For Whom the Bell Tols [Black Sun Dominion of Tol Amn]

Highwayrob.png

Objective 2
Make sure everyone knows who in charge in the Smuggling trade.

"What's that noise?"

"Only the sound of guns going off in the distance. They're most likely not coming for you, yet.."

After multiple hours of discussion, the two had finally come to a consensus. The verdict, Cho was to take the weapon parts for 10,000 credits. A simple transaction, yet would be a bit costly. Cho Enterprises didn't have much to it's name. Yet the new weapon parts were certainly going to be useful for weapon construction in the long run. So, the deal was made. The weapon parts were soon be transported to a holder ship while his ship was still being developed. At the same time, cannon fire and an array of multiple other sounds started to erupt outside of the freighter. Who knew what was going on. That's when he heard her voice.

Elana Vaelyr said:
"This is Captain Elana Vaelyr on Of Sanguine Seas. This system is now the property of the Black Suns. If you're flying with an unaffiliated organization or solo, you need to pay your tithe. Failure to do so will mean you pay a much higher price." She paused for a moment, knowing that those near sensor consoles would see her ship lording over the bloated whale of a freighter. "You have two hours to contact us to rectify the situation, or you will see either my ship or one of my sister and brothers ships very soon." She smirked, then hit the stud on her armrest to shut off the broadcast.

"Huh, a fellow Black Sun member. How curious." Cho said with a rugged smile. He knew his time on the freighter would have to be cut in half, it he didn't want to be caught in the crosshairs of a Black Sun ]operated ship. He stood up from the chair, the Twi'lek women getting up with him. He held them both by the waist as he proceeded to walk towards the door. He looked back over at the Leader, who was looking at the datapad frantically. Cho spoke up loud enough so that he could hear him.

"Well, that's my que to leave. Better pay the tithe or Vaelyr won't be so merciful." He then walked out of the door way, the guards removed from the post and moved up towards the bridge. He told the women to meet him by the bridge as he had one more message to make. "And my advice, my dear friend," Cho said smuglike. "If Elana's boarding team comes on this ship, you better bet your hide that your dead. Hide before you get caught, okay? Pleasure doing business with you." After the words were spoken Cho weaved his way through the collection of items one last time as he head back onto his own ship. When he was aboard he discovered the location of Of Sanguine Seas. It was time for Elana Vaelyr and Dah'lek Cho to actually talk to one another.

Assert Black Sun Dominance in the Smuggling Trade

Elana nodded as the final report from [member="arcteria fenris"] and her team that the freighter was under their control. Normally she would have smiled, but all this meant was that she was back to the original mood killing thoughts from before their brief engagement.

"Give my regards to acting Captain Fenris, and have her bring her boat about and tuck her under our wing to starboard." She said, then looked over at Kal. "Kal...do we have another transmission?"

Kal looked up and nodded. "Right on schedule, rotating frequencies attempting to be hidden in the engine wash as it crosses the shield boundary."

"Fething... She stood from her chair, hand falling to the pistol at her belt. "With me Kal."

She strode from the bridge, moving with an angry grace that built with each step. They walked from the bridge, through what would have been officer country on a true navy ship, and into the crew berthing. From crew berthing they walked into the engine spaces, where she took a left and pulled the blaster pistol from her belt. She walked into an auxiliary engine space holding the machine shop.

"Adrian Tenways, step away from the communicator." She hit a stud on her blaster, letting it noisily charge up to full power. "I won't give you another warning."

The man sitting at the station let his hands drift up and he stood back from the station. The man started to turn around, and Elana shot him, single shot through the side of the knee. The man crumpled to the ground as she holstered the blaster and nodded to Kal.

"Bind him, Kal, and store him in the brig." She turned and began striding back to the bridge. "We can question him once we've finished the operation here."

Vitek seemed to take exception to Gad's initiative to speak to Bajiibo directly and assure him that he'll have plenty of lucrative opportunities with the Black Sun then against it. He didn't like Gad butting in, and expressed that with a mean look. Gad only looked at him but didn't return an expression. He didn't care really. He had his own protections. Bajiibo seemed amused and decided to accept, stating his intentions to make a better deal with those higher up in the leadership. He complemented Gad and stated he should be the one on the throne. As if Vitek needed any more reason to be angry with Gad.

A Zabrak approached him and Vitek's Bounty Hunter. Stating that it was time to leave. "Good, the sooner the better," Gad said to them, looking momentarily over at the Sluissi, then Bajiibo, before following. Some of Gad's men started mingling with the Sluissi's mercenaries once they got some space from the Hutt. One approached the Bounty Hunter. "I don't suppose they'll all go this smoothly?"

"Keep some distance from Vitek," He ordered to his men, when they started to leave the palace. He didn't want make a scene.

Primary objective secure. Priority target eliminated, perimeter secure. Job done. This did not mean however that all of a sudden the remaining Black Sun forces would stand down and take it easy. Well, certainly not those representing Clan Sharratt. They could relax once safely ensconced on a freighter heading down a hyperlane back home to Nar Shaddaa. Vox Stath brought his weapons down to his arms, not quite ready to holster them just yet. He did not sense any kind of remnant danger in this room, but he did not get to his age in this profession through lax caution.

Issuing some mute commands to his clan and kin, Vox made sure that the area was indeed secure while Malicar did his talky part. Negotiations would be quick he felt, the new king of this little palace seemed very keen to strike a deal. That realm was all for the Chiss to deal with, the contract with his clan and the Suns was dealt with a long time ago, they were the muscle here, not the mouthpiece. This suited the Zabrak just fine. The surviving opponents disarmed and restrained, Vox felt that this particular assignment was all but wrapped up. It was just a case of packing up the toys and heading home. Falling back in line with his fellow Mandalorians, Vox gave a brief nod to Akhuna. “Jate parjai.” Good victory. She fought well, as did they all. This day belonged to the Black Suns. To Clan Sharratt.

Objective: Take control of the Drug Cartel, and establish leadership as Kingpin
Adrian had waited for years, for the return of Black Sun even with his attempt on Ord Mantell to unite various cartels and criminal empires together. It had all but failed. But to his surprise, he found that another had taken his concept. As if like a proton torpedo. Was able to unite the criminal elements of the Underworld into a force to be reckoned with, and this was the opportunity Adrian had to put himself within Black Sun once again. As a Chiss in disguise. He wanted to be one of the few of his people to make a name for himself, and soon it wouldn't be long before he had to shed his disguise when he made himself as head of the drug trade. Black Sun was in it's opening moves of what a business man would call a hostile takeover. Black Sun would be the new name in the galaxy, governments, Republics, Alliances, Ascendancys, Empires. So restrictive in the way to live. Black Sun would offer true freedom. Only binded by a code. Honor among Criminals. Such things yes were absurd but such things were needed in this Chaotic Galaxy. After all if there was no code in the Black Sun than none of this wouldn't happen. Of course next to the code and loyalty to the Cartels. There was money to be made.
For the Chiss-Dark Jedi Knight he emerged with his own group of followers. Approaching a Hutt, who was equally surprised smoking a Hookah. It spoke in Huttese which of course Adrian knew, but decided to let the protocol droid. "The Great and all powerful Xim The Hutt would like to know what the meaning of this is." The armed guards reacted quickly. Of course Dyson carried a smirk, sensing them in the Force. Yet made no move to act on such abilities. Pulling out his favorite Handblaster in a quick draw. Firing into a single shot into Xim's chest before he saw it coming. Xim falling over dead. Adrian moved in a quick stride pushing over the droid out of the way as he looked to everyone.
"Listen up! My name is Adrian Dyson, and these lovely gentlemen shall be taking care of you." He said as he motioned his blaster pistol in direction of his fellow crew, and the likes of the armed guards with itchy trigger fingers. Directed at him. Dyson with a flamboyant smile continued with his words. "While Xim was great I can admit that. This world is falling under control of Black Sun and I make the rules now. Consider yourselves under new management. If you got a problem with that, surely Black Sun is more than capable of replacing you lot." He said as he pointed towards the guards that emerged from the entrance. All heavily armed with blaster rifles. As he gave a victorious smirk. The guards quickly relenting as Dyson continued onward. "So where shall we begin?"

Ship: Upsilon-Class Command Shuttle
Troops: Outer Rim Mercenaries [10/10]

The journey back to the ships was uneventful for the most part. Aside form the raging storm not much seemed to have change, and they were not pursued by Bajibo's underlings. Soon the the Upsilon-Class Command Shuttle began to take off, raising into the sky as the large wings began to fold downward "Pilot, the next meeting isss at the Utijibi palace." the Palace would not be far away. About fifteen minutes at taxi speed. Meanwhile the Sluissi was begin wiped down from the rain by servants. The throne bearers were taking a much needed rest while shivering in blankets. Assuming the other vessels followed behind the shuttle, Vitek's ship landed on an ornate pad. This Kadijic seemed slightly more wealthy than the last. While the Palace was much smaller it had more modern utilities including a starport and service droids.

As the ramp of the shuttle lowered the Slaver was hoisted yet again on the shoulder's of his slaves. The Outer Rim Mercenaries leading the procession. They were greeted this time not by guards or violence but several well dressed Chiss. The five Chiss attendants gave a respectful dip of their head "The Magnificent Utijibi welcome you, Vigo of the Black Sun, to the palace." It was an unexpected welcome to be sure, and Vitek eyed them suspiciously "Very well. Lead ussss to your lordssss." to which the Chiss responded professionally and in a clipped way "As you wish. This way."

If one was to look up out of curiosity in the lack of rain, they would see Rodian style environmental shields that kept the inhospitable weather at bay. Vitek spoke quietly to Ardasz from atop his throne although he did not look at him "The Utijibi are cunning. Do not be fooled by their hossspitality. They are no happier to ssssee me than Bajibo. Take the trouble maker" he clearly spoke of Gad "And invessstigate the hangar. I ssssupsect they will attempt to prevent our leaving. Deal or not. Assss hossstagesss." Vitek seemed keenly aware that he was being lead into a trap. Though he would not show fear. His scaled fingers wrapped tightly around the Force Pike as he gave a hissing comment to the Chiss "It issss uncommon for the Chissss to work ssssso closssely with Huttssss. One may ssssussspect intelligent beingssss ssssuch as yourssselves to be negotiatorssss not sssservants." a faint smile edged at Vitek's scaled lips as the Chiss remained silent. Caught off guard by the strange comment.

Objective 1: Meet Black Sun representatives and negotiate terms. Survive them and get rich.

Messorem listened patiently as Malicar spoke once more, the rules he laid out seemed reasonable enough.
"I can agree to those terms easily enough." Chuckling once more, Messorem tipped his hat to Messorem before giving another flourishing bow.

Turning towards the shield controls, Messorem deactivated them, even as the mercs fully stood down now. They knew the fight was over, and most of them were glad for it, as it meant they didn't have to die this day. Smirking beneath his mask, Messorem motioned towards Malicar.
"So, you said discuss the percentage in private. Well, right this way then if you will."

Having said that, Messorem turned on his heel and marched towards a side door that led towards another opulent meeting room. No one was in this room until Messorem entered, hopefully with Malicar close behind. Seeing as he didn't trust anyone in the throne room, no one else would be joining him, and Messorem idly hoped that Malicar would come alone.

Objective 2
“Please give us a chance?”

A baldish middle human begged on his knees. Bruticus stood before him staring down with contempt inside the main room of the once luxurious headquarters of the station. Now it was torn and battered from the violent assault that just ended. Behind them were several surviving smugglers sitted together and guarded by a circle of Blood Corsairs. Outside the other parts of the smugglers’ stronghold was being ransacked.

With a scowl underneath his mask Bruticus replied. “You had your chance Ferol. The Black Sun does not take kindly to those who reject generous offers.”

“I was a fool but we can work something out.”

Ferol pleaded grasping both hands and growing fear within his voice. Growling with open disgust Bruticus suddenly grabbed the gang leader by the throat. Lifting him up off the ground the pirate captain angrily stared into his captive’s green eyes.

“Everything on this station now belongs to the Black Sun including the merchandise onboard the ships you have docked here. There will be no deal.”

Bruticus answered in a cold like manner before breaking Ferol’s neck with a twisted snap. Tossing the newly made corpse to the side the raider turned to his crew present and ordered.

“Report our success immediately and escort all the survivors to an airlock. They are to be released from this station.”

The smugglers talked among themselves excitingly, while a few more sighed with relief, thinking they were going to be freed. However, some of the corsairs savagely smiled knowing what the order really meant. After an hour any Black Sun members with holonet access will sooner or later see footage of dozens of Zeta based smugglers being thrown out the airlock one by one. The viewers will note many of the captives kicking and screaming with terrors.

Some curse the pirates in defiance while others pleaded for mercy or cried out to any deities before the end. At the end of the footage a bold caption states the following words.

A death worthy of fools.

The Chiss had now made himself known to the likes of the armed guards, as he sat down on podium that the Hutt was using as a resting spot. As he waited to hear anything from the group. It seemed for right now it was the right move. Now he had to show that he was something to be reckoned with, and he was certain that no one would argue with the likes of a Black Sun Enforcer. As he made himself known the rest of those that followed Xim reluctantly gave into the Chiss Cyborg's demands. As he waited and watched to see if anyone would really object to his own takeover as he made the first moves in an attempt to take over what he longed wanted. A slice of the underworld that no one had or would touch yet. Not when he was around. If any drug smuggling across borders were to be made it would be through him of course and through him alone.
Resting comfortably until he got his new throne established. He knew all over the planet that Black Sun were making similar moves all across the planet. Raiding, making deals. As it would no longer be the Hutts in control of Hutt space. It would be the likes of Black Sun making all the moves. He would have to start expanding, showing he was feared while seeing what products could be seen, or the likes of what there is to be made. All he knew is that business would soon be booming. A lot of folks in the galaxy were looking for an escape. A good time in order to find some relief in the horrors that took place in the last sixty years. Whenever someone was looking for a fix. Dyson would be the name they had heard.
Soon his Empire would begin that would be one that serves Black Sun, soon he would crawl through the ranks, and he knew that. Looking at all the faces looking at the so called "New Management." This was nothing save for what the beginning what this new path was going to be.

" By my calculations this Bantha stew should be done. By the maker! Oh no!" The Droid shrieked as his photorecptors observed a change in coloration to the texture of the meats within. The tissues quickly began to shift into a swamp green like color. Magnifying his inner optics revealed the reason why. A build up of venom within the meat had effected the entire meal. As a result the proteins making up the Crystal snake venom had mutated! This was not the desired effect PW desire but it interested him beyond anything he had imagined before. The meat was entering into a state of tissue necrosis on a molecular level. It of course would take several days to completely deconstruct this slab of meat but still...no less effective.
The neurotoxins were constant within the muscular junctions of the specimen. Paralysis would of been in effect if the tissue of apart of a living organism. Another vial was withdrawn out of the droids chassis. Sample was needed. Maybe this new venom could be used to great effect. So focused on his new study the presence of a Weequay security guard almost startled the golden one. " Oh heavens. Look what you asked has now been prepared." PW bluffed.
" Whats that smell? Its horrid." Weequay spat and forced air out of his nostrils. A wave of thick green liquid came to life. Walking out of his resting pot and leaping toward the Weequay with lethal intent. It was all sparked by the simple swipe of a golden hand.
Screams filled the kitchen followed by gasps.
" Sir, You are experiencing cardiac arrest. Is there any way I could assist you? My programming does include medical aid. No? Well good day sir. I wish you well in your future travels through Chaos." Fading into a dark hallway the golden frame could no longer be seen. Rather the sound of shuffling foot steps echoed through the chambers above and below.

"Five hundred thousand credits? For a hundred acres? Surely you can come down some." Aurelius Baldor said to the landowner, a stocky Ithorian man. "And that's not counting the expenses I need to turn this land into a useful vineyard." Two men in masks and black trenchcoats stood behind him, holding red rifles. Aurelius had intended to buy the land for the purposes of building a vineyard for producing his own wine, but the Ithorian was driving a hard bargain.

"I have to make a profit as well, devil man," the Ithorian responded in his own language. "I will come no lower than 500,000, either take it or find someone else's land to buy." "Look, I'm trying to be reasonable with you. Pretty soon we're going to own this world, and then there would be nothing stopping me from storming in with armed thugs and forcing you off the land. But I'm not an unreasonable man. I will pay you two hundred and fifty thousand, and not a credit more."

"Are you listening to me? I said I will not come down," the Ithorian said, crossing his arms. Aurelius reached into his coat, pulling out a holdout pistol and turning off the safety, pointing it at the Ithorian farmer from his hip. "I'm trying to give you money here. You're leaving here with either the money or a blaster bolt, and it does not matter to me which." He would rather not get his hands dirty, but was not opposed to if he must. The Ithorian groaned, turning away. "Come inside and we can finalize the deal." Aurelius smirked, holstering his pistol back inside his coat. "Good man." He beckoned for the two men to follow him and the Ithorian inside.
