Foundation of Power (Open to OS and Prime)

Pulling back as much as he could at the last second to avoid killing his friend, Erebos ended up staring directly at [member="Darth Mythos"]'s face for a few seconds. A single violent cough filled part of the inside of his mask with blood as he looked down to see his chest open and then looking towards Mythos's injury of nearly loosing both arms and at least broken collarbones with two large gaping cuts down his chest. He leaned up, feeling the flood of pain threaten to overwhelm him as he took two steps back and dropped the blades in his hands. Moving one hand up to his chest he cursed something in Miralukese and then fell backwards.
A sudden warm feeling filling his chest area as he felt the blood pool a little around his back. As his vision blurred and the circle around his vision began to close in to a faded black his head began to swim in feelings of self loathing for failing and pain of a first time wound that he'd had taken. It didn't take him long to fade into unconsciousness and even though it was welcomed to get away from the pain it also carried with it a sense of dread for the future.

Belgerath's sword was parried away, and he noted the exceptionally good way Isamu had both caught his blade and parried it to the side, and how he wasn't eager to attack. This didn't surprise him to much, but Belgerath didn't intend to do a test of strength. He himself compared to most other Sith of his level, even with the force and anger to fuel his power, was simply not as strong. He had very good reaction speeds however, and agility in general, something Isamu could see in his approach.

Belgerath didn't keep up the power swings after the first attack, opting for light, fast movements. After he was parried he instantly stepped forward just as much as Isamu had stepped back, keeping the spacing, moving his sword and making a quick, though light attack at his right arm. When it was parried or blocked by Isamu, he could feel that it was defiantly lighter then Belgeraths first attack. It didn't have the same feel and weight to it. He was so far not using the force to enhance his body.

As for any openings, Belgerath certainly had them, and with Shii-Cho's focus on deliberate, wild tactics, and with his ungraceful use of it, they were not exactly hard to find. Though none so far were presented that felt particularly safe to try and take, not this early on in their spar at least.

Setzi Lunelle

Searching for Eleos's Altar
The Xilsaga howled as chunks of rocks and debris rained down onto her. Darth Azurea batted away most of the ceiling pieces with her lightsaber and flung the rest away with Telekinesis. She shot a quick glance to [member="Darth Pyrrhus"], who would probably be none-too-pleased with Knight Rapax wrecking parts of the Academy with his lightning attack. She imagined Rapax would be on refresher-cleaning duty soon enough, which caused her to stifle a smile. The gruesome sithspawn crumpled to the floor, but the unfortunate being was only annoyed and slightly terrified by the rocks. However, it didn't stop her from blasting the shape-shifter with her Force Fear, attempting to cripple him with acute terror.

And if the Fear didn't cause him to fall, Azurea, using Form I for the benefit of the students, swung her crimson blade in a high arc at the fellow Sith, attempting to strike him from his higher vantage point.

The hopeful was certainly eager. He stepped forward, keeping the distance between the two as minimal as possible. Isamu continued to step back, drawing the hopeful in. His moves were predictable as he continued to play catch-up. As they moved, the hopeful executed a quick light attack to the right arm of Isamu. Once again, Isamu caught the blade with just above his guard. He felt that it was a much lighter strike than the previous one. Isamu could continue to parry the sword away, and retreat backwards, but the reality was he couldn't keep it up. He was the slower, and far older, of the two. He would tire far sooner then the hopeful. So Isamu decided to punish the eagerness of the hopeful. He did not parry the blade away, but after a brief block, he rotated his sword and pushed the hopeful's own blade back at him. Attempting the catch the hopeful off guard, and use his own speed against him.

Belgerath's quickness to engage did indeed get him into a pickle. As his sword was caught at the guard and the force neatly reflected back at him, he neatly slid back enough to dodge a death blow. However, as his blade came back, it clipped his left ear. Now, normally, this would not be an issue, but with the venom on the blunt blades, not only did his hearing in his left ear go out, but a suprisingly large amount of pain followed. Being so close to the brain as it was, the effect was nigh on instant, and -very- jarring. The pain was comparable to that of having your head drilled into, or atleast that is what Belgerath imagined as he grit his teeth and out a loud cry of pain, his body instinctually backing away fast, and sword coming in front of him in a defensive postion. The pain was more then enough to dull his reactions, but he didn't move backwards and run. He stood there, ready for the coming strike, though even he didn't know how he was going to deal with it in this state.
