the ray-shield over the minuscule room he resided in for the time being. "I will return to escort you when they are ready." Jamie then waived her hand over the camera, waited a few more moments for the clank of the cylinders and the door to open once more before she stepped outside and out of view of the Sith.

The massive door would then close and lock, leaving Vrak alone to his own thoughts once again.

Vrak stayed quiet.

This time he didn't try to move the shackles too much, there was no point. The key had been taken from him and new restraints would likely be put into place anyway once he left this facility, that meant he would have to think more about how to do this.

The best option was damaging his collar somehow.

The device wasn't all that well built, he could feel how fragile it was every single time he moved it. Perhaps if he threw himself against something, or got one of the guards to shock him it would break it just enough to allow him a trickle of the force. Once he was able to grab his power once more he'd be able to do...something. Even while in stasis, as long as the Darkside of the force was available to him he'd be able to have an effect on his surroundings.

Even if minimal.

He glanced up at the Camera in the corner of the cell, considering his options.

Several hours later Vrak would hear the familiar sound of the outer door unbolting, followed by the loud creaking of the hinges as light flooded the isolation chamber. The Sith would hear three sets of boots wander in, one being the soft patter of Jamie's feet, the other two heavier sets belonging to the guards escorting the woman. One stopped just inside the entryway, while Jamie continued on to the front of Vrak's cell. The third passed by, proceeding to the panel that controlled the ray shield. A number of keys were pressed, likely the same that Jamie had used earlier, and the low humming of the shield dispersed, leaving the room in an eerie silence.

"Vrak." Jamie said softly, her hand pressing against the biometric release for his cell, thereby releasing the lock on that as well. "Time to go."

The man was likely in no condition to walk unassisted by this point, though she still hadn't trusted him nearly enough to simply use a crutch. Instead the man closest to the door pulled in a gurney, similar to the one he found himself on initially when he arrived. On it sat a tray with a syringe and vial. One would assume it was a sedative, for everyone's safety. "Please do not resist my guards and they will not harm you." Regardless however, he would be taking a dose of the sedative just to be certain.

Vrak sat on the metal bench, his head leaned back against the durasteel behind him. He heard the foosteps approaching of course, but he didn't open his eyes until he heard the rayshield drop down from in front of the metal bars. Slowly his neck craned, his eyes settling on Jamie as she stood in front of the door. The Pureblood glanced towards the guards standing behind her, then at the syringe. A small frown settled on his lips, though he said nothing of that.

"I cannot stand." Came his simple answer.

The Pureblood didn't want to resist on purpose, or rather he knew that doing so would be foolish at this point, but his leg had swollen to a point where walking was an impossibility. Standing up was completely out out of the question, even if he had wanted to. The Gurney was a bit too far away for him to even get there.

He frowned at what he would say next. "I will require assistance."

It pained him to admit.

Jamie looked to one of the guards, specifically the one who had managed the ray shield at the far end of the room. "Help him, please."

The man nodded, stepping into the cell while Jamie took charge of the gurney, pulling it inside the chamber so that the distance to travel was far less for the two of them. The guard would help lift Vrak, as well as allow the Sith to use him as a crutch to reach the softest surface he had likely sat on in several hours. Notably the blonde had already taken away the small tray of medical supplies intended for Vrak before the two would reach the stretcher.

While the woman began to fill the needle with the contents of the small bottle she explained to Vrak what would be happening.

"You're going to be transferred to the maximum security isolation chamber. I am going to sedate you. You may lose consciousness temporarily. We are then going to fix Force restraints to your hands and feet for added protection. You should not experience any unnecessary discomfort."

Any more than he likely already felt. "It will also alleviate your leg pain." She added, pointing to the man's leg.

"Once we arrive you will be brought to stasis, where you will await a hearing for your trial, and to meet with a lawyer, should one opt to take your case."

So stasis did not mean suspended animation, he frowned for a moment and pondered on it, then decided that perhaps it meant one of those odd pods where one simply...floated between two points. He had seen the contraptions before, on the ship of that other Bounty Hunter, the one he had hired.

It made sense to use one of those devices. Force users mostly worked on gestures. Their hands of even feet moving, their heads nudging to the side. Without those movements the force was far more difficult to actually utilize. If he was forced to stay still he would still be kept alive, and more then that he would actually feel the passage of time, so unlike being frozen in carbonite it was actually a punishment. Still, it was an assumption, one that he wouldn't be sure of until he got to the actual prison cell.

The guard stepped towards him, one arm looping around his lower back. I will kill this woman.

Vrak thought to himself as a grunt escaped his throat.

This was humiliating beyond anything he could ever have thought of. He could barely move on his own, most of his weight falling on the guard who quietly brought him over towards Jamie. He eyed the needle that lay in her palm and for a brief few seconds he considered lashing out. Headbutting her, smashing himself against her, but he knew that would only lead to harsher treatment. He had to wait, had to bide his time. There was going to be a way, even with the sedative.

His lips thinned as the Guard placed him on the gurney and Jamie stepped closer to him, the needle quickly sliding beneath his skin.

The last thing the Sith would see or hear before his consciousness was slowly taken from him would be Jamie's face and voice as she spoke to the guard to prepare him for immediate departure.

Night night.

Vrak might hear the occasional muffled voice as a number of humans chattered back and forth throughout an untold amount of time. His body would feel as fluid as water, thoughts near impossible to form, eyesight nothing but a hazy blur. Once or twice he might catch a focused glimpse of a person peering down at him as he was moved, but in general the most the Sith would feel would be his body atop the gurney as it rolled along its' path to wherever its' destination was to be.

The man would eventually come to, his eyesight and hearing returning, despite the limited light provided in the chamber he now found himself in. Wrists were bound by Force cuffs, as were his ankles. Floating between two anchor points just a few feet off the ground. The walls were barren. The only light provided were a series of small blinking strobes around the hatch off in the distance, controlled by the main tower that overlooked each of the prison cells. Several cameras with the ability to see through darkness peppered the room, each one focused in different directions. If Vrak looked closely, he would see Jamie sitting a few feet away just in front of him, watching in silence.

For a brief few seconds he tried to struggle against the restraints. A small nudge at first, then a stronger pull, then again. He scowled as he realized that there was no way to even budge the things, the force of the odd tractors holding him in place better than any chain could ever hope to. The collar was still around his neck, though a bit more loose than it had been before. He wondered if they had done that on purpose or if it had moved too much while they'd transferred him.

A scowl settled on his lips. He'd thought he would wake up before they got him here, he'd thought he would have opportunity. Vrak slowly opened his eyes, letting his gaze dart from place to place as he searched the hollow room. When he found nothing that could help him his eyes slowly turned to the one figure he recognized.

"I see you just can't get enough of me." His voice brimmed with confidence.

Bravado was all that he had left at this point.

The room was barren, there seemed to be nothing at all. No light, no food, not even a bolt out of place. Everything looked perfectly smooth and controlled. Still, there was no doubt in his mind that he would escape, he just needed time. The collar around his neck needed to be broken, and once that happened...well he would have to see.

"I was hoping you could tell me if you liked your upgraded suite. I thought you'd feel at home here." She smirked, though he likely wouldn't see it.

"It's barren and cold, like you and your people."

Jamie made certain that he arrived, that he was properly placed, and that he did not find a means to take root in the heads of any guards. Had he awoken enough to form a coherent thought the woman would have stuck him with another needle, as many times as required to keep him properly sedated. It was necessary after all, to keep a man as dangerous to she and Naboo, at bay and in check.

"We are several thousand feet beneath the surface of Naboo. Maximum security. This isolation pod is secured by a control arm with a primary and secondary backup release. Should you pose to be a problem for the warden, your fate will be the release of said control arm, thereby equalizing the pressure within this room with the pressure outside, effectively crushing you to death in the span of a few very brief seconds."

The woman pointed to the flashing strobes in the corner. "These are very expensive to house and maintain prisoners in, as you could imagine. Consider yourself fortunate."
