DESCRIPTION
Although loyal to the Dark Wonosa Cult and Alisteri Haxim, and as such mostly in the influence of Sith, the F.I.C. is fairly open and available in its operations. Both due to the Sith's attempts to disguise their presence and the fact that the coalition members have a fair bit of independence in their operations, the exporting and processing of goods and materials is pretty much open to whoever is willing to sign a contract with them. They mainly operate and trade with other residents of Formos but a small yet reliable fleet of cargo ships allows them to trade with other planets and factions across the galaxy. The F.I.C. in general is opportunistic yet fairly friendly, still having a somewhat desperate need for trading partners and more permanent contracts.

RATIONALE
With Formos on the edge of most civilized space and still recovering from their time under Bryn'adul occupation, the new populace and remnants of the old on Formos had no real government or economy to speak of. Various corporations, both started by those and the planets as well as those outside of it, began cropping up to try and restore some flow of goods and commerce through the planet aside from the reestablishment of spice smuggling.

Many of these individual groups began to slowly coalesce and buy each other out, gradually starting to form several areas of economic influence across the planet. However, many of these businesses lacked government backing due to the state of Formos itself and as such had to finance protection for their new trade operations out of their own pockets. Then came the Dark Wonosa Cult. Using both their Legion of Kerstas and the Altorius to wage war upon the various pirates and raider gangs that had been abusing the struggling corporations.

With their export routes, both off-world and between their own properties, apparently secured many CEOs and other corporate leaders close to the Formos Dresuoti accepted integration into the up and coming Dominion of Formos established by Alisteri Haxim. Many were reluctant to give up total independence, but clever maneuvering by Alisteri allowed for the various groups to be centralized and united under a corporate board made up of the existing leaders. This board would of course be headed by the Sith and most of the coalition's resources would be meant for his purposes, but the board still had plenty of independence in regards to their trading partners as well as almost total control of their hiring practices so the arrangement was deemed acceptable.

With several industrial and mining corporations now under one centralized control, the Formos Industrial Coalition was formed and despite the small size of the overall operations their position as one of the few proper industrial bases on the planet ensured that business would soon follow. Cooperation between what had been distinct groups and complexes soon cemented the coalition and a small yet reliable system was soon established.
