Seren was pleased with the arrangement that Magnate Yakieer of Garde Noire and herself had made regarding the shipment of Illyrian ore. While Point de Titan would not extract the highest profit margin possible, what it lacked in avarice it made up for in longevity. As a Vampirika, the long game -- as they said -- was a personal preference. Nonetheless, neither the Magnate nor herself could afford to draw this out longer than was necessary. For while the ore had the benefit of being local there were Nobles and merchants squeezing every ounce of currency hidden within all manner of fees. This arrangement might undercut their personal desires for wealth.
Thus, Seren had reached out among the Nobles to find someone that might be fitting for an equitable arrangement. Someone that could take the material after Point de Titan purified and molded it and sell it for a more than adequate price. The meeting this early evening was one that would seek to determine if Elias Faivre would turn out to be such a person -- the third party to the grand designs of patriotic Illyrians.
Where then should such a place occur but in the Capitol? A neutral location. Within a meeting chamber of the Court of Iron. Fitting for the material they wish to discuss. Not overly difficult to arrange either as the Magnate had the Chief Manufacturing Consultant's ear. The lavish decoration befitting Illyria's past showed no signs of being 'corrupted' by the Zeltron's unique sense of fashion. Even Seren's uncertainty about the energetic woman's future among them had been lessened by how Cali had conducted herself. It seemed despite being exuberant that she knew when to temper her enthusiasm.
The meeting chamber had a large table with high backed chairs with refreshments set out for them, and more available on order by the staff. All the comforts of the Capitol, but with the privacy afforded those conducting business.
The Vampirika turned away from a large window with a smile to see which of her companions would be joining her now.
