It was at that time that left alone in the relative privacy of the quarters provided for him and not quite sure if by chance the length of which their journey were to take before reaching their appointed destination. Ronin on his part could help but grow a bit restless sene the conflicting surge of energy emanate from both saber strap and hidden under the folds of his tunic. To which end unable hold back any longer and feeling some sense of assurance in the relative safety and security of the quarters. That he tentatively reach in to unlatch both sabers and place to lay them side by side before him.

At which time seemed no sooner had they been freed from the confines under his cloak that he couldn't help their conflicting surge of energy wave thru the force slightly subside. In a way that if but a moment they seem to rather hum with life rather than conflict if anything else. That at that time he sit down cross leg onto the floor in the middle of the room and began to slow. Guide his mind and self into a calming meditative state once taught to him by one his former Master. Hope if anything helps clear his mind as he slowly prepared for the task ahead.

She took the time, to relax, to allow herself to focus within the force and center herself. The jedi master was contemplating what she would be able to do until she was looking at it. The eye was a place that many didn't go to, it was a place that only a handful of people went there... somehow less cared it existed despite its long history. She had found herself disappointed with that attitude from many fo the jedi and everything that was going into it. She breathed out when they finally arrived and sent a mental message to Ronin. to alert him that they would be able to head down there, go to the world and see what they might be able to do for the jedi himself to help him recover. "We are here." She was moving to the runabout so they could head down as it practically radiated within the force.

It was then once seated and able to center himself thru initiate the meditative state that he for once had been able to peek behind the veil. Though not in the same way nor without the clarity that he initially hopes for as he once did. That one time he'd tried during his initial trip to the Temple on Alderaan where on accounts he felt the first pieces of the puzzle that was his life and legacy from which was his heritage came into focus.

Of which came the unexpected meet with one his own kinfolks who though was not of his bloodline had no less been the close he could hope for in finding. Knowing all too well soon after from his brief time researching their archives of what if anything his father legacy entails. Of the seem misconception as well deeply hidden truth about them that he felt he had barely scratched the surface of at this point in time. And yet knowing what bit he could thus far have somewhat enticed him see things thru. Learn as much he could and somehow find a way bring it all into focus or fruition.

As the crossroad turning point seem though out of reach seem so close. That he felt it be imperative that he try and at best prepare for the day when with the truth could be known to him and he comes face to face with the darker shadows. Was when barely skirting the edges of the doorway as he did that he come to connect and receive the brief message from Master Ike.

"We are here."

In which time pulling back he began to pack what little he had with him and head off the door. Thru the hall and meet with Master Ike.....

She looked at him and stood there, in her most presentable robes. allowing the force to stretch out before her with information to himself. She was moving and walked wearing the outer robes. Given as a gift from the sunrider family, Nomi's robes... passed through the generations and joined with her robes from Ulic.... the inner and outer robes. The belt of Cay Qel-Droma that served to bring it all together but she was a product of the force now. THese items refined and improved upon by each member fo the family for thousands of years pouring their force energy into them. Matsu stepped off the ship and her black hair hung down low, weaving up into thick braids that were brought into three ponytails... then weaved again into a braid.

The crystal bells within her head were the smallest thing before the massive temple. The jedi teams working to restore parts of it and bring them all around. SHe could see the eye and feel the force itself here. THe vergence in the force had led the jedi here long ago, they built this city around it and this temple on top of it. A way to look out upon the world from high up but also to look out into the galaxy. All around her the jedi master was moving and contemplating the force. Matsu was walking up the massive steps when she could see that it only went to the middle of the temple and there was still the massive chamber where the eye was located.

It was then as he came find Master Ike and meet with her again that he couldn't help gaze at her. Seeing her there dress in such finery compared to his thought the longer he stared at her. That it slowly dawns on him that it was more than that but in a sense, it was more than for past the finery lay a deeper history. Though not seen with the naked eye but no less felt ever so prominently thru the force as if it not only emanated but no less woven deep into each fiber that held the robe together. As such that deep inside, a part of him could help but feel both be in awe as well in fear of what lay within if he so continues on the unknown path he was on. For as much or little he was able to progress in break thru the walls that imprison the truth he sought or thought he sought. Was still a bitter hard contention he was hard to press to consider let alone believe completely...


That as far he knew could shake the guilt that for all the good he thought he'd so wanted do was all the darkness. So deeply embedded as it was woven into the very fiber of him that as much he felt it was all in the past. That the sliver of doubt could help be there whispering in the shadows as he slowly peels back the veil that bound hold him back as he came believe.

She entered the massive temple and allowed the force to flow throughout her body. Seeing the other jedi, the restoration of the eye and what they were doing here. Everythign that would serve them for this project... everythign that could be used to get some of the galactic teams of rehab planets for the jedi or some fo the other species. She had teams, she had ithorians who were helping with the garden and everything else they might be able to offer to them. "Welcome to the Eye, one fo the oldest jedi temples in the galaxy and lost for thousands of years until we found ti and recovered some of it. Now we are restoring it to the glory it once had as a bastion to the jedi."

It was then once they gone past the steps and enter deeper into the inner chamber of the Temple that she began speaking. To which he did well to listen all the while his eyes couldn't help but glance with a sense of awe.

"Welcome to the Eye, one of the oldest jedi temples in the galaxy and lost for thousands of years until we found it and recovered some of it. Now we are restoring it to the glory it once had as a bastion to the jedi."

At which time while although her voice resonated and was no less had his attention that it was then he heard it. Not so much in terms of words but something of a low whisper seems fairly incoherent at best. Ebbing as it did so akin to something like the crashing tides or faint breath. To which time he then turn towards her silently with a slight look of uncertainty as it were awe. As the thought lingers in his mind eye....wondering as he did to think. Had he finally lost seeing no reaction from her or any indication that if anything that she too heard it? But then again this left him to ponder what if anything could this be. That which he had all but barely touched upon reading during his brief stay in the temple he'd last visited in Alderaan held territories?

She was going into the eye and all fo the work that the pair could do. Where the jedi themselves, where a few of the jedi were able to see her. She looked at all of them, she looked at Ronin with a look on her face leading him into the larger chambers of the eye. Where the seats were around the massive indent of a floor. Filled with crystals and they could focus on all of it. "Here we go. Go to the center and we can begin whenever you want to." The jedi master was standing there and she was looking over some fo the reports that were coming to see her. Where they might be able to check on it, where she might be able to really see some parts of it.

It was then in the midst of him being lost in thought that her words seem to resonate bring him back to the present. As he seems had unknowingly found himself in the middle of one what could be one of the main chambers in this ancient temple.

"Here we go. Go to the center and we can begin whenever you want to."


At which time looking about he could help note something that he had not earlier. Where in where he'd assume a slightly raised circular platform was now came be something else. Which oddly strange enough that it took him a while to least let the idea of what he was seeing to be a reality. For in its place was instead a circular half-dome with crystalline shards jolting straight out from. Shine as it would seem the closer he got near it to something akin to a campfire. Bright yet not so harsh on the eye nor giving off any sort firey warmth it no less left him in a bit of awe still just by looking at it. But eventually turn to face Master Ike he then nods and proceeds without a word approach closer as if drawn to it. And soon enought seem in time with each step or breath taken as he inched closer. That he felt it....slow and faint at first as it slowly built to a crescendo that he could have sworn under his breath. That by the time he came stand in front of the crystalline shard the faint whisper turn intoa somewhat audible hum. One which oddly enought thought without words made some sense to him on an unknown level.

That even without prompting he reaches out to lay a hand on a series of crystal in the formation that may them glow. WIth a shimmering glow that then reverberated within in the intertwined fibers of the force within the room. That seems somehow drew some recognition in his presence enough that from one the seat within the circle a small panel crack open enough to reveal a smallish compartment. Whose contents was not clearly visible and beckoned them to approach.

Matsu was standing there and letting Ronin focus as she was walking. turning it over in her hands with soem fo the attention as she had a vision a place in the heart of the galaxy few could see and there was so much there. So much power and menace until the jedi master saw something happening with Ronin. he had gotten a place opened here at the temple and she raised an eyebrow but was following behind him as she went. "Lead the way you managed to open it Ronin." A smile on her face at the idea of exploring far more of the temple. Matsu was walking as she clasped her hands behind her back and looked towards the crystal.

It then seemed more out of curiosity that he approached and reach into the now open secret compartment. He then grabs before pulled out a strange looking orb of the sort which hums to life with a seem ebbing faint glow. As he then hears from the background note Master Ike approach to his flank.

"Lead the way you managed to open it Ronin."

To which with a slight perplex look on his face he slightly shift the object in his hand.

"Yeah seem so thought.....umm what is it? Exactly Master Ik...."

At which time it was then he feels a strange sensation course from his hand down his shoulder as the glow began to pulse ever so faster until such time.One hears a click and with each succeeding one that follows seem somehow caught him by surprise that it almost fell from his hand. Though by the grace of the gods of perhaps some semblance of luck it didn't. And instead, it came hover before they shine still in its faint glow as it contorted then click as if it then change shape to an almost perfect orb.

Matsu was walking with him and stopped when he stopped. the jedi turned to look at her as a warm glow came then she was walking with a small grin on her face. "Well it looks like you did manage to find something special after all." Matsu said it while watching him but placed a hand on his shoulder before continuing and allowing the force to move around them. She was focusing on the energies, he would be able to see the holocron before she spoke. "A lost holocron is never a bad thing to find in a temple such as this. We will have to be careful though it looks like this could have been boobytrapped just in case.

"Well, it looks like you did manage to find something special after all."

It was at that time although slightly taken aback and left at a slight loss as to how to interpret the following chain of events. Although feeling the reassuring touch of Master Ike hand upon his shoulder help steady his stance enough let things progress as they did. Where in soon enought the partially hovering holocrom adjusted to stay mere inch off his hand. As he then looking at it with a curious gaze caught to overhear Master Ike words.

"Almost Holocron is never a bad thing to find in a temple such as this. We will have to be careful though it looks like this could have been booby-trapped just in case."

At which time seem still overtaken with slight awe as well interest with what he found spoke.

" A Holocron?Ah so that what this is....well I guess in a way its sort odd looking and not quite like any I've seen in Voss or anywhere else. As if by chance it both feel and appears to be quite old....and not be accessed for quite a length of time. At which end I agree that some level of caution could be in order as like you said, Master Ike. It could either be booby-trapped or ...."

He pauses seem much in keeping with his character drop in a slight lighthearted jest to lighten the mood.

" ... be too fragile that I am afraid might break it or something."

But then again seem after a while and the Holocrom had to seem settled in his hand. Having found some sort of familiarity or what not in him that it soon began to slowly fully unlock. Beam out a faint glow from its top to slowly form a figure......that soon spoke.

"Greetings young one I am Jedi Master Morck...keeper and guardian of the ancient recorded archives that had been handed down from generation from since the formation of our great Jedi order. Speak truthfull now your intention and with the living force as my guide will answer accordingly least by its will find your intention would be found false. As such we will act accordingly to seal your fate for disturbing our slumber in accordance with protocol Alpha."

She looked at it and then at the gatekeeper fo the holocron a raised eyebrow while the jedi master held a small grin on her face. "interesting." She had to say it and think it... even more so she was curious about what the jedi knight Ronin would do with it. "My intention is always to learn." She looked at it and stood there off to the side with her hands clasped behind her back. She was looking over at Ronin and he was skilled, talented to have found this and the chance for all of them to learn and work together... where she might be able to see parts of it. "What about you Ronin.. what are you hpoping to have or to find."

It was at that time that with his head cocked to one side as his mind drifted in deep thought what if any in the foreground.

"Interesting."

Master Ike words drifted to pass thru his consciousness for the time being. For if nothing else he internally couldn't help but agree to some extent to her words spoken regarding how interesting this all turn out be. Although in the back his mind a faint fear linger as he couldn't help note a strange yet familiar voice linger in his mind. Faint as much as it seems familiar yet foreign at the same time to him ate at his mind that it momentarily distracted him from giving an answer to the strange holographic image that appeared from the Holocron. THought luckily Master Ike came to respond from the sideline abet it was brief enought buy him some time.

"My intention is always to learn."

At which time with careful consideration he then came forth to reply.

"Answers.....all I wish it finds answers if nothing else..."

It was then after seeming a brief pause the image slightly flickered then turn to face them individually.

"Very well .... the force tells me....you both speak truthfully and so I will try to accommodate both your request as best I can for it seems. Time had both it's passing as well its toll had not been well... too kind. As I detect so much time had seemed had since past and am finding some difficulty accessing some of the other Holocrons ...."

She was listening to it and gave a nod of her head.. there was always a risk of degradation for holocrons even if they are expertly made. The crystal lattice can break down and most don't know how to repair them. She was listening though and this was soemthing that had been connected to ROnin with a nod of her head while she touched her hand to his shoulder. "THis is all you, I will study it later but this called out to you, you found it so it is only fair that you get to use it first ROnin." She said it with a smile on her face though while they were moving around now. To be on the side before bowing her head and listening to everything.

Not Afraid of the Dark....lost in the light​

​

Standing there stare deep into both the flickering image before them and the void within left him breathless. As if he felt standing upon the precipice between the land of the broken and the answers he so seems desperately sought. That although not alone he felt as he was as the bone-chilling coldness crept deep within his bones. One which for the light of him he could not explain nor have not felt even during his time on Hoth but no less reminded him of something else. Not since perhaps that one session he'd had with one the healer where he came so close yet so far in unraveling the mystery that seems to elude him. That of the reasoning behind the seeming lost time between his departure from the temple and his subsequent return.

And so perhaps sense it or simply by chance he then only felt the warm or some semblance of it seep in to subside the death coldness he felt. When Master Ike lifted a hand to then let rest upon his shoulder as she soon came speak.

"This is all you, I will study it later but this called out to you, you found it so it is only fair that you get to use it first Ronin."

At which time with a faint turn his head slightly towards her that he gave a faint nod followed by a reply.

"Thank you, Master Ike."

Before he then turns his attention back to the figure that by now seem gaze at him with the cold stern gaze of both. Annoyance and something else that eluded him as he breathes in deeply to center his thought before speaking.

" Master Morck.... are there any records of this in the archives....?"

He then grabs a nearby loose branch drew a line upon the faint dust upon the ground to form a symbol.To which the image flicker and seem furrow its brow if one could see it and speak.

"Yes...many moons ago although I am not able to access much the data as it was stored in another...for good reason and safekeeping."

He was speaking and she allowed herself to relax, just listenign and watching with her pupils dilated... mind working and remembering everythign that she was seeing happen. The jedi master allowed the force itself though to guide her actions until she crossed her arms over her chest. Hair shifting in the breeze and the small draft that was being focused all around. Listening to it she had one of the largest archives of the jedi at her beck and call compared to many of the others... she knew and maintained the library station itself that was a massive monolith to well protect the jedi themselves instead of having all of the archives in a single location like ossus or tython or coruscant and losing information.

It was then gaging from the subtle displeased look along with his reply of the Holocron guardian to his question. Regarding... not being able to access much the data as it was stored in another...for good reason and safekeeping. Only brought out a faint mix of displeasure as well curiosity in him which given Master Ike subtle choice to keep herself on the sideline as a silent observer rather than an active participant. Had made it all too tempting as much as it was trying to keep both his mind and emotion at that time in check. So much so he rather kept silent for the moment as he works on collection he thought as to how to proceed next. But then again before he could take it back the words seem to slip his lips and end up being spoken anyways.


"But why?....for good reason and safekeeping? What does that mean....."

It was at that time that turn his gaze back to him the figure flicker a bit before speaking.

" It means young one... that it means just that....that by the wisdom of the council it had been deemed....kept for a good reason and safekeeping...for it is not safe nor a good reason to know at that time...or in this case our time back then for it was at best connected to a touchy subject...one which divided not only the council but those not well verse enough in the ways of the force to handle. And given the way, the information was gather....no one could be certain of its validity as much what it could truly mean for those in the order. That the council deemed it best that the information is split and hidden away in a separate archive.

At any rate, I guess if you must know all can tell you is this...if you know your history I would suggest you look up the planet Lettow. Along with the myth that surrounded the founding of our order. The tales of Bogan and Ashlan....and perhaps only then can you begin to understand or find some the answers to that which you ask."

Matsu was looking at Ronin and had a nod of her head to the information that he was listening to. She remained at the ready in case of anything but sat down kneeling as she meditated. THe force reaching out from her mind towards the temple they were in here it was the eye and she could see all of it. She could see the galaxy as she had been taught and there against the background was the ancient feeling of the spirits... beings who were far older then any of the jedi could imagine. You had to have explored the darkest and deepest pits of the galaxy to discover their origins and purpose and even then it was mostly them just making up what they wanted people to think or know.
