SPECIAL FEATURES
- Sturdy Phrik-A frame construction allows for weapon to have extreme physical durability. This allows it to be tossed, dropped, thrown, smashed, crushed, beaten or used as a weapon and still function afterwards. To put it simply this weapon's construction is second to none and allows for it to be used and abused in any hostile environment.
- Various laminates including FM-001, FM-002, and FM-003 allow for the weapon to be utilized in various austere environments, including those that would normally disable electronics. This provides great protection against corrosives, extreme heat and cold, EMP/Ion effects, and others. This combined with the construction of the weapon makes for an extremely reliable weapon that will operate anytime, anywhere.
- Basis of the weapon system is a capacitor combined with a Micro Isotope-5A Reactor with a Tibanna cannister. This allows for essentially unlimited ammunition with the weapon as when the capacitor finally empties, the Isotope-5A Reactor will continuously replenish it. This allows for the rifle to have an unlimited magazine that while it won't allow for extremely high rates of fire (due to it being only semi-automatic and the rate of charge), will allow for the user to always have rounds available when needed. Maximum amount of charged rounds is 15 shots, and takes a minute to fully charge from empty.
- Magazine for the weapon is permanently fixed to the weapon. It is removable via a series three locking pins, meaning that while the magazine is secured for field use if a magazine is somehow damaged, defective, or destroyed an operator can replace it relatively easy.
STRENGTHS
- Unlimited Ammo - This weapon has a micro reactor supplying the power to the weapon to give it truly an unlimited magazine. While this isn't allowing for rapid fire over time, it allows for a small magazine of shots to be constantly charged and fired meaning that a skilled shooter can make sure that they can always engage.
- Extremely robust and reliable - This weapon allows for the user to be anywhere and have a viable option to engage enemy targets. It's construction, laminates, and design allows for this weapon to be deployed anytime, anywhere and be used as an effective weapon.
WEAKNESSES
- Small Magazine - This weapon can only hold at maximum 15 shots before it needs to recharge. This compared to other blaster weapons that allow for easily swapped magazines is extremely small, meaning a shooter must pick their targets and practice trigger discipline.
- Larger weapon - This weapon isn't small which makes it less effective at closer range engagements than normal weapons. It's bulkier than the average weapon, and requires that a shooter take into account its smaller magazine, higher recoil, and the time it takes to recharge the magazine.
DESCRIPTION
The second iteration in Freebirds Industries' blaster weapons offerings, the Survival Blaster Rifle is a weapon designed to work in any environment at any time. This weapon has a constantly charging magazine to allow for a nigh unlimited ammunition capacity, a frame with laminates to allow for reliability and a robustness needed in such a weapon. This weapon is super tough, reliable, and will always have at least a few shots ready when you need it. While it has a smaller magazine, higher recoil, and only semi-automatic fire available to it, most users will find that is a better trade off than needing to carry extra charge packs with them.
